The final purpose of this study is to develop noise abatement procedures for minimizing the environmental impacts caused by aircraft noise in the vicinity of Gimpo Int'l Airport, and to establish appropriate noise limits and monitoring system. The results of study was suggests for more detail the crucial factors which one is reference noise level, $L_{MAX}=88 dB(A)$ at 6.5 km after take-off, and second one is to installation the additional three(3) noise monitoring system on both side of runway.
도로변 방음대책 수립시 합리적인 소음규정 적용에 대한 연구

The road traffic noise has emerged major noise as the overcrowding of the urban population and the explosion of car storage capacity. There are limits for establishing the measures to meet noise standard because of the increase of high-rise building and insufficient distance between residential areas and road in urban center areas. Therefore, this study analyze the problem of the application of national road noise standard, and present the alternatives to achieve environmental standards in conjunction with the soundproofing measures. To reduce the population ratio exposed to road noise on seoul motorway, we suggest some action plane are as follows: ⅰ) Roadside noise standard of nighttime beside daytime is the first noise reduction goals ⅱ) Noise standard of Noise and vibration control act is priority in case of existing area ⅲ) Noise standard of basic environmental policy act is priority in case of new area.

The monitoring efficiency of the aircraft noise monitoring stations is decided to the reference noise level and the infringement of each monitoring stations. We calcurates the monitoring efficiency of three noise monitoring station among twelve in the vicinity of Gimpo Int'l Airport. As a result, the monitoring efficiency shows that the noise monitoring stations No#3, No#5 and No#6 are 14.3%, 18.5% and 29.3% respectively, Among them No#6 staion looks higher efficiency than another two stations because of underneath the flight trackas.

A study on environmental noise hasnt fully researched yet. As society has developed and the quality of life has improved, people started to show a concern about an environmental noise. To ensure a economic feasibility of countermeasures of noise, it is necessary to apply a cost-benefit analysis on choosing optimum measurements. In this study, we addressed the estimation method of the environmental noise value and several domestic and oversea case studies. We also estimate economic value of noise reduction level which is gained from applying noise reduction measurements.
