승용차 자연 환기성능 향상을 위한 REAR부 유동특성 연구

It needs to deforgging system in vehicle for the purpose of the safe driving and pleasantness in side of vehicle. It is very important for deforgging system in a vehicle to ventilation performance. In this study, the flow characteristics for improvement of the ventilation performance in rear part of vehicle was performed computationally using CFD. Control factors are gap of between rear glass and rear package tray, extractor hole position and extractor hole area. Incase of gap and extractor hole position change, Relative pressure drop is improved about 19%. And incase of extractor hole position and area change, Relative pressure drop is improved about 37.6%. Control factors have to apply to at the same tine in order to increase relative pressure drop

Whiplash injuries frequently occur in low speed rear crashes, Many consumer and insurance organizations use the BioRID-Ⅱ dummy, to access the risk of whiplash injuries in car accidents. An LS-DYNA model of BioRID-Ⅱ dummy has been developed by FAT consortium and introduced in this paper in detail. And dummy seat positioning process is described and load case of the performed simulations will be explained. Finally whiplash analysis has been done and some modifications have to be done to improve the whiplash performance.

Recently-increasing demands for diesel engine in the market make an auxiliary heater essential in a passenger car because the fuel-efficient diesel does not dissipate enough heat to coolant to warm up the passenger compartment with a single conventional heater at the cold start. This study introdued the principle and structure of the fuel fired, plug and PTC heater. And the heating performances of these auxiliary heaters were compared and analyzed.

The Bumper is one of the most important parts of automobile related to the style and safety. According to the Consumer Report, the styling and design of exterior and the safety were marked at the 3rd and 4th grade in 2004 as factors that consumers consider essentially to buy cars. Particularly, the JIHS test influences our consumers about which one they should buy in the market of North America. And the bumper must pass the regulation test of their country as well. And the minimization of its weight is also the main issue to every car maker which can result to improve fuel rate so that cars can reduce pollutants. In these reasons, high strength steels is essential for a back beam in order to be sufficient to the safety and lightening of cars. This paper will introduce the ultra high strength steel back beam and what will be the advantage of high strength back beam, especially as to 80㎏f/㎟, 100㎏f/㎟ and 135㎏f/㎟ strength steel in the JIHS test.

Every car exported to the north America have to satisfy the FMVSS201 regulation since September of 2002. And car makers have been applied curtain air bag to improve safety and quality of goods in these days. So car makers need to develop the optimum design spec of FMH regulations for the car with curtain air bag in the early design stage. In this study we have tried to search optimum design spec by using simulation and DFSS technique. Finally we have proposed the robust optimum design spec of inteior trim satisfying the FMVSS201 regulation.

Lately, Car makers have to assure of the safety performance at more severe condition than before with the effectuation of the NEW FMVSS208 regulation Knee Impact performance is one of the important safety regulations that have to be developed in the early design stage. In this study, we tried to search optimum design guide by using simulation in the early stage as same condition of sled test. We also want to set up new CAE analysis process for kneebolster and apply to continuously another car in the future.
Trailer Hitch 견인 및 내구 강도의 해석적 평가 기법 연구

The purpose of this research is to introduce the regulations of the trailer hitch that had been applied at the United state and how to divide the type of trailer hitch and what is the testing method. So we have divided the trailer hitch into the weight distributing hitch and weight carrying hitch by the maximum gross trailer weight(MGTW). When a trailer is hitched to a vehicle. The wind and rolling resistance of the equipment is increased. Therefore. we have analysed the traction performance and the endurance strength of the trailer hitch with the mounted B/BEAM by the load test of6 stage. In this way we show the guidelines for designing the trailer hitch to combine the B/BEAM.

To reduce injuries of pedestrians, EEVC(European Experimental Vehicles Committee) and EURO-NCAP(New Car Assessment Program) set the test procedures that evaluates the safety performance of cars and established legislation. Lower legform test, one of the three test cases, has relation to bumper system that plays important role to satisfy requirements of lower legform. The development cost and time will increase if the sample is made and tested continuously until the bumper is satisfied the legislation. Therefore, the cost will be reduced by carrying out correlation between computer simulation and test of lower legform to bumper with the accurate FEA technique.
루버휜-관 열교환기 형상변화에 따른 응축특성에 관한 연구

Experiments are carried out to investigate the heat transfer rate and pressure drop characteristics of the modified fin-tube heat exchanger having same flow path as the two row louver fin-tube heat exchanger using refrigerant R22. The heat exchangers used in the experiments are classified as two, one is fundamental type and the other is combination type of two-row heat exchanger which is consist of two one-row heat exchanger with intervals of 14 ㎜. According to the results, the combination type heat exchanger has higher outlet air temperature and condensation heat transfer rate than the fundamental type heat exchanger. However, The combination type heat exchanger has higher air pressure drop than the fundamental type. The combination type has also higher refrigerant pressure drop than the fundamental type.
