AMI-C 표준 Ⅵ와 연동을 위한 차량 CAN 게이트웨이 개발

Open Standard Telematics Platform is based on the AMI-C architecture, which is a standard for efficiently integrating multimedia devices into a vehicle. VI(Vehicle Interface), which is defined on the AMI-C standard, performs a role of a gateway in an AMI-C network. This controls and provides vehicle information to the AMI-C compatible devices which are in the AMI-C network by converting vehicle information in the network domain into a logical structure. An integrated VI structure has been developed to provide a VS(Vehicle Service) on a standard platform. To minimize the message loss problem due to the platform operation delay which is caused by the power supply in the case of operating a CAN network of a vehicle, an interworking structure with a CAN gateway to provide an efficient VI has been implemented. The efficiency has been verified using CANoe which is a vehicle-network simulation tool.

This paper investigates an automotive gateway for CAN-IDB 1394. In this paper, we first introduce most of present in-vehicle high-speed networking technologies. Then we introduce an overview of IDB-1394 specifications. After that, we describe the gateway hardware architecture of our proposed CAN-IDB 1394 gateway system. This work includes development of IDB-1394 standard communication driver and API library to design gateway software which support AMI-C Network Communication Model. In the later part of this paper, we will also discuss essential functions of gateways for the IDB-1394 backbone network and CAN-based in-vehicle network in detail. Result and summaries are provided in the last section.

Vehicles have been developed with the purpose of safety. A large number of sensors will be required in Advanced Safety Vehicle that provides more intelligent and automatic services in future ITS circumstances. Because current in-vehicle network must be changed to add new sensors, the numbers of sensors that can be added are restricted in current in-vehicle network. To manage the sensors more efficiently and to provide extensibility, we developed SCSN(Smart Car Sensor Network) which is an in-vehicle architecture and which includes gateway architecture based on AMI-C and OSGi standard. we have created SCSN testbed then deployed and optimized SCSN gateway. This paper introduces our research results about gateway architecture and features for SCSN to connect and handle effciently CAN sub-networks which are Power-train, Body comfort and extended Sensor Networks.

Today, commercial vehicle is composed of various electronic control units with the power-train and chassis networks. Each of vehicle models from vendors has heterogeneous diagnostics protocols to support many types of electronic control units. In the diagnostics development, such diversity of diagnostic technologies is more increased due to the requirements of new definitions specified for each vehicle model. It increases complexity of diagnostics, while decreases the re-usability of the existing diagnosis-related codes. As a result, development time and costs increased. To reduce aforementioned complexity and to improve re-usability of software, our study is focused on three kinds of the heterogeneous on-board diagnostic protocols which have been already applied to domestic commercial vehicles. In this paper, we propose new software architecture to integrate multiple diagnostic protocols for the ISO 15765 protocol. In addition, we developed light-weight conversion algorithms for resource-restricted embedded environments.
차량 시뮬레이터 기반의 IDB-1394 버스 인터페이스 평가 기술 연구

최근 차량 내 멀티미디어 기기들의 장착이 크게 늘어나고 지도, 카메라영상, HD급 비디오 컨텐츠 등의 고대역폭을 요구하는 대용량의 데이터를 실시간으로 전송하기 위한 고속의 차량 내 멀티미디어 네트워크의 기술의 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 가정용으로 사용중인 IEEE-1394 기술을 바탕으로 차량 내 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송하기 위해 개발된 IDB-1394 기반 차량 멀티미디어 버스 시스템의 성능 및 신뢰성을 평가하기 위해 차량 시뮬레이터 기반의 IDB-1394 버스 인터페이스 평가 기술 방안에 관한 연구를 수행하였다.

Recently, the increasing consumer demand for various multimedia applications in vehicle, MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport) technology has been extensively applied. MOST are optimized for in-vehicle multimedia services. In particular, multimedia stream data transmission such as audio and video in a MOST network technology is a key application areas. In this paper, for the design and implementation of audio stream application, as a first step , the main functions of NetServices API and management procedure of synchronous channels were analyzed in terms of application layer.

Vehicles have developed with an objective of safety, environment, and facility. In the current in-vehicle network, roughly four types of different networks are connected through gateways with the consideration of cost and efficiency by the property of control ECU, but the number of sensor node of this network frame is restricted. The number of sensor required by Advanced Safety Vehicle that provides more intelligent and automatic services, and the network frame in which the in-vehicle sensor data are maintained, managed, and manifested to provide the extensity of sensor. This paper propose a basic elements and functions of in-vehicle sensor network that can manage the in-vehicle sensors more efficiently, and a smart vehicle sensor network platform technique laying stress on gateway middleware software architecture based on AMI-C and OSGi standard to correspond with future ITS circumstances and automobile industry.

최근 대도시의 교통난 문제, 고유가 문제 등이 사회적인 이슈화 됨에 따라 도시철도 승객 수요는 매년 증가하고 있으나 도시철도에서는 대구지하철 화재사고나 지하철 승강장에서 승객추락사고와 같은 승객안전사고가 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 따라서, 정부나 지자체에서는 이러한 위험을 감시 하거나 초기에 대처하여 승객의 안전성을 확보하기 위한 방안으로 차량과 지상 간에 무선으로 다양한 종류의 영상, 음성, 감시/제어 신호와 같은 데이터들을 안정적으로 송수신할 수 있는 통합데이터 전송 시스템 기술 개발을 진행하고 있다. 그러나 현재 국내외적으로 이러한 철도 무선 통신 기술에 대한 성능 평가 방안에 대한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 차지상간 통합 데이터 무선 통신 시스템 기술의 표준 규격 및 성능 시험 기준을 마련하기 위한 기초 단계로 국내외 관련 연구 사례와 평가 방안 분석 및 도시 철도 환경 적합성을 고려하여 도출한 무선통신 시스템의 성능 평가를 위한 기준 파라미터와 방안을 제시한다. 제시된 평가 방안은 국내 및 국외에서의 도시철도 무선 통신 기술 경쟁력 제고와 통신 성능 검증의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 기초자료로서 향후 국내 철도 무선 통신 시스템 개발 업체들 간에 표준화된 규격을 마련하기 위해 매우 중요하다.
AMI-C 기반의 센서 네트워크 게이트웨이 플랫폼 구현

In the current vehicles, the number of sensor is increased, and the various in-vehicle networks exist together. So necessity of vehicle gateway for sensor network is appeared. In this paper, we propose the Sensor Network Gateway Platform. Proposed platform is based on AMI-C which is international standard for the least possible cost and development timeframe. And we propose the algorithm for sensor fail-safe. This algorithm estimate the lost sensing data to guarantee the vehicle service.
