        새로운 기준 전압 인가 방법을 사용하는 8b 200MHz 시간 공유 서브레인징 ADC

        본 논문에서는 단일 폴리 공정을 기반으로 하여 8b 해상도로 200MHz의 고속 동작을 하기 위해 최적화된 시간 공유 서브레인징 ADC(Analog-to-Digital Converter)를 제안한다. 제안하는 ADC는 높은 정확도를 요구하는 하위 ADC에 이중 채널 구조를 적용하여 높은 샘플링 주파수를 보장하였고, 새로운 기준 전압 인가 방식을 적용하여 기준 전압의 빠른 정착 시간을 얻으면서 동시에 칩 면적을 크게 감소시켰다. 기준 전압을 생성하는 저항열에서는 선형성 및 속도 향상을 위해 기존의 인터메쉬드 구조를 보완한 새로운 저항열을 사용하였다. 8 비트 수준의 정밀도에서 면적 및 전력 소모를 최소화하기 위해 공통 드레인(common- drain) 증폭기 구조를 사용하여 샘플-앤-홀드 증폭기(Sample-and-Hold Amplifier:SHA)를 설계하였으며, 입력단에 스위치와 캐패시터로 구성된 동적 공통 모드 궤환 회로(Dynamic Common Mode Feedback Circuit)를 사용하여 SHA의 동적 동작 범위(dynamic range)를 증가시켰다. 동시에 상위 ADC와 하위 ADC간의 신호 처리를 단순화시키기 위해 상위 ADC에 새로운 인코딩 회로를 제안하였다. This work describes an 8b 200MHz time-interleaved subranging analog-to-digital converter (ADC) based on a single-poly digital CMOS process. Two fine ADCs for lower digital bits of the proposed ADC employ a time-sharing double-channel architecture to increase system speed and a new reference voltage switching scheme to reduce settling time of the reference voltages and chip area. The proposed intermeshed resistor string, which generates reference voltages for fine ADCs, improves linearity and settling time of the reference voltages simultaneously. The proposed sample- and-hold amplifier(SHA) is based on a highly linear common-drain amplifier and passive differential circuits to minimize power consumption and chip area with 8b accuracy and employs input dynamic common mode feedback circuits for high dynamic performance at a 200MHz sampling rate. A new encoding circuit in a coarse ADC simplifies the signal processing between the coarse ADC and two successive fine ADCs.

        B2B 전자제품 수요예측 모형

        As the uncertainty of demand in B2B electronics market has increased, firms need a strong method to estimate the market demand. An accurate prediction on the market demand is crucial for a firm not to overproduce or under-produce its goods, which would influence the performance of the firm. However, it is complicated to estimate the demand in a B2B market, particularly for the private sector, because firms are very diverse in terms of size, industry, and types of business. This study proposes both qualitative and quantitative demand forecasting approaches for B2B PC products. Four different measures for predicting PC products in B2B market with consideration of the different PC uses-personal work, common work, promotion, and welfare-are developed as the qualitative model's input variables. These measures are verified by survey data collected from experts in 139 firms, and can be applied when individual firms estimate the demand of PC goods in a B2B market. As the quantitative approach, the multiple regression model is proposed and it includes variables of region, type of industry, and size of the firm. The regression model can be applied when the aggregated demand for overall domestic PC market needs to be estimated.

      • 2차병원에서의 소아과 환자의 응급실 및 외래 이용에 관한 연구

        Objectives : To analyze the characteristics of the pediatric patients who visited the emergency room and outpatient department of secondary hospital in order to properly guide pediatric patients to use emergency room and raise the efficiency Methods : The authors investigated and analyzed sex, age, visit day, visit time, length of stay, hospitalization and diagnostic entities of the pediatric patients who visited the emergency room and outpatient department of Wallace Memorial Baptist Hospital from January 2003 to December 2005 in a retroactive approach with their medical records. Results : For the three years, the number of total patients who visited the emergency room was 56,051 and among them, the number of pediatric patients was 7,490 (13.4%). The age group of 1 to 2 years was the largest with 2,488 (33.2%). The male to female ratio was 1.34:1. Sunday was the day of the week that the largest number of patienst visited with 2,375 (31.7%) and nearly half (48.4%) of the patients visited the emergency room during the weekend. The time when the most patient visited the emergency room was between 8 pm to 12 am. Regarding the length of stay, the highest number of patients (65.0%) stayed in the emergency room for on hour or less, and the average length of visit was 1.5 hours, which was rather short. Most patients (68.8%) left the hospital after taking simple physical examination and procedure(prescription). The most frequent diagnoses for the pediatric patients who visited the emergency room were acute pharyngitis (26.0%), acute gastroenteritis (20.7%), fever (6.6%). During the same period, the total number of pediatric patients who visited the outpatient department was 125,513. The age group of 3 to 5 was the largest with 36,041 (28.7%). The male to female ratio was 1.34:1. 6.0% of total outpatients required treatment in a hospital. Most frequent diagnoses of the outpatients were asthma (24.4%), pneumonia (12.0%), vaccination (8.7%), febrile convulsion (8.4%), acute pharyngitis (6.6%), acute gastroenteritis (5.8%). Conclusion : It is considered that a large number of pediatric patients still have used emergency room for treatment of simple and mild diseases instead of visiting outpatient department and/or primary hospital. Thus further efforts are required to properly guide pediatric patients to use emergency room and to raise the efficiency of their use.
