        강수량예측에서 편이보정방법과 GCM 선택에 대한 불확실성 비교

        Many climate studies have used the general circulation models (GCMs) for climate change, which can be currently available more than sixty GCMs as part of the Assessment Report (AR5). There are several types of uncertainty in climate studies using GCMs. Various studies are currently being conducted to reduce the uncertainty associated with GCMs, and the bias correction method used to reduce the difference between the simulated and the observed rainfall. Therefore, this study mainly considered climate change scenarios from nine GCMs, and then quantile mapping methods were applied to correct biases in climate change scenarios for each station during the historical period (1970-2005). Moreover, the monthly rainfall for the future period (2011-2100) is obtained from the RCP 4.5 scenario. Based on the bias-corrected rainfall, the standard deviation and the inter-quartile range (IQR) from the first to third quartiles were estimated. For 2071-2100, the uncertainty for the selection of GCMs is larger than that for the selection of bias correction methods and vice versa for 2011-2040. Therefore, this study showed that the selection of GCMs and the bias correction methods can affect the result for the future climate projection.

      • 난민법 제정의 의미와 향후 과제 ; 난민법 제정과 난민의 권리보호: 법적 보호를 넘어 정착 지원프로그램 개발을 위하여

        이 글은 난민법을 통해 난민의 지위를 부여하는 것을 넘어서 난민의 지위를 부여 받은 사람들이 한국사회의 구성원으로서 정착할 수 있기 위해 정부 혹은 시민사회가 고려할 만한 점들을 미국과 스웨덴의 난민재정착 지원프로그램을 통하여 제시하고 있다. 특히 향후 한국의 정착 지원 개발을 위한 시사점을 (1) 누가 난민정착을 지원할 것인가, (2) 어떤 정착 지원을 할 것인가, (3) 극복해야 할 과제는 무엇인가로 나누어서 다루고 있다. 비록 한국이 동아시아에서 최초로 난민법을 통과시킨 국가이기는 하나, 난민지위를 인정하는 것만으로는 진정 난민의 인권을 보호하고 증진하기에 충분하지 않다. 따라서, 난민들에 대한 효율적인 정착 지원을 위해서는 정부와 시민단체 간의 역할 재정립, 난민들의 (임시) 주거시설 확보와 취업지원프로그램 마련, 난민들의 생활실태 및 요구조사 등이 가장 시급하게 해결되어야 할 과제이다. The purpose of this article is to introduce refugee resettlement programs of the United States of America and Sweden and provide policy suggestions for the development of (re)settlement programs for refugees in South Korea. The suggestions focus on three themes such as who should be in charge of refugee resettlement and assistance; what programs should be provided for the successful (re)settlement; what should be done to make (re)settlement programs more effective. After passing the refugee law, the government and refugee assistance network in Korea need to articulate further legal provisions regarding refugee status determination and (re)settlement assistance. Yet, (re)positioning the roles of the government and NGOs in raising funds, providing services, solving problems in housing refugees, establishing employmentassistance programs, and investigating and understanding the needs of refugees are as much important challenges to be faced as the articulation of legal provisions.

        Methane reforming process using plasma/combustion phenomena has been investigated. The tested atmospheric pressure plasma generation techniques are corona discharge, DBD (Dielectric Barrier Discharge), spark, micro hollow-cathode, microwave torch plasma, and gliding arc. In these comparison tests, hydrogen is produced through direct methane decomposition process (CH₄→C+2H₂). The test results showed that none of the above plasma techniques is economically feasible because of the large operating power consumption. The power consumption, however, can be significantly decreased when hydrogen is produced by the partial oxidation process (CH₄+1/2 O₂→CO+2H₂). In the test of partial oxidation process, one of the most critical factors is O₂/C ratio. As O₂/C ratio increases up to 1, both methane conversion rate and hydrogen yield increase, which results in lower specific power consumption Detailed analysis showed that both plasma chemistry and heat released by combustion contribute to such effective syngas production process.

        대북정책에 대한 개인선호 결정요인

        South Korean policies towards North Korea under Roh Moo-hyun and Lee Myung-bak administrations remains under serious consideration regarding the use of economic engagement to foster needed changes in the North Korean economic system. Public opinion surveys have shown that South Koreans are divided into two groups?those who support engagement policies and those who support disengagement policies. However, what individual policy preferences are and what affects the establishment of individuals’ North Korea policy preferences have received little attention in inter-Korean relations studies. This study examines the determinants of individual policy preferences and the continuities and changes of the determinants of South Korean policy towards North Korea under Roh(2007) and Lee(2012) administrations, using the individuallevel survey data conducted by the Institute for Peace and Unification Studies of Seoul National University. This study shows that although the levels of public support for each administration’s policies towards North Korea are not much different, individuals are likely to support the policy based on their ideational position and regional background which become close to those of the incumbent president and ruling party. It also finds that individuals prefer engagement policy to disengagement policy if they have a strong and intense aspiration for the reunification of the two Koreas. These findings illustrate that there may be differences between elite opinion and public opinion even if public discourse on the South Korean government’s policy towards North Korea has been dominated by elite opinion.

        경기력 향상을 위한 지각기술훈련에 대한 고찰 : 스포츠 인지적 측면 중심으로

        지각이란 다양한 감각기관을 통하여 시각, 청각, 촉각, 후각 등 주위 환경에 대한 정보를 습득하는 과정으로 뇌에 전달된 정보를 통합하고 해석하는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 지각된 정보를 바탕으로 상황에 적합한 정보를 효율적으로 사용하는 능력을 지각기술(perceptual skill)이라 하며, 스포츠에서 지각기술은 경기력 향상을 위한 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 따라서 많은 연구자들은 지각기술을 극대화하기 위하여 다양한 방법의 지각기술훈련 프로그램을 개발하고, 그 효과를 검증하려는 시도들이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서 소개하고 있는 지각기술훈련은 시지각에 중점을 둔 훈련 방법으로 미국이나 유럽에서 스포츠 경기력 향상을 위해 적용하는 훈련프로그램이다. 축구 페널티킥 상황에서 골키퍼에게 키커의 중요 단서(키커의 엉덩이-몸통, 발의 각도)를 바탕으로 지각기술훈련을 실시한 결과, 볼의 방향 예측 능력이 향상되었고, 테니스에서도 서버의 중요 단서(자세, 공, 라켓)에 대한 지각기술훈련을 실시한 결과, 서브 방향에 대한 예측 능력이 향상되었다. 최근 지각기술훈련에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있지만 아직까지는 연구의 수가 많지 않으며, 대부분이 실험실 상황에서의 연구로 실제 경기 상황에서의 활용에 대한 연구가 부족한 실정 이다. 따라서 연구자들은 스포츠 경기력 향상을 위하여 지각기술훈련의 필요성을 검토하고, 그 효과에 대한 연구 방향을 포괄적으로 검토해 보는 시도가 필요하다. Perception refers to the process of acquiring all the information about the environment through various sensory organs such as the visual, auditory, tactile, and olfactory senses and integrating and interpreting the information transmitted to the brain. The ability to use these perceptions efficiently is called perceptual skill, and perceptual skill is an important factor for improving performance in the field of sports. As a result, many researchers have developed various perceptual training programs to maximize these perceptual skills while they have also progressed on attempting to verify their effects. The perceptual skill training introduced in this study is a training method that focuses on visual perception and is a training method that is applied in the United States and Europe. to improve sports performance. As a result of carrying out the perceptual skills training based on the kicker’s important clue (the kicker’s hip - the angle of the body and foot before kicking) to the goalkeeper in the situation of a soccer penalty kick improved the ability of predicting the direction of the ball while even in tennis, carrying out the perceptual skills training based on the server’s important clue (position, ball, racket) improved the accuracy of the ability to predict in the direction of serve. Recently, there have been numerous research studies that were carried out on such perceptual skills training, but the number of studies conducted are insufficient, especially in Korea where research studies on perceptual training seem to be in a relatively neglected state. In addition, extensive studies need to be carried out to investigate whether the improvement of perceptual skills in the laboratory situation can be transitioned to an actual performance situation. Therefore, in order to elevate sports performance, researchers need to examine the perceptual training program’s extent of necessity as well as the research direction regarding its effects.

      • 한방치료로 호전된 산후풍 환자의 치험 2례

        Purpose: This paper is aimed to report the effects of oriental medicine on general pain after childbirth Methods: Two patients, 35 years old and 33 years old, who had a general pain after childbirth, were enrolled in this study. They received oriental medicine for several months. During the treatments, we gave them Gamikunguitang(加味芎歸湯) 2 times, each for 3 weeks. we check changes of symptoms. Results: After the oriental medicine treatments, symptoms of general pain after childbirth and other symptoms were decreased or disappeared. Conclusion: This clinical cases indicate that Gamikunguitang(加味芎歸湯) is effective in treatment of the general pain after childbirth progress and relapse of symptoms. More linical data and studies are requested for the treatment of general pain after childbirth.

        플라즈마 산화와 암모니아 SCR 복합탈질공정의 엔진적용 연구

        The technique of NH₃ SCR (selective catalytic reduction) assisted by plasma oxidation has been applied to a 2,000 cc diesel engine. The present combined deNOx process consists of two steps. The first step is that about 50% of emitted NO from the engine is oxidized to NO₂ in a plasma oxidation process. The second step is that NO and NO₂ are simultaneously reduced to N₂ in the NH₃ SCR process. The engine test results showed that the deNOx rates of the present combined process are higher than those of conventional SCR process by 20%. Such a high performance of the combined process is noticeable especially, when the exhaust temperature are relatively low, i.e., 170-220℃. To provide a feasibility of the present technique the effects of operating conditions, such as an electrical input energy, an exhaust gas temperature, an initial NO concentration, and the amount of hydrocarbon addition, were discussed.
