해상중량물운송시 이후적된 질적 파손에 관한 실험적 연구

The Internation Maritime Organization (IMO) has required that ships other than cellular-ships which carry cargo units and other entities should be provided with a cargo securing manual. A number of serious accidents has resulted from improper stowage and insufficient securing of heavy cargo. The cargo claims caused by the accidents stated above not only reduce the number of shippers but also reduce their benefits. The following four basic safe items should be considered carefully in the carriage by sea in case of two tiers loading of heavy cargoes packed with wooden case if it is a general cargo ship. a) Safe stowing place b) Safe lashing c) Protecting crushing goods d) Adequate dunnage. All operators of cargoes must be reminded that only the proper stowge and securing of heavy cargos can prevent from the occurrence of such accidents in the future. This paper intends to analyze the unigue damage mechanism for two tiers loading of heavy cargoes on the general cargo ships encountered in the rough sea, and suggest the countermeusere to prevent the identical accidents in the future.

Information literacy has been defined as "the ability to access, evaluate, and use information from a variety of sources." Recently, information literacy has become a hot topic in Korean education circles and school library fields, but few publications describe how to assess information literacy skills. This study is the first stage to develop a measurable assessment tool of the information literacy skills of korean high school students. In this paper, related projects, curricular models, and rubrics are reviewed and an assessment tool is suggested. This tool will be field-tested and revised on the results in the near future. 이 연구는 고등학생의 정보활용능력 평가를 위한 루브릭과 평가지 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 관련 문헌을 조사하여 평가 도구 개발의 이론과 과정을 고찰하였고, 대학 단위, 지역 전문대학 단위, 주정부 단위, 고등학교 학군 단위에서 개발한 미국의 평가 도구를 분석하여 우리 고등학생의 정보활용 능력 평가 도구를 제시하였다.

본 연구는 한국 학교교육 현장에 체계적으로 정착하지 못한 정보활용 교육의 기반을 확보하기 위하여 교과목명을 정보교과로 규정하고, 국가차원의 정보교과 교육과정 모형을 제시함으로서 학교도서관 활성화를 도모하고자 하였다. The purpose of this study is to present a curricular model of information literacy at a national level to build a foundation for information literacy education that has not yet been systematically established in the Korean education system.

This paper deals with the stress singularity developed in a polymer layer that is coated to a concrete surface, due to temperature change. The boundary element method is employed to investigate the behavior of interface stresses. The polymeric layer is assumed to be a linear viscoelastic material, and is thermorheologically simple. The order of the singularity is obtained, numerically, for a given viscoelastic model. Numerical results exhibit the relaxation of interface stresses, and large gradients are observed in the vicinity of the free surface. Results show that the stress singularity factor is relaxed with time, while the order of the singularity increases with time for the viscoelastic model.
활주형선(Planing Hull)의 선형설계와 유체동력학적 특성고찰

The planing hull is designed specifically to achieve relatively high speed on the surface of the water and is perhaps the oldest, simplest and most extensively employed member of the family of modem marine vehicles. It is expected that the planing hull will continue to find increasing utilization in military and commercial applications. In this paper, we will describe the hydrodynamic characteristics of planing hull, discuss the effect on planing performance. Also, model tests are carried out in towing tank and the results are compared with hydrodynamic technology of planing hull.
LFT-D공법을 이용한 탄소 장섬유 강화 열가소성 복합재의 특성에 관한 연구

탄소섬유강화 복합재는 기계적 물성이 우수하여 다양한 산업분야에서 활용되고 있으나 섬유길이가 짧은 단섬유 형태 로 함침 되고 있어 강도와 강성을 증대시키는데 한계가 있다. 이를 보완하기 위한 LFT-D성형은 탄소 또는 유리섬유를 열가 소성 수지와 혼합하여 압출 후 프레스 성형하여 제품을 만드는 공법으로 연속공정이 가능하고 사출성형에 비해 생산성이 높아 자동차 구조용 부품을 제작하는데 사용할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 LFT-D공법으로 성형된 탄소 장섬유강화 열가소성 복합소재의 기계적 특성을 파악하기 위하여 탄소 장섬유의 함침과 압출공정을 수행할 수 있는 Lab scale의 소형 압출기 시스 템을 제작하였다. Lab scale의 소형 압출기를 사용하여 제작된 탄소 장섬유 복합소재를 프레스 성형하여 시편을 제작하고 재료의 기계적 특성을 평가한 결과, 탄소섬유길이, 프레스 가압압력 및 탄소섬유 함유량이 복합소재의 강도 및 강성의 증가에 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 향후 탄소 장섬유 복합소재의 기계적 성질 향상을 위해서 혼합 스크류 설계, 탄소 섬유코팅 등에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다. Carbon fiber-reinforced composite materials have been widely used in various industrial fields, but there are limits to increasing their strength and stiffness, because of the short-length fibers that are impregnated in them. In this study, a lab-scale small extruder system was developed with the capability to perform the carbon fiber impregnation and extrusion process in order to evaluate the properties of long-length carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite materials molded by the LFT-D method. Specimens were made with the small extruder to press-mold long-length carbon fiber composite materials and evaluate their material properties. As a result, it was found that the carbon fiber length, press load and carbon fiber contents have a considerable influence on the strength and stiffness. Additional studies on such factors as the mixing screw design and coating of the carbon fiber are needed in order to improve the mechanical properties of carbon fiber composite materials.

Three cases who were successfully treated for cardiac injuries by open thoracotomy were reported. The range of the ages of the patient was 3rd decade, Two of the 3 were males with blunt injuries by motor vehicle accident and one was male with stab wound by knife. In the case of blunt injuries, the right atrium was involved in one case and the right and left atrium were involved in the other .The site of stab wound was the right atrium. There were two cases with the pre-operative diagnsis of cardiac injuries and they were blunt injuries. The case of stab wound was not diagnosed pre- operatively. All cases were treated with open thoracotomy-one posterolateral thoracotomy, one median sternotomy and one Clam shell incision. All of them had an uneventfull post-operative course.
