        무용전공 대학생들의 자기관리가 무용자신감 및 자아효능감에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of self management on self-efficacy and dance confidence of university students in dance major. The subjects in this study were 172 students who were selected by convenience sampling from a selected population that consisted of 4 universities in dance major. As to data analysis used the statistical package SPSS WIN 21.0. The findings of the study were as follows: First, self management was found to have affected self-efficacy of university students in dance major. Second, self management was found to have affected dance confidence of university students in dance major.

        청소년 하위문화로서 비보잉의 세계지역화와 무용문화의 방향 및 과제 (2)

        This study aims to investigate the main features and experiences of glocalization in Korean B-boying. The features of glocalization in Koran B-boying have four issues. Firstly, many korean youths have been enjoying B-boying which is influenced and derived from the global youth culture. Secondly, Korean crews have won the major international B-boying competitions several times since 2004. Thirdly, Korean B-boys have tried new styles of performance on stage which focus on hip hop dance. Fourthly, Korean B-boys have been flowing into major social systems rapidly.

        올림픽을 통한 스포츠와 무용예술의 상호작용

        This paper aimed to illuminate the interaction between sport and dance through Olympic Games and to search for the implication on the bid of 2014 Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games based on the ideological and historical backgrounds of Olympic Arts Festival. The interaction of each areas through Olympic Games take shape from the birth of Olympic Games, ideologically and historically. Olympic Arts Competition that began with 1912 Stockholm Olympic Games closed after 1948 London Olympic Games, because the unfavorable opinions creased continually on the degradation of amateurism in Olympic Arts Competition. But, Olympic Arts Festival succeed to the interaction between sports and arts since then. Especially, at least, in the case of Korea, 1988 Seoul Olympic Games is a good instance of interaction of each areas. 1988 Seoul Olympic Games Arts Festival resulted in development of dance on various aspects; popularization of dance, expanding of the field of dance, internationalization of korean dance, improving the facilities of dance performance etc. In this context, the bid for 2014 Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games need the active interest and participation of dance artist. If 2014 Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games is held, then it must be give an opportunity to develop the field of dance in Korea.

        무용(舞踊) 비평(批評) 경향(傾向) 분석(分析) : 1991~1999

        This thesis, analyzing the reviews on dance published from 1991 to 1999 according to type, aimed at establishing a solid foundation to suggest the problems of the existing criticism on dance and find a solution to them. It distinguished those comments printed on five cited art magazines from 1991 to 1999-The Audience, The Mom, Culture and Art, The World of Art, The Dance-and studied them. The result of the research is like the following. First, the comments about contemporary dance take a great part. Second, there is a good balance between the number of performances of creative dance of Korean dance and the number of reviews about them, however, Korean traditional dance cannot arouse critics` interest so much considering its increased number of performances. Third, the comments about ballet are increasing in number. Forth, the world of criticism is rather depressed, which is concerned with the overall difficulties of the field of dance caused by economical crisis. Fifth, the criticism about the performances for culture exchange should be activated and also the overseas activities of critics have to be encouraged.

        강원도 지역 청소년의 댄스 참여 실태 및 만족도 조사

        This survey is to aim at looking into dance participation of the youth in Gangneung, Gangwon province, identifying the type of participation and the environment of participation in dance. We analyzed the youth living in Gangneung, Gangwon province as a population and used convenience sampling method. We excluded the youth who did not answer the survey and collected 278 young people to analyze the result with SPSS/PC+(ver.17.0). The result of the analysis was as follows; 1. The current status of the participation dance depending on the demographic characteristics. First, it was discovered that gender and grade made meaningful difference in the type of participation dance, participation method of dance activity, participation period of dance activity, the genre that they want to learn. Second, it was discovered that gender made meaningful difference in the frequency of dance activity and reasons to participate in dance activity. Third, it was discovered that grade made meaningful difference by 0.1% in the strength of dance activity. 2. Result of one-way ANOVA analysis for proving the difference of satisfaction level of the dance of the youth depending on the demographic characteristics. First, the result of variance analysis of the satisfaction level of dance of the youth by gender showed that psychological, educational, social, relaxational and physiological factors had significant difference. Second, the result of variance analysis of the satisfaction level of dance of the youth by grade showed that psychological, social and environmental factors had significant difference. Third, the result of variance analysis of the satisfaction level of dance of the youth by money showed that money that they received from their parents did not have significant difference. Forth, the result of variance analysis of the satisfaction level of dance of the youth by the occupation of their parents showed that educational and environmental factors had significant difference.

        강원도 지역 무용 문화의 현재와 과제

        This research is to look at the reality and issues to be addressed in order to support the efforts to maintain cultural diversity and, to preserve, inherit and develop the dance art of Kangwon province. To this end, 1) I look at the present of dance art of Kangwon region and the traditional culture that represents Kangwon region, 2) I compared and analyzed the performance and dance education status of Kangwon region since 2000 and 3) based on the research, I will suggest the future direction to where Kangwon region`s dance culture should head for. The result of the study is that the challenge in activating the dance culture of Kangwon region includes; first, Kangwon province should restore and inherit its unique traditional dance as they did in Youngdong region for their Gwanno Mask Dance (Slaves` Mask Dance) and it should put focus on developing creative dance that carries the unique sense of the region. Second, there are several elements that should be considered when developing projects to support Kangwon region such as supply of art trainer and Havichi Sunny School in order to overcome the structural limits generated by geographical and cultural characteristics of Kangwon region. Third, aside from schools, national and public regional culture center and social education institutions should provide art programs in consideration for the location of establishment and the target of the program. Forth, it should discover and develop the dance that carries cultural and historical tradition of Kangwon region and establish midand small-sized national/public dance companies which can perform at regional hubs according to the spatial and geographical characteristics of the dispersed Kangwon region.

        What Do Female Jobs Do for Women’s Job Continuity? : Occupational Sex Segregation and Women’s Job Exits in the U.S.

        노동시장에서 성별직업분리의 연속성을 설명하는 주요한 논의들은 여성들의 직업선택에 성역할분화가 뿌리깊은 영향을 미치고 있음을 지적하고 있다. 즉, 여성들은 어머니로서의 역할을 보다 수월하게 병행할 수 있는 직업─그것이 모성역할에 보다 호의적이건, 또는 노동시장의 진입과 이탈에 보다 우호적이건─을 선택하는 경향이 강하다는 것이다. 그리고 이러한 여성들의 자녀양육의 책임에 따른 직업선택이 결과적으로 성별직업분리를 영속화시키는 주요한 원인이라는 점을 강조하고 있다. 이러한 이론적, 경험적 논의를 바탕으로, 여성들의 임신과 자녀양육의 영향에 초점을 두고 본 연구는 성별 직업분리가 여성들의 직업연속성에 미치는 효과를 분석한다. 본 연구는 미국의 National Longitudinal Survey of Youth (NLSY) 1979-1998 데이터를 이용하여 시간연속적 사건사 분석 방법(continuous time event history models)을 적용하여 여성들이 직업을 이탈하는 다양한 유형과 과정을 분석한다. 본 연구결과에 따르면, 여성직종에 근무하는 여성들은 비여성직종에 근무하는 여성들보다 직업을 이탈할 가능성이 더 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 더욱이, 이러한 직업분리도와 여성직업 연속성의 관계는 여성의 자녀양육에 의해 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 자녀를 둔, 또는 임신한 여성들이 직장을 떠날 가능성은 더 많지만, 여성직종에 근무하는 여성들은 비여성직종에 근무하는 여성들보다 노동시장을 완전히 이탈할 가능성은 오히려 낮은 것으로 본 연구결과는 나타내고 있다. 이러한 결과는 기존의 이론적 논쟁점 여성들의 여성직종 선택은 여성성의 표현이고, 그들의 모성역할을 수행하기 위하여 전략적으로 여성직종을 선택한다는 것과 일치하지 않는 것이다. 결론적으로, 본 연구결과는 성별 직종분리가 임신과 육아책임을 수행하기 위한 여성의 경제적 합리성에 근거한 자발적 선택이라는 이론적 논의는 다시 고찰되어야 한다는 점을 강조한다. Predominant explanations of the persistence of sex segregation in occupations link job choices to profoundly gendered responses to childbearing and other family demands, arguing that women are more likely to seek jobs which are in some sense compatible with motherhood, either because they are family friendly (flexible, low intensity work) or because they are easy to exit and re-enter. In this paper, I examine the effect of occupational sex segregation on job exits into the labor market among women, with a special attention to the role of childbearing and child rearing. I use data from detailed employment histories gathered from the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth (NLSY) in continuous time event history models. My results indicate that women in female dominated jobs are less likely to exit their jobs than women in other types of occupations. Further this relationship is not shaped by motherhood. While mothers or pregnant women are more likely to leave work, mothers in female-dominated occupations are slightly less likely to leave employment than mothers in other occupations. These results are not consistent with the ideas that women's choice of female-dominated occupations expresses a gendered identity and women strategically seek jobs which accommodate maternal roles. Taken together, my findings do not provide support to the idea that women choose female-dominated occupations because they are easier to integrate with motherhood (except for the pregnancy period).

        현(現) 무용 평론가의 인식과 영향력에 관한 연구

        The criticism on dance is thought to have a direct and indirect influence on dance society, as one of the new studies. But, if the critics are not well aware of the function or role of the dance criticism, their activity may be an obstacle to the development of dance society and, further, may give a fatal impact on individual dancer. From this point of view, I become newly recognized the value of the critical research. This reinforces the general opinion that the criticism must be made on the basis of the experience in the art of dance and the analysis over dance works has to be proved historically. There is an unavoidable limit because of the subjective point of view, when dancer analyzes of evaluates the work arranged by himself(or herself). To our dancers, therefore, the existence of the third eye, namely, critic, is required, who can keep the objectivity, being of keen observation and fair judgment, Besides, as one of the on-the-spot art, dance art ox largely characterized by on-time behavior. Since dance is expressed by movement and its substance disappears soon, grasping its meaning is not easy, compared with other genere. Accordingly, the interpretation and and evaluation over dance work is conducted based upon memory, and hence, there os a big possibility that critics` subjective viewpoint intervenes. Their interpretation might often conflict with dancer`s intention. The purpose of this study is, under the circumstances, to suggest the way where the dance art should be headed for in the midst of harmony between dancer, audience and critics, and examine the consciousness of critics in our country, which may contribute to spreading a positive understanding of critics.
