        The closed expansion tank is installed in the pipe system which supplies heating and cooling water to the building. It prevents the pipe from corrosion or failure by completely sealing the pipe and stopping the airflow within the pipe. Also, the closed expansion tank gives stability to the piping system and solves the cool-down problems caused by air locking. However, after using the closed expansion tank for a long period, bladder damage appears due to accumulated fatigue and stress from inside of the pipe because of temperature change in the system water. This problem can cause serious piping system failure. In this paper, life test equipment of 2 sets expansion tank was designed through the field condition. And also, the shape parameters and life analysis results of the closed expansion tank which based on the life test data were suggested.

        산업용 서보모터의 통계적 가설검정을 이용한 모수 추정

        Purpose: In recent years, the drone industry has emergedas a future growth engine. Servomotor malfunction is one of the causes of falls during drone flight. In this paper, we address the causes of servomotor failure and verify the reliability of commercially available drones. Methods: The software application Minitab (Minitab, LLC) was used to select the lifetime distribution for servomotor life data analysis. The validity of the parameter estimate was verified using the statistical hypothesis test of the data corresponding to each test condition, and the guaranteed life was determined. Results: The shape parameter and the scale parameter of the servomotor were estimated to be 1.49 and 93.574 cycles, respectively, and the servomotor lifespan was estimated to be 117,602 cycles at the lower 95% confidence limit. This result implies that the product remains reliable for a period shorter than the warranty period. Conclusion: The life tests of servomotors widely used in the industry revealed that the reliability of the products is poorer than expected. In particular, as the demand for drones increases, product reliability will become a very important factor. It is expected that the results of this study will be useful to manufacturers and users.

        국내 남부권역 주요 수계 농수로의 어류 군집 특성

        본 연구는 국내 주요 수계 중 만경강, 섬진강, 남해권 수계, 탐진강, 영산강, 동진강과 연결된 농수로 어류의 종 조성과 어류 길드 특성, 군집 특성을 분석하였다. 2017년 9월부터 2018년 8월까지 4회에 걸쳐 현지 조사를 시행한 결과, 어류는 농수로에서 6목 11과 53종 3,633개체가 출현하였고 본류에서 9목 15과 57종 7,108개체가 출현했다. 농수로의 우점종과 아우점종은 칼납자루(Tanakia koreensis)와 납자루(T. lanceolata)로 나타났으며, 납자루아과의 어종이 우점하는 지점이 10지점 중 6지점으로 나타났다. 이는 담수성 이매패류의 서식에 기인한다고 사료된다. 그리고 환경부 지정 멸종위기 야생생물 I급 임실납자루(T. somjinensis)가 섬진강 수계의 농수로에서 출현했고, 멸종위기 야생생물 II급 큰줄납자루(Acheilognathus majusculus)와 꺽저기(Coreoperca kawamebari)가 각각 섬진강 수계, 섬진강과 탐진강 수계의 농수로에서 출현했다. 지점별로 어류 길드 분석 결과, 대체로 농수로가 본류보다 낮은 민감종의 비율을 나타냈다. 군집 분석 결과 하상 구조가 복잡하게 나타난 지점에서 비교적 안정적인 군집을 보였으며, 환경적 변수에 따른 분석 결과 하상 구조가 복잡한 농수로 그룹이 높은 다양도 지수와 낮은 우점도 지수를 나타냈다. 결과적으로 본 연구는 농수로의 어류 서식 특성을 나타내고, 향후 연구와 관리의 필요성을 제시했다. The objective of our study was to analyze the distribution and composition of fish species and their community characteristics in agricultural waterways in the six water systems-Mankyung River, Seomjin River, Namhae Region, Tamjin River, Yeongsan River, and Dongjin River-during 2017-2018. Little is known about the distributions and community characteristics of the aquatic biota of agricultural waterways in Korea, even if the water bodies have important roles as spawning areas or habitats for fish. In this study, we identified 3,633 fish individuals in the waterways, belonging to 53 species, eleven families, and six orders (dominant species: Tanakia koreensis, T. lanceolate) and 7,108 fish individuals in the main rivers, belonging to 57 species, fifteen families, and nine orders. Moreover, three endangered wildlife (designated by the Ministry of Environment, Korea)-T. somjinensis, Acheilognathus majusculus and Coreoperca kawamebari-were found in the waterways. By fish guild analysis, we found that many waterways had a lower proportion of sensitive species and a higher proportion of omnivore species than those of the main rivers, which indicates a feature of a disturbed environment. In addition, by grouping with environmental variables, we found the group of waterways with high substrate complexity had a higher diversity index (Shannon index) and a lower dominance index (Simpson index) than that of simple substrate complexity. Overall, our study represents the characteristics of fish habitats in agricultural waterways and suggests the need to manage them and study further.

        서해안 독립 하천 대천천에서 납자루 Tanakia lanceolata (♀)와 한강납줄개 Rhodeus pseudosericeus (♂)의 자연 속간잡종 출현

        납자루 Tanakia lanceolata와 한강납줄개 Rhodeus pseudosericeus간의 속간잡종으로 추정되는 수컷 1개체를 서해안 독립 하천인 보령 대천천에서 채집하였다. 해당 속간잡종 개체의 명확한 기원을 판별하기 위하여 형태학적 및 분자계통학적 분석을 수행하였다. 형태학적 분석 결과, 속간잡종 개체의 등지느러미 앞쪽 상단과 뒷지느러미 가장자리의 색상, 등과 배 쪽 색상 등은 납자루의 형태적 특징을 따랐으며, 미병부 중앙에 파란색 체측종대가 존재하는 점, 측선이 불완전한 점, 입수염이 없는 점 등은 한강납줄개의 형태적 특징을 따랐다. 또한, 미토콘드리아 DNA의 cytb 유전자 분석 결과, 속간잡종 개체는 납자루와 99.82~100%의 염기서열 유사도를 나타내어, 모계 종은 납자루로 판단되었다. 핵 DNA의 rag1 유전자 분석 결과, 속간잡종 개체는 납자루와 한강납줄개 간의 단일염기다형성 부위 (38 bp)를 모두 반영하는 double peaks 양상을 나타내어, 부계 종은 한강납줄개로 판단되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 분석한 납자루아과 자연잡종 추정 개체는 암컷 납자루와 수컷 한강납줄개 간의 속간잡종으로 판명되었다. A male, presumed to be an intergeneric hybrid between Tanakia lanceolata and Rhodeus pseudosericeus, was collected in the Boryeong Daecheoncheon Stream flowing into the Yellow Sea in the Republic of Korea. Morphological and molecular phylogenetic analyses were performed to discriminate the definite origin of the estimated natural hybrid. As a result of the morphological analysis, the color of the dorsal and anal fin rays edges of the natural hybrid individual, the upper and lower body colors followed the morphological characteristics of T. lanceolata, and that blue longitudinal stripe in the center of the caudal peduncle, the incomplete lateral line, and the barbels absent followed the morphological characteristics of R. pseudosericeus. In addition, as a result of the cytochrome b (cytb) gene analysis of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), the natural hybrid showed a nucleotide sequence similarity of 99.82 to 100% with T. lanceolata, and the maternal species was identified as T. lanceolata. As a result of the recombination activating gene 1 (rag1) gene analysis of nuclear DNA (nDNA), the natural hybrid showed double peaks pattern reflecting both the single nucleotide polymorphism sites (38 bp) between T. lanceolata and R. pseudosericeus, and the paternal species was identified as R. pseudosericeus. Therefore, a natural hybrid estimated male of Acheilognathinae analyzed in this study was found to be an intergeneric hybrid between a female T. lanceolata and a male R. pseudosericeus.

        The brazed plate heat exchanger is lightweight but has excellent heat transfer performance. So, it has been used in various industries as well as refrigeration and air conditioning. Its failure effects on performance and life of the overall system which it is used. Especially, the life is very important because it is directly related to the economical problem of companies. In normal condition, the life test time is generally so long. This paper presents the accelerated stress factors needed for performance of acceleration life test, which are confirmed through failure mode analysis of brazed plate heat exchanger, and introduces the optimal acceleration model. And, the accelerated life test is performed in accordance with the proper test plan using the stress factors such as pressure and temperature. Reliability measures such as MTTF and B10 life for the brazed plate heat exchanger is estimated by statistical analysis of the test data.

        떡납줄갱이 Rhodeus notatus와 흰줄납줄개 R. ocellatus의 자연 종간잡종에 관한 연구

        떡납줄갱이 Rhodeus notatus와 흰줄납줄개 R. ocellatus 간의 자연 잡종으로 추정되는 3개체를 충청남도 아산시 좌부동 곡교천의 지류인 온양천 일대에서 채집하였으며, 이들의 부모종을 명확히 판별하기 위하여 형태학적 및 분자계통학적 분석을 수행하였다. 자연 잡종 3개체의 체색은 등 쪽이 연한 녹갈색으로 떡납줄갱이의 연한 갈색과 흰줄납줄개의 진한 녹갈색의 중간 색상이었고, 등지느러미 앞쪽 상단 및 뒷지느러미 바깥 가장자리에 붉은색을 나타내는 면적은 떡납줄갱이와 흰줄납줄개 간의 중간 크기로 나타나 전반적으로 부모종 간의 중간형질을 나타냈다. 계측 및 계수형질의 경우, 자연 잡종은 체장에 대한 가슴지느러미 기점거리의 비, 뒷지느러미 기점거리의 비와 두장에 대한 문장의 비, 양안 간격의 비, 미병장의 비, 미병고의 비 그리고 종렬비늘수 등에서 이들의 고유한 형질이 나타난 것으로 분석되었다. 핵 DNA의 rag1 유전자 영역에서 자연 잡종 3개체는 떡납줄갱이와 흰줄납줄개 간의 단일염기다형성 부위를 모두 반영하는 것으로 분석되었으며, 미토콘드리아 DNA의 cytb 유전자 영역을 이용한 분자계통도에서는 떡납줄갱이와 동일한 유전적 clade를 형성하였다. 따라서, 본 연구에서 분석한 자연 잡종 추정 개체들은 암컷 떡납줄갱이와 수컷 흰줄납줄개 간의 종간 잡종으로 판별되었다. Three specimens, presumed to be natural hybrids between Rhodeus notatus and R. ocellatus, were collected from Onyangcheon Stream area, Jwabu-dong, Asan-si, Chungcheongnamdo, the Republic of Korea, and morphological and phylogenetic analyses were performed to clearly identify their parent species. The body color of the three natural hybrids was light greenish-brown on dorsal side, and the size of red area on the upper front of the dorsal fin and the outer margin of the anal fin generally showed intermediate characters between the parent species, R. notatus and R. ocellatus. Among the measurement and meristic characters, the ratio of prepectoral length and preanal length in the standard length, and the ratio of snout length, interorbital width, length of caudal peduncle and depth of caudal peduncle in the head length, and the number of longitudinal row scales were analyzed as the unique characters of natural hybrids. In the rag1 gene of nuclear DNA, the three natural hybrids were analyzed to be reflected all the single nucleotide polymorphism sites between R. notatus and R. ocellatus, and in the phylogenetic tree using the cytb gene of mitochondrial DNA, they formed the same genetic clade as R. notatus. Therefore, three specimens, presumed to be natural hybrids analyzed in this study were identified as interspecific hybrids between female R. notatus and male R. ocellatus.

        The radiator emits high-temperature heat generated in the engine. The aluminum radiator that is light-weighted and has an excellent heat transfer is used for high efficiency engines. The aluminum radiator was introduced in the construction equipment in the late 2000s, and since then the reliability of radiator has been improved by the efforts of manufacturers. The radiator is exposed to a high temperature when the engine is running and to a low temperature when the engine stops. The radiator is failed by the fatigue due to the cyclic expansion and contraction. In this paper, we estimate a reliability parameter for the radiator by performing the life test with the thermal shock by alternatively circulating high temperature fluid and low temperature fluid directly to the radiator. And the durability of the improved radiator is evaluated using a Weibayes analysis.

        한국 고유종 미유기 (Silurus microdorsalis Mori, 1936)의 난 발생 및 자치어 형태발달

        The early life history of Silurus microdorsalis living in Jahocheon Stream was studied by observing egg and morphological development. Live fish were captured in June 2018, then reared in a circulating filtration system under a 14L : 10D photoperiod with a water temperature of 18℃. To artificially induce spawning, females were injected with 0.5 mL of Ovaprim (Syndel, Nanaimo, BC, Canada) per kg of body weight, and males were injected with 10,000 IU/kg body weight of human chorionic gonadotropin. Approximately 15 h later, eggs were artificially inseminated by the dry method. Mature eggs were light pale yellow, which separated them from immature eggs. Fertilized eggs were 2.16±0.06 mm (n=8) in diameter and fully hatched at 181 h after fertilization. The fertilization rate was 63.1±2.2%, and 10.0±3.7% of the embryos were malformed at 18℃. The rates of development were 181 h at 18℃, 109 h at 21℃, and 76 h at 24℃. The larval size immediately after hatching was 4.64±0.22 mm (n=8), and the larvae displayed negative phototaxis at 1 day after hatching. The total larval length on 7 days after hatching was 12.47±0.53 mm, with 25~30 basal anal fin rays and 14~16 basal caudal fin rays observed. The total larval length was 14.13±0.51 mm on 9 days after hatching, and approximately 90% of the black endoplasmic reticulum was deposited on the head and body. The dorsal fin had formed, and a single basal body was observed. On 15 days after hatching, the total larval length was 16.69±0.31 mm; the number of basal caudal fin rays (18 poles) was an integer because 2 dorsal fin basal rays and 60~63 anal fin basal rays were observed. The total larval length was 28.96±1.10 mm on 50 days after hatching; the numbers of caudal fins (n=18), dorsal fins (n=3), pectoral fins (n=11), and anal fin basal rays (n=67~73) were integers.
