A new probabilistic approach employing the Burr type XII distribution is proposed for pedestrian wind comfort assessment. The distribution model was tested through Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and chi-squared test based on measured data from Seoul, Incheon and Busan. According to the test. The Burr type 12 distribution produced better fit than widely used Weibull distribution. In estimating the exceedance probability of wind speed, the Weibull distribution tends to underestimate the exceedance probability while the Burr type 12 distribution gives overestimated result. Therefore, conservative results can be obtained by applying the Burr type 12 distribution to evaluation pedestrian wind comfort assessment.

최근 화석에너지 등의 무분별한 사용으로 인한 대기 중의 c o 2 증가는 지구온난화를 가속화시키고 있으며, 이는 기후변화를 비롯한 전 지구적 환경에 심각한 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 지구온난화에 따른 기후변화를 고려하여 난방도일 산정시 사용되는 통계용 기상자료를 최근의 10년간의 값을 사용할 것을 제안하였다. 최근 10년간의 일평균기온을 사용하여 국내 주요 64개 지역을 대상으로 난방도일을 산정하고, 난방도일 등분포선도 작성 및 난방도일에 따른 지역 구분을 실시하였다. 검토 결과,최근 10년간의 기상자료를 활용한 난방도일은 기존의 값에 비하여 평균 10% 이상 감소하였으며,기존의 난방도일을 사용할 때 난방장치의 용량 및 난방비를 10% 가까이 과다하게 책정할 위험이 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Stroke destroys neurons and their connections leading to focal neurological deficits. Although limited, many patients exhibit a certain degree of spontaneous functional recovery. Structural remodeling of the intracortical axonal connections is implicated in the reorganization of cortical motor representation maps, which is considered to be an underlying mechanism of the improvement in motor function. Therefore, an accurate assessment of intracortical axonal plasticity would be necessary to develop strategies to facilitate functional recovery following a stroke. The present study developed a machine learning-assisted image analysis tool based on multi-voxel pattern analysis in fMRI imaging. Intracortical axons originating from the rostral forelimb area (RFA) were anterogradely traced using biotinylated dextran amine (BDA) following a photothrombotic stroke in the mouse motor cortex. BDA-traced axons were visualized in tangentially sectioned cortical tissues, digitally marked, and converted to pixelated axon density maps. Application of the machine learning algorithm enabled sensitive comparison of the quantitative differences and the precise spatial mapping of the post-stroke axonal reorganization even in the regions with dense axonal projections. Using this method, we observed a substantial extent of the axonal sprouting from the RFA to the premotor cortex and the peri-infarct region caudal to the RFA. Therefore, the machine learningassisted quantitative axonal mapping developed in this study can be utilized to discover intracortical axonal plasticity that may mediate functional restoration following stroke.
구강암 환자의 경부 림프절 전이 및 림프절 피막 외 침범과 관련된 임상병리적 인자에 대한 고찰

Background/Objectives: Extra-nodal extension (ENE) is one of the strongest prognosticators in oral cancers. Here we tried to evaluate clinicopathological factors associated with the presence of ENE. Materials & Methods: We retrospectively analyzed clinical information of 120 patients who diagnosed with oral cancer and received curative surgery at our hospital from Mar 2012 to Apr 2020. We comparatively analyzed clinicopathological factors associated with the presence of lymph node (LN) metastasis and ENE, respectively. Results: Variable factors of primary tumor characteristics such as lymphovascular invasion, perineural invasion, largest diameter of tumor, depth of invasion and maximum standardized uptake value were significantly associated with the presence of cervical LN metastasis. The largest diameter of tumor was statistically significant also in multivariate analysis for predicting the LN metastasis. Meanwhile, the association between primary tumor characteristics and the presence of ENE were not statistically significant except the primary tumor size. Importantly, factors associated with LN characteristics including the maximum diameter and number of metastatic LNs were significantly associated with ENE. Conclusion: In this study, several factors affecting cervical LN metastasis and ENE in oral cancer patients were identified. The ENE seems to be influenced by the status of the metastatic LNs, such as the number of metastatic LNs, rather than the characteristics of the primary tumor itself.
단보 : 2007~2014년 제주지역 넙치(Paralichthys olivaceus) 양식장의 스쿠티카증 발생 동향 조사

2007년부터 2014년까지 제주지역 넙치 양식장의 스쿠티카증 발생동향을 조사하였다. 그 결과 질병진단을 위해 채집된 시료 중 23.8~36.4%가 스쿠티카증으로 진단되었으며, 성장단계별 스쿠티카증 발생비율 조사 결과에서는 10㎝~20㎝ 크기의 넙치가 스쿠티카증 확인 시료 전체의 50.5%로 확인되어 가장 높은 비율을 나타내었다. Occurrence of Scuticociliatosis in olive flounder farm of Jeju was monitored from 2007 to 2014. As a result, 23.8~36.4% of referred samples were diagnosed as Scuticociliatosis. Based on fish size, the highest incidence (50.5%) was found in fish with size of 10~20 cm.
유입수의 기계적 여과 후 자외선 살균에 의한 넙치 치어의 질병 저감 사례 연구

본 연구는 기계적 여과 후 자외선 살균처리한 양식장 유입수의 살균효율과 넙치 치어의 질병저감 효과를 평가하였다. 유입해수의 살균효율은 99.27%로 조사되었고, 기계적 여과 및 UV 살균처리 해수로 4개월 동안 사육한 넙치 치어는 대조구에 비하여 20∼30%의 폐사율 저감효과가 관찰되었다. This study was performed to determine the disinfection efficacy of influent seawater by application of mechanical filtration and UV disinfection system (MFUVDS) in decreasing disease outbreak of juvenile olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus). Bacterial disinfection rate of influent seawater following the MFUVDS application was 99.27%. Mortalities of the juvenile reared for 4 months were 20~30% lower than those of the control (25.8%~34.9%).
화학증착법을 이용한 기상에서의 세라믹 초미분 제조 및 그 특성에 관한 연구

TiO₂SnO₂, AI₂O₃, AIN, AI₄C₃와 같은 세라믹 미분말을 화학증착법을 이용한 기상에서 합성하였다. TiO₂와 SnO₂는 수직형 열반응 장치안에서 TiCI₄와 SnCI₄의 염화물 원료로부터 제조되었으며 Al₂O₃와 AIN은 삼메틸알루미늄의 금속유기 화합물로부터 제조되었다. 입자의 크기, 형상, 응집과 같은 분말들의 특성을 화학증착변수와 반응계의 변화에 따라 조사하였다. Fine ceramic powders such as TiO₂SnO₂, AI₂O₃, AIN, AI₄and C₃were synthesized by gas phase reactions using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technique. TiO₂and SnO₂were produced from choride sources of TiCI₄and SnCI₄in a vertical thermal reactor, whereas Al₂O₃and AIN from metal-organic source of trimethylaluminum. Those powder characteristics such as particle size, shape, and agglomeration were investigated with CVD variables and reaction systems.
