A fictitious crack model was used to analyze fatigue crack growth under the influence of residual stress. In the fictitious crack model, crack is represented in terms of the separation of two adjacent interfaces and the constitutive equation between the separation and traction is assumed. The effect of fatigue loading was included in the constitutive equation by considering damage accumulation in the cohesive zone. To investigate the effect of the residual stress on the fatigue crack growth, we calculated the residual stress distribution due to transient heat flux to the specimen by finite element method. Fatigue crack growth was simulated by the fictitious crack model with repeated loading. The mode-I crack growth rates were compared for the cases with and without the compressive residual stress around the crack tip. It was observed that the mode-I crack growth can be suppressed by compressive residual stress.
Cetyltrimethylammonium Chloride를 이용한 자성유체의 합성

In this study, magnetite were synthesized through the co-precipitation method which prepared using ferrous chloride and ferric chloride. And ammonium hydroxide solution is used as precipitator. Ferrofluid was dispersed by cetyltrimethylammonium chloride(CTAC). The dispersion stability test using CTAC was stable in ferrofluid by the test of scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Particle size of magnetite was measured by Particle size analyzer(PSA). The smallest particle size was formed at reaction temperature 50℃, stirring speed 500rpm, 0.7mole NH4OH concentration and 20 wt% CTAC and smallest particle size as 68.8nm. Particle size was increased as the temperature and CTAC concentration as increased.

Finite element analysis was conducted for the front head structure of Korean tilting train express (TTX). Crush force vs. crush length diagrams and crushed shapes due to a collision were obtained. Numerical results were investigated with respect to shear failure conditions and material rate dependencies. It was examined how results depend on the material models assumed for the simulation. It is shown that the rate dependency is related to the initial barrier of the crush force and the failure condition affects the average height of the crush force.

To obtain material properties of NiTi shape memory alloy showing pseudoelastic or shape memory effect, tensile test was conducted for various temperatures. Transformation temperature also was measured by using DSC(Differential Scanning Calorimeter), and crystallographic feature of transformation was observed by XRD(X-ray Diffraction).

푸리에 변환과 관련하여 많은 참고할 수 있는 문헌이 존재하지만, 수식의 복잡성과 차이로 인해, 초보자가 푸리에 변환을 이해하고 활용하는 데에는 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 관련된 수식을 정리하고 수치 결과의 비교를 통하여 푸리에 변화을 이해하고자 하였다. 대표적인 입력신호에 대하여 푸리에 변환 결과를 도시하였고 푸리에 변환의 특성을 정리하였다. Many references are available in the area of Fourier transformation. But some differences are found in the mathematical expressions provided in the references. These circumstances prohibit beginners from understanding and using Fourier transformation method. In this paper, relating mathematical expressions are epitomized and some numerical results are compared and interpreted to understand Fourier transformation. Fourier transformation results are displayed for representative input signals and some characteristics are summarized.
