Oyster shells are difficult to grind, while oyster shell powders have coarse and coarse grains, whereas egg shell powder, the same high calcium material, has small and soft particles and has opposing properties. In order to study the change in flexural and compressive strength by designing different mixing ratios using 50% of oyster shell powder and egg shell powder as a filling material. As a result of the experiment, there is almost no difference in the result.

Oyster shells are characterized by coarse and coarse grains, but similar in strength to sand, and egg shells are fine grains but weak in strength. In terms of supply and demand of raw materials, oyster shells can be supplied only in limited periods and regions in winter and south coast of the year, but egg shells have the advantage of being able to supply and supply nationwide 365 days. This study aims to study the change in strength characteristics by mixing oyster shell powder and egg shell powder with the same particle size and mixing up to 150%. The conclusions of the flexural and compressive strength tests of mortar mixed with oyster shell powder and egg shell powder are as follows. The 7-day flexural and compressive strength with ESP added and the 3-day flexural and compressive strength with OSP added were similar, which is thought to be because the strength of OSP is higher than that of ESP.

Data on basic properties are needed due to the increased interest of insulation materials, but In Korea, there are fewer data related to the basic properties of insulation. so the absorption rate was measured every seven days by selecting some of the insulation among insulation materials to provide basic data on absorption rates among basic properties. Measured over 43 days, both absorption and weight showed the highest PF levels, other insulation is judged to have almost reached the maximum absorption rate. PF is still an increasing trend and requires constant observation.

During the molding process of the existing interlocking block, the pigment is firstly laid, and cement is poured on the pigment secondly to give vibration. Interlocking blocks made of conventional cement are entirely dark where the pigment area is removed. On the other hand, when looking at the mortar with oyster shells added, the color is closer to that of the existing cement mortar. Therefore, if an interlocking block is produced by adding a pigment to a mortar with an oyster shell added, it is considered that the amount of pigment is less than that of the existing interlocking block. This study is a basic study of interlocking blocks. To investigate the strength characteristics of mortar using oyster shell powder as aggregate, W/C is 25%, 50%, oyster shell replacement rate is 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%. , 100% was substituted to make a mortar and its strength change was studied.

Use fire resistant construction methods, of which fire resistant boards are used to protect buildings and structures from fire. However, in the case of fire resistant boards, the unit price of the main raw material is high and the cost efficiency is low. There have been studies to apply oyster shells to fire resistant boards to solve these problems. On the other hand, egg shells are also considered to be applicable to fire-resistant boards with components like oyster shells, but there is no case of using egg shells as building materials. Therefore, in this study, we confirmed the physical properties of egg shell powers used as mortar filler and compared them with the fire resistant board flexural strength standard. As a result, it was judged that the powder of egg shells could be used as a building material, because the standards for the flexural strength of fire resistant boards were satisfied except for a part.

Insulated buildings are exposed to the external environment due to aging and construction problems, resulting in a decrease in building energy efficiency. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to provide a material for the change in thermal conductivity of the insulation when it is exposed to various external environments. In the experiment, five types of heat insulating materials were selected, stored under different environmental conditions, and the thermal conductivity was measured periodically to confirm the change in thermal conductivity. As a result, the thermal conductivity of all the insulating materials except the PF board increased with the passage of time. This is because thermal insulation absorbs atmospheric moisture under all environmental conditions and the thermal conductivity increases, and in the case of thermal insulation stored indoors in environmental conditions, the temperature differs from the thermal insulation stored outside. It is considered that there is little evaporation of moisture absorbed constantly, and the change in thermal conductivity is large.

As energy related problems continue to arise, Korea’s thermal insulation market for the zero energy homes is also demanding major changes, but there are no realistic countermeasures. Also, interest in inorganic insulation is growing as damage from multifamily housing fire using flammable insulation materials is increasing. On the other hand, many studies have been conducted on lightweight foam concrete, which implies a sufficient possibility as an insulation material by generating a large amount of air bubbles. However, studies of existion bubble concrete are not quantified by the experimental difficulty of using bubbles when compared. Therefore, in this study, the change in strength due to air pressure using a bubble foam, one of the types of air bubbles for the development of light foam concrete.

Research has been conducted in many fields for the zero energy of domestic buildings. Among them, the development of insulation has become an essential element. Accordingly, researches are being made to improve the performance of organic insulating materials, and PF boards having the lowest thermal conductivity among organic insulating materials have been in the spotlight. However, problems have arisen due to the problems of durability of insulation materials such as PF boards and past acidification, and the durability of insulation materials is deteriorated when moisture or water enters due to crack gaps during the insulation of the basement layer or the external insulation method. In regard to the durability of the insulation, when the organic insulators of different kinds were placed in water, the pH was weakly basic in all organic insulation materials except PF, and the PF was about 4 pH. As a result, the PF should be continuously reviewed, and further analysis should be carried out to determine what causes acidification.
