The needle blight of Pinus strobus caused by Cercospora pini-densiftorae Hori et Nambu. It is the purpose of the paper to report the results of the control on needle blight. The results are summarized as follows; 1. The most effective chemical to the Needle blight is Vra+Brodeaux mixture, the next being Vra-s+Mancozi W.P. 2. All chemicals are more effective in 10-spray section than in 5-spray section. 3. Of the rest, Captapoll W.P., an organic sulfur chemical, is most effective to the Needle blight. 4. The most effective dilution is varied with the chemicals tested.

It is so far suggested from the results of investigation on the changes of quality during the freezing storage of shrimp and swell fish that increasing of VB-N, TMA rapidly break down, increasing of Coliform MPN and decreasing of concentration of pigment mainly in the early stage of storage. In this paper, the raw material used for experimental sample after soaking during 1hr. in 5% ascorbic acid in 2% NaCl solution and 5% EDTA solution. The results of this study was that the sea food of freezing storage for domestic use and expore had better soaking during 1hr. in 5% EDTA solution.
보일러用水의 管理實態에 關한 考察 : 群山市 所在 보일러를 中心으로

It is greatly important to control boiler feed and boiler water in a suitable working condition in order to operate boiler with safety and economicaly. However we might make a very efficient boiler, if we can net control the water for boiler reasonably, the great loss of fuel get caused, and what is more, much damage is done to the life and the properly by exploding accidents. Each country, in order to prevent this, made the standard of the water for boiler an industrial one. In this paper I picked up 20 presently working boiler which are set up in 10 producing plants scattered in Gunsan, and taking some water for boiler and analysing it, 1 brought light on a reason it was not suited to the standard. The results of experiment are following. 1) Boilers of which the PO43- exceeded or fell short of the standard were 70% among them. To the 4 boilers which exceed the standard, we should diminish the amount of boiler compound chiefly made of phosphatic natrium, while we should mix the phosphatic nartium such as Na2Co3, Na2B4O7-10H2O, Na2SiO3. Of 10 boilers which fall short of the standard, we should put to use NaH2PO4, Na2HPO4 as a boiler compound to 7 boilers of which pH is higher than the standard. And to the 3 boilers of which pH is within the limits of the standard, we should pot to use Na2HPO4, and Na3PO4 as a boiler compound. 2) The boiler of which the hardness of boiler feed exceed the standard was 65% of them. This is due to the fact that boiler feed is not soften, and if so, Ion exchange resin is not renewed at a high time or pouring amount is not adquate. 3) The boilers of which pH of boiler water exceed the standard is 65% of them. At this time, as alkali corrosion and caustic embrittlement are occurred, putting to use Na2Co3, Na2HPO4 or NaH2PO4, instead of NaOH or Na3PO4 as a boiler compound, we should control them suitably to the standard. 4) Comparatively 6 enterprises furnished with the boiler feed softener and the experimental system of boiler water are controling the water for boiler adjacently to the standard, but they are not thought to be perfect.
