        Soil Environmental Investigation of Plastic Film House in Chonnam Area

        The investigation and the analysis of soil chemical properties, microbial flora and cultural practices in plastic house of 60 farms (pepper 20, cucumber 20, oriental melon 20) were conducted in Chonnam area film. An amount of fertilizer application of farms was more than that of standard fertilizer application. That was phosphate at two and a half times, potassium at twice and manure at three times the amount of standard application. It was inferred that excessive fertilizer application would lead to salts accumulation in soil. Continuous cropping injury would be incurred by excesive salts accumulation in soil. Even if inorganic elements in soil culturing peppers, cucumbers and oriental melons were greater than optimum level, base-saturation degree of soil culturing peppers, cucumbers and oriental melons was 40:18:12, 55:16:14 and 40:27:11 respectively. That was lower than the optimum levels (60:15:5). Therefore, crops would be affected by uptake inhibition by nutrition imbalance. Density of Fusarium is related to plant decease in soil i.e. pepper $26.2{\times}10^2\;cfu\;g^{-1}$, cucumber $75.8{\times}10^2\;cfu\;g^{-1}$ and oriental melon $6.5{\times}10^2\;cfu\;g^{-1}$. B/F of soil planted with pepper, cucumber and oriental melon was 91.2, 80.4 and 18.8, respectively. 시설재배 토양의 화학성, 미생물상 및 경종방법을 조사분석하여 시비관리 개선 및 연작장해의 사전 방지책 마련을 위한 자료를 얻고자 고추, 오이, 참외 재배지 60농가를 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 고추, 오이, 참외 재배농가의 시비량은 표준보다 인산은 2~2.5배, 칼리 2배였으며, 퇴비는 오이재배 농가에서 3배정도 많이 시용한 것으로 조사 되었으며 토양중 무기성분 함량이 대부분 적정치 이상이라 할지라도 고추, 오이, 참외 토양의 염기포화도가 40:18:12, 55:16:14, 40:27:11로 적정치의 60:15:5에 미치지 못하였을 뿐만아니라 양분 불균형으로 작물의 흡수 장해가 있었을 것으로 추정 되었다. 시설 하우스 토양의 미생물 B/F 값은 고추 91.2, 오이 80.4, 참외 18.8로 연작 년수가 긴 것으로 조사된 참외 재배토양의 미생물상이 열악한 것으로 나타났다. 토양 pH가 증가할수록 곰팡이와 Fusarium의 밀도는 감소 하고 방선균은 증가 하였으며, 토양 유기물 함양이 증가 할수록 모든 미생물의 밀도가 증가 하였으며 세균은 유의성이 안정 되었다. 세균, 곰팡이, 및 Fusarium의 밀도는 EC가 증과 할수록 감소 하였다. 따라서 시설하우스 재배시는 토양분석후 시비처방에 의해 인산과 칼리를 감비하고 염기포화도를 조절할 수 있도록 시비해야 할 것으로 사료되었다.

      • 고유수용성감각 운동프로그램이 편마비 환자의 균형 수행력에 미치는 효과

        Purpose : The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the proprioceptive exercise program on balance performance in order to the suggest hemiplegic patients the therapeutic intervention. Methods : In this study, Proprioceptive exercise program was applied to 11 hemiplegic patients for 6 weeks as follows: First of all, hemi leg flexion-extension pattern was applied in a supine position. Secondly, alternated leg flexion pattern was applied in a standing posture with one hand support on the unstable platform. Thirdly, rhythmic stabilization techniques were applied in a standing posture on the unstable platform. Results : Significant differences were observed the chronic low back pain patient for VAS, BBS. Chronic low back pain patient improved all test. The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. After intervention, there was a statistically significant change in the dynamic balance (FSST, TUG, FRT) performance(p<.05). 2. After intervention, there was also a statistically significant change in the static balance (FICSIT-4) performance(p<.05). Conclusion : The result of the study suggests that muscle strength exercise by the intervention of proprioceptive exercise program improves the hemiplegic patients' static and dynamic balance performance.

      • 닫힌-사슬 운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 체중지지율과 균형능력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of closed-chain exercise on weight supporting rate change within hemiplegic side and static dynamic balance ability in stroke patients. Methods : The subjects of the study were 13 hemiplegic patients who carried out closed-kinematic chain exercise program over 6 weeks. The exercises of the program are stand to sit with stall bar, stair-up & down by a hemiplegic leg and bridging exercise crossing the non-hemiplegic leg onto the hemiplegic leg. Each exercise was carried out over 3 sets of 10reps. Results : The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. After intervention, there was a statistically significant change in the weight supporting rate within hemiplegic and non-hemiplegic side(P<0.05). 2. After intervention, there was a statistically significant change in the static balance(FICSIT-4) ability(P<0.05). 3. After intervention, there was a statistically significant change in the dynamic balance(FSST, TUG, FRT) ability(P<0.05). Conclusion : The results of the study suggests that closed-chain exercise program in stroke patients improves their weight supporting rate and enhance the static dynamic balance.

        치료적 운동프로그램이 편마비 환자의 정적·동적 균형 수행력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of closed kinematic chain exercise and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation exercise on the static dynamic balance performance of hemiplegic patients in order to suggest them therapeutic intervention methods. Methods : The subjects of this study were 18 hemiplegic patients grouped into 2 subgroups according to the exercise program. one group of closed kinematic chain exercise carried out sit to stand, Hooklying with pelvic lift(bridging) and stair-up & down by a hemiplegic leg. The other group of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation exercise carried out leg flexion-extension pattern in supine position, leg flexion pattern in standing and stabilizing reversal exercise in stating position. Each exercise was carried out over 3 sets of 10reps. Results : The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. For both groups, there were statistically significant changes in the static balance (FICSIT-4) performance after exercise program (p<.05). 2. For both groups, there were statistically significant changes in the dynamic balance (FSST, TUG, FRT) performance after exercise program (p<.05). 3. In the comparison between both groups, there was no statistically significant difference in the static dynamic balance performance (FICSIT-4, FSST, TUGT, ER) after exercise program. Conclusion : As the results of the study shows closed kinematic chain exercise and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation exercise affect the improvement of hemiplegic patients'' static dynamic balance performance, it is supposed that these exercises could be therapeutic exercise program in clinical situations.

        PNF 팔·다리 패턴에 따른 반대측 다리의 근활성도 비교

        Purpose: This study compared and analyzed the effect of the proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) arm extension pattern and leg flexion pattern on the contralateral lower extremity muscles when the patterns were applied to the same subject. Methods: In the study, 35 healthy men and women who understood the PNF patterns were selected as participants. The participants completed the PNF arm extension-abduction-internal rotation pattern and leg flexion-adduction-external rotation with knee flexion pattern in the supine position. While the patients' completed each pattern, the contralateral leg muscle activity was measured to examine the irradiation effect. The maximum isometric contraction time of the muscles to be measured was kept for 5 seconds, and the mean value was obtained by repeating the pattern three times. Results: When the leg flexion-adduction-external rotation with knee flexion pattern was completed, the muscle activity in the vastus lateralis, vastus medialis, biceps femoris, tibialis anterior, and gastrocnemius of the contralateral lower extremity was significantly greater than that found in the PNF arm extension-abduction-internal rotation pattern. Conclusion: The PNF leg flexion pattern showed greater muscle activity on the contralateral lower extremity than the arm extension pattern. Thus, the PNF leg extension pattern is more effective in the activation of the muscles associated with weight-bearing activity.

      • 고유수용성신경근촉진법의 팔 폄 패턴이 반대편 다리의 근활성도에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the arm extension pattern of proprioceptive exercise program on the muscle activity of the opposite lower extremity. Methods: In this study, electromyogram MP150(Biopac system, USA) was applied to 20 healthy male subjects. Arm extension-adduction-internal rotation pattern was applied within initial, mid and end range in sling position and supine position for measurement. And the effect on the activity of rectus femoris and tibialis anterior muscle of the opposite lower extremity was compared and analyzed. Results: The results of this study were summarized as follows: First, there was a statistically significant difference of the activity of the tibialis anterior muscle within the Initial range in sling position and supine position(P<0.05). Second, there was a statistically significant difference of the activity of the tibialis anterior muscle within the end range in sling position and supine position(P<0.05). Conclusion: Rectus femoris and tibialis anterior muscles shows the higher activity in the supine position than in the sling position. Therefore, the supine position is more appropriate than the sling position to make irradiation on lower extremity muscle with the extension pattern.

        사슬운동 자세에 따른 고유수용성신경근촉진법 팔 패턴이 다리의 근활성도에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of arm flexion patterns of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation on muscle activation in the contralateral lower extremity. Open kinematic chain and closed kinematic chain positions were used. Methods: This study used an electromyogram (MP150, Biopac Systems, USA) to measure muscle activation in 20 healthy male students. Comparative analysis was completed on muscle activation of the vastus lateralis, biceps femoris, tibialis anterior, and gastrocnemius of the contralateral lower extremity. Open kinematic chain and closed kinematic chain positions were used with a unilateral arm flexion-abduction-external rotation pattern. Paired t-tests using the SPSS 12.0 for Windows analyzed the data produced by the electromyogram. Results: There was a statistically significant difference in muscle activation in the biceps femoris, gastrocnemius, and tibialis anterior when the open kinematic chain and closed kinematic chain positions were compared (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The biceps femoris, gastrocnemius, and tibialis anterior muscles showed greater muscle activation in the closed kinematic chain position when compared to the open kinematic chain position.

      • 한국인 소아청소년기 발작의 원인질환으로서의 유기산대사이상질환

        목적: 발작은 소아기에 상당히 흔한 임상 증상으로 급성증상성발작은 대뇌의 구조적변화, 염증, 및 대사이상 등이 원인이 될 수 있다. 대사이상을 일으킬 수 있는 대사장애 질환들로는 유기산대사이상질환군, 리소솜축적질환군, 퍼옥시솜대사이상질환군, 미량원소의 이상질환군 등이 있다. 저자들은 발작을 일으키는 유기산대사이상 질환들의 중요성을 알아보기 위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방법: 2007년 1월1일부터 2011년 12월 31일까지 만 5년 동안 유기산분석이 의뢰되었던 1,306명의 환자를 2개월까지의 신생아기, 2세까지의 영아기, 12세까지의 소아기 및 12세 이후의 청소년기이후의 4군으로 나누고, 발작의 형태는 전신발작, 국소발작 및 복합발작으로 나눴으며, 발달지연의 유무에 따라 SPSS의 student's t test를 이용하여 후향적으로 분석하였다. 결과: 전체적으로 1,306명의 환자에서 유기산분석에서 비정상소견을 보인 경우가 665명(51%)이었으며, MRCD가 394명(30.1%), mandelic aciduria가 127명(9.7%), 케톤분해이상이 81명(6.2%), 3-hydroxyisobutyric aciduria가 19명(1.4%), glutaric aciduria type II가 10명(0.8%) 이었고 뒤를 이어 ethylmalonic aciduria 4명, propionic aciduria 4명이었으며, 3명의 환자가 진단된 질환들이 methylmalonic aciduria, glutaric aciduria type I, pyruvate dehydrogenase deficiency, pyruvate carboxylase deficiency 등이 있었으며, 2례씩 진단된 질환들이 isovaleric aciduria, HMG-CoA lyase deficiency, 3-methylcrotonylglycinuria, fatty acid oxidation disorders 등이 있었고, 1례씩 진단된 질환들로 fumaric aciduria, citrullinemia, CPS deficiency, MCAD deficiency 등이 있었다. 결론: 신생아기에는 감염으로 인한 mandelic aciduriad의 빈도가 의미 있게 높았고, 전연령군에서 MRCD의 중요성이 큰 것으로 파악되었다. 신생아기이후에도 다양한 유기산대사이상들의 진단이 되고 있어 기본검사의 중요성이 높았으며, 증상이 있을 때의 초기검체를 이용한 검사가 중요하다고 판단되었다. Purpose: Acute symptomatic seizures are caused by structural changes, inflammation or metabolic changes of brain, such as tumor, stroke, meningitis, encephalitis and metabolic disorders. Inherited metabolic disorders that can cause seizures are organic acidopathies, lysosomal storage disorders, peroxisomal disorders and mineral disorders. We have done this study to find out the importance of organic acidopathies causing seizure disorders in Korean childhood and adolescent patients. Method: Retrograde analysis for 1,306 patients with seizure disorders whose clinical informations are available and have done urine organic acid analysis for 5 years period, between Jan. 1st 2007 to Dec. 31th 2011. Statistical analysis was done with Student's t test using SPSS. Result: Out of 1,306 patients, 665 patients (51%) showed abnormalities on urine organic acid analysis. The most frequent disease was mitochondrial respiratory chain disorders (394, 30.1%), followed by mandelic aciduria (127, 9.7%), ketolytic defects (81, 6.2%), 3-hydroxyisobutyric aciduria (19, 1.4%), glutaric aciduria type II (10, 0.8%), ethylmalonic aciduria (4), propionic aciduria (4), methylmalonic aciduria (3), glutaric aciduria type I (3), pyruvate dehydrogenase deficiency (3), pyruvate carboxylase deficiency (3), isovaleric aciduria (2), HMG-CoA lyase deficiency (2), 3-methylcrotonylglycinuria (2), fatty acid oxidation disorders (2), fumaric aciduria (1), citrullinemia (1), CPS deficiency (1), MCAD deficiency (1). Conclusion: On neonatal period, mandelic aciduria due to infection was found relatively frequently. Mitochondrial disorders are most frequent etiologic disease on all age group, followed by ketolytic defects and various organic acidopathies. The number and diversities of organic acidopathies emphasize meticulous evaluation of basic routine laboratory examinations and organic acid analysis with initial sample on every seizure patient.
