        「가고 싶은 섬」의 갯벌과 토양환경 특성 (Ⅱ) - 손죽도, 장도, 생일도, 기점·소악도를 중심으로 -

        Jeollanam-do has implemented the brand policy to create “Islands that people hope to visit” by cultivating marine resources such as islands. This study investigated the characteristics of the natural environment in four islands Island that people hope to visit”. The contents of germanium and selenium, which are trace minerals in the soils and tidal flat, were examined and the relationship between the content of crops and sea foods was investigated. The study also investigated the artificial influence in soil of islands. This study was mainly performed in Yeosu Sonjukdo, Boseong Jangdo, Wando Saengildo and Shinan Gijeom·Soakdo. As studied materials, germanium and selenium were analyzed by ICP/MS using hydrogen generation method. The artificial pollution of soil was analyzed by soil contamination process test standards. The content of germanium was 0.361 ∼ 2.420 mg/kg in the soils and tidal flats of “Islands that people hope to visit” and the highest concentration was observed in Yeosu Sonjukdo at 2.097 mg/kg in soils and 1.608 mg/kg in tidal flats, on average. The germanium content of crops and sea foods was the highest at 34.904 ㎍/kg in Jangdo Tegillarca granosa. The content of selenium was 0.013 ∼ 0.941 mg/kg in the “Islands that people hope to visit” area, the highest average concentration of soils was 0.409 mg/kg in Gijeom·Soakdo and the highest average concentration of tidal flats was 0.081 mg/kg in Jangdo. The contents of selenium in crops and sea foods were detected at 720.50 ㎍/kg in Tegillarca granosa of Jangdo, and 582.69 ㎍/kg in small octopus of Gijeom·Soakdo, and 396.11 ㎍/kg in small octopus of Jangdo. The content of Tegillarca granosa and small octopus showed very high concentration, but were found to be safe because they did not exceed adults appropriate intake per day. The artificial pollution in soil of Islands that people hope to visit” showed that the harmful substances were detected below the background concentration of the soil, and the island area showed very clean soil condition that has not yet been contaminated.

        지리산 구례지역 토양 중 게르마늄(Ge) 분포 특성

        본 연구는 지리산 구례지역 토양 중 게르마늄 분포특성을 조사하기 위해 실시하였다. 지리산 구례지역 지하수에 게르마늄이 함유되어 있다는 보고에 의해 구례지역 토양과 농산물의 게르마늄 함량을 분석하였다. 그리고 토양 중에 중금속이 일정량 존재하므로 게르마늄과의 관계를 확인하기 위해 토양오염실태조사지침에 근거하여 지목별 항목을 조사하였다. 또한 이를 토대로 구례지역 토양오염도를 평가하였다. 지리산 구례지역 토양에서 게르마늄 함량은 1.032 ∼ 1.979 ㎎/kg으로 나타났다. 농산물의 게르마늄 성분은 0.943 ∼ 19.518 ㎍/kg으로 분석되었으며, 쑥부쟁이 나물과 쌀에서 과일류 보다 상대적으로 높은 농도를 보였다. 토양오염실태조사 지침의 지목별 항목 분석결과 Cd, Cr<sup>6+</sup>, Hg, CN, 유기인은 검출되지 않았으며, pH의 평균이 5.9, Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, As는 각각의 평균이 19.3, 14.3, 66.1, 19.7, 5.44 ㎎/kg 이었다. 결과적으로 Ni를 제외한 모든 항목이 전국 평균농도 이하로 나타나 지리산 토양은 오염되지 않은 청정한 토양으로 평가된다. 토양 중 게르마늄과 유해중금속의 상관관계 분석 결과는 유의성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. This study was performed to investigate characteristics of Ge distribution in Jirisan Gurye area. Content of Ge in the soil and crops was analyzed since several previous reports said that Ge was contained in the ground water from the area. The relationship between heavy metals and Ge was identified by analyzing the heavy metal contents and the concentration of Ge, simultaneously. The analysis was based on Soil Contamination Actual Condition Survey Guideline. The content of Ge in Jirisan Gurye soil was 1.032∼1.979 mg/kg. The Ge content in crops was verified to 0.943∼19.518 ㎍/kg. It was shown that higher concentration was obtained in aster and rice than in fruits. As a result of analyzing the soil samples, Hg, Cd, Cr<sup>6+</sup>, CN, organic phosphorus were not detected and each average concentration of Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, and As was 19.3, 14.3, 66.1, 19.7, 7.45 mg/kg. The results showed that heavy metal contents are much less than the national average concentration except Ni showing the soil of Jirisan is not contaminated with heavy metals. It is shown that there is no correlation between Ge and harmful heavy metal.

        도시 환경소음 특성조사를 통한 생활환경 개선

        In modern society, urban noise problems are becoming incrreasingly serious due to industrialization and urbanization. The government is operating a passive environmental noise measurement network in accordance with the “Environmental Noise Measurement Network Operation Guidelines” to determine the noise status. Since the noise sources are diversified due to urbanization and each of them has specific characteristics, it is necessary to observe the perceived noise level through frequency and Traffic Noise Index (TNI) analysis, as well as quantitative evaluation such as environmental noise verification of the source. In this study, noise levels were measured a total of six times during the day and night semiannually in Gwangyang and Suncheon cities in Jeollanam-do, and frequency and TNI analysis was conducted for the areas that exceeded the standards. The results are as follows. Gwangyang City showed an excess rate of 0.8 to 14.3% compared to the noise standard in school areas and general residential areas, and showed high noise levels in the high-frequency area near 1 kHz due to the influence of traffic. Among roadside points in school areas and general residential areas, 83.3% of all points showed TNI index exceeding 74. Suncheon City showed an exceedance rate of 2.7 to 17.8% in green areas, and showed high noise levels at high frequencies around 1 kHz and around 250 Hz due to the influence of vehicles and motorcycles. Additionally, the TNI index of green areas exceeded 74 in all time zones except midnight. We expect that the results of this study can be used as basic data for improving measurement network operation and establishing noise reduction measures in the future.

        「가고 싶은 섬」의 갯벌과 토양환경 특성

This study investigated the characteristics of the natural environment in six islands Island that people hope to visit”. The contents of germanium and selenium, which are trace minerals in the soils and mudflats, were examined and the relationship between the content of crops and sea foods was investigated. And it investigated the artificial influence in soil of islands. The subjects of this study were performed in Yeosu Nangdo, Goheung Yeonhongdo, Gangjin Gaudo, Jindo Gwanmaedo, Wando Soando and Shinan Banwol·Bakjido. Germanium and selenium were analyzed by ICP/MS using hydrogen generation method. The artificial pollution of soil was analyzed by soil contamination process test standards. The content of germanium was (0.016 ∼ 2.967) mg/kg in the soils and mudflats of “Islands that people hope to visit” and highest concentration was observed in Goheung Yeonhongdo at 2.400 mg/kg in soils average and 1.882 mg/kg in mudflats average. The germanium content of crops and sea foods was the highest at 20.000 μg/kg in Banwol·Bakjido small octopus. The content of selenium was (0.000 ∼ 0.621) mg/kg in the “Islands that people hope to visit” area, the highest average concentration of soils was 0.463 mg/kg in the Gwanmaedo and the highest average concentration of mudflats was 0.191 mg/kg in the soando. The contents of selenium in crops and sea foods were detected 1,100.000 μg/kg in small octopus of Banwol·Bakjido, and 313.500 μg/kg in clam of Gaudo, and 66.400 μ g/kg in abalone of Soando. The content of small octopus and clam showed very highconcentration, but were found to be safe because they did not exceed the adults appropriate intake per day. The artificial pollution in soil of Islands that people hope to visit” showed that the harmful substances were detected below the background concentration of the soil, and the island area showed very clean soil condition that was not contaminated yet.

        생물반응기를 도입한 돈분뇨의 생물학적 처리공정에서 악취발생 특성 및 미생물동정에 관한 연구

        유기성폐수 처리공정에서 악취발생농도가 높을 것으로 예상되는 양돈분뇨 처리공정에 pellet과 stone을 충진한 생물반응기를 도입하고 대조시설로서 생물반응기를 도입하지 않는 활성슬러지법 공정과 비교하여 반응조 운전상태, 처리수질, 악취발생농도를 측정하였다. 거품발생, 처리수 투시도 등에서 생물반응기를 도입한 반응조가 훨씬 안정적인 모습을 보였으며 BOD 제거효율도 우수하였다. 반면, 총질소(T-N), 총인(T-P) 제거효율은 두 개의 반응조가 큰 차이를 보이지 않아 방류수수질기준을 만족시키기 위해서는 별도의 고도처리를 하여야 할 것으로 나타났다. 악취는 암모니아성 질소, 암모니아 농도, 복합악취를 기준으로 살펴본 결과 생물반응기를 도입한 공정이 활성슬러지 공정보다 적게는 4배에서 최대 24배 이상 낮게나타나 악취원인물질 발생이 적은 것으로 나타났다. 황화수소, 메틸머캅탄, 디메틸설파이드, 디메틸디설파이드 농도는 각각의 반응조 모두 검출되지 않거나 5 ppb에 불과하였으며 두 반응조의 차이 또한 크지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 생물반응기 공정에서는 주로 Bacillus sp./ Pseudomonas sp. 종이 주를 이루고 활성슬러지 공정에서는 Bacterium sp. Chryseobacterium sp. 종이주를 이루었다. A bioreactor filling with pellets and stones was equipped to the swine manure treatment system, which is expected to emit high concentration of odor in the process of the organic wastewater treatment system, and in comparison with the activated sludge process as the control process, the reactor operation state, treatment water quality and odor emission concentration were measured. The reactor using the bioreactor proved to be much more stable in the bubble condition, treatment water transparency, etc, and BOD removal efficiency was also much better. The removal efficiency of T-N and T-P, however, showed little difference in the two reactors. Odor, as a result of examining NH₃-N, NH₃ concentratio, and complex odor, was 4 times to 24 times less emitted in the system using bioreactor than in the activated sludge system. H₂S, methyl mercaptan, dimethyl sulfide, and dimethyl disulfide were not found or were found in only 5 ppbs in each reactor and showed little difference between the two reactors. In the bioreactor process, Bacillus sp./ Pseudomonas sp. species were mainly found and in the activated sludge process, acterium sp. Chryseobacterium sp. species were mainly found.

        숲속 공기와 주변 우점수목 정유의 모노테르펜류 분포 비교

        The concentration of terpene (18 species) was measured from spring to fall in ambient air and essential oil at three different forests located in Jeollanamdo province. Sampling was conducted at 4-hour-interval a day of each season. In the ambient air, α-pinene, β-pinene and 2-carene were the most abundant compounds throughout the sampling periods and areas. The highest three-season average concentration of total terpene was 2,597 pptv at Jeamsan(Mt.) in Boseong which was predominantly populated by Pinaceae. The seasonal averages were observed to peak during spring with their max at Palyeongsan(Mt.) in Goheung and Jeamsan(Mt.) in Boseong, and during fall at Woodland in Jangheung. Most of terpenes had diurnal variations with higher concentrations during the daytime, and lower during the nighttime. However in essential oil, the highest annual average concentration of total terpene was 798 μg/dry-g at Goheung which was predominantly populated by Chamaecyparis obtusa. Also, the component proportion ratio showed different distribution between ambient air and essential oil. From the results of this study, we suggest that Chamaecyparis obtusa species is more useful, and younger tree is more economical than older one, and spring is the best season for lumbering in order to use essential oil.

        논문 : 전남지역 숲길의 모노테르펜류 농도와 공기질 특성

        본 연구는 숲속 환경대기에서 모노테르펜류(a-Pinene, camphene, sabinene, b-pinene, myrcene, terpinolene, limonene, 1,8-cineol, linalool, camphor)의 농도분포, 숲속 대기의 청정도 및 공기음이온 분포를 파악하기 위해 전남도내 5개 유명 숲을 대상으로 3 계절(봄, 여름, 가을) 동안 수행하였다. 4 시간 평균농도 기준으로 대나무가 우점하고 있는 죽녹원지점에서 b-pinene+myrcene이 958pptv, 우드랜드와 순천만에서 a-pinene(524pptv)과, limonene(445pptv) 이 각각 높은 농도로 나타났다. 계절별로는 우드랜드와 선암사는 봄, 죽녹원과 순천만은 여름에 가장 최고치를 보였다. 대기환경기준물질 농도는 환경정책기본법의 환경기준보다 매우 낮은 농도로 나타났다. 공기음이온은 지점별로 공기 1 mL당 최고 400~3,000개로 조사되었다. 모노테르펜과 공기음이온사이에 유의한 상관은 나타나지 않았다. Three-season field study was conducted to investigate the distribution of monoterpene (10) and air anion in ambient air at five forests. a-Pinene, camphene, sabinene, b-pinene, myrcene, terpinolene, limonene, 1,8-cineol, linalool, and camphor were quantified in the samples collected. The highest 4-hour mean concentration of total monoterpene were b-pinene+myrcene as 958pptv at Juknokwon dominated by bamboo and a-pinene (524pptv), limonene (445pptv) at Wood Land and Suncheon Bay, respectively. The seasonal means were observed to peak during spring with their maximum at Wood Land and Seonam Temple and during summer at Juknokwon and Suncheon Bay. The 24 hour concentration mean of atmosphere standards were found with much lower values than those by law. The highest concentrations of air anion were measured 400~3,000 ea·mL-1 through the sites. There is no significant correlation between the concentration of monoterpene and air anion.
