        청각장애 자녀의 인공와우 착용에 대한 부모의 태도 분석

        본 연구는 서울, 부산, 대구, 울산 등에 거주하며 인공와우를 착용한 자녀를 둔 그 부모들로부터 설문과 면담 등을 통하여 자료를 수집하고, 선행 연구를 분석하였다. 설문의 각 문항은 빈도와 백분위율로 알아보았고, 각 지표별에 따라 나타난 교육적 요구를 통계치를 중심으로 하여 x2 검증 방법으로 분석하였다. 청각장애 자녀 중 인공와우를 착용한 자녀를 둔 부모의 인공와우에 관한 인식을 종합적이고 구체적으로 분석하여 효과적인 인공와우 착용의 부모 훈련 프로그램의 기초 자료를 제공하는데 그 의의가 있다. The use of cochlear implant and its verbal rehabilitation effects are contingent on how parents with hearing-impaired children look at that equipment. The purpose of this study was, accordingly, to examine how parents whose deaf children wore cochlear implant and took verbal rehabilitation education had made a decision to receive that operation and how much they were satisfied with it by age group and educational background. The subjects in this study were 87 parents with children who used cochlear implant from Seoul, Busan, Daegu and Ulsan, and questionnaire method was utilizedto gather data. This study were implemented from April through October 2002 in theprocedure of subject selecting, questionnaire distributing, data processing and thesis preparing. Questionnaires used in earlier studies were reconstructed by thisresearcher, and this reorganized questionnaire was finalized through the advice of my professor. The questionnaire was constituted by 20 items, including three about the reason of receiving cochlear implant operation and 17 regarding its satisfaction level. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS/PC(v 10.0). The frequency and percentage were calculated for each of the subareas, and x2 test was employed.

        이중문화 접근에 기초한 청각장애학교 사회과 교육과정 재구성 및 교재 개발

        The characteristics of the subject education in the 7th curriculum for special schools can be devide into two dimensions such as basic curriculum for all students and restructuring curriculum for students with disabilities.The purpose of this study was to suggest the basic spirit of the 7th curriculum, and develop the curriculum and text with social studies to improve the human rights based on bicultural approach and new paradigm to be accepted the reconstruction of curriculum for the Deaf students. The study on text research and theoretical methods, analysis on the relations between bicultural approach and the 7th curriculum, reconstruction of curriculum and development of text were utilized for this study. Based on research method, the assumption of this study was that the reconstruction of curriculum and development of text with social studies is interdependence with socialization and characteristics of the hearing impaired, which mean multicultural aspect.The results of this study were that the reconstruction curriculum of social studies for the Deaf was effective to improve interest in social studies, positive Deaf identity, the solution abilities in life situation. Therefore this study concluded that the curriculum of social studies for the Deaf has to be focused in Deaf society and Deaf culture.

        농아동의 순차처리능력에 관한 소고

        The purpose of this study is to reveal characteristics of sequential processing abilities of children with deaf by presenting sign language instead of utilizing spoken language in K-ABC sequential processing sub-domains test. The subject were employed 15 children with deaf who are attend at elementary special school for the deaf.The process of data not only employed paired sample t-test for the marks of each sub-domains test including pure visual stimuli(hand movement), language elements of number level(number recall), language elements of word level(word order), but utilized Pearson's correlation coefficient in order to reveal correlation with their sequential processing abilities during they used sign language.The results of this study showed that children with deaf were inferior at tasks contained language elements and there were appeared statistical significance differences as well as there were appeared correlation coefficient between language elements and their abilities during they used sign language. It means that sign language not to be reflected as their first language, as well as there are many difficulties in playing a roll in learning tools due to be a cognitive burden to use it. Therefore, it is important that we should do systematical education approach about sign language in public education fields, in early time, in order to elevate their academic achievement, and establish their identification in early and to make sign language a construct to be first language for children with deaf.
