As the interest on the air pollution is gradually rising up at home and abroad, automotive and fuel researchers have been working on the exhaust emission reduction from vehicles through a lot of approaches, which consist of new engine design, innovative after-treatment systems, using clean (eco-friendly alternative) fuels and fuel quality improvement. This research has brought forward two main issues : exhaust emission and PM particle emissions of gasoline vehicle. Exhaust emission and PM(particulate matter) particle of automotive had many problem that cause of ambient pollution, health effects. The main particulate fraction of automotive exhaust emission consists of small particles. Because of their small size, inhaled particles may easily penetrate deep into the lungs. The rough surfaces of these particles make it easy for them to bind with other toxins in the environment, thus increasing the hazards of particle inhalation. Based on the oxygenated fuel types (MTBE, Bio-ETBE, Bio-ethanol, Bio-butanol), this paper discussed the influence of oxygen contents on gasoline vehicle exhaust and nano-particle emissions. Also, this paper assessed exhaust emission characteristics using 2 type test mode. The test modes were CVS-75 and HWFET mode.
고유황 경유가 자동차 배출가스 및 입자개수에 미치는 영향 연구

As oil prices rise, cases of using marine diesel by mixing it with automobile diesel or directly using marine diesel are increasing in some coastal areas. Unlike vehicle diesel, marine diesel contains a significant amount of sulfur, which poisons the catalyst of the reduction device installed to reduce emission, increasing emission and causing malfunction. In this study, the effect of high sulfur diesel on the emission and particle number of old diesel vehicles and the latest regulated vehicles was studied. Compared to general diesel, NMHC emission gas concentration increased by 248.3%, CO 195.2%, NOx 33.0%, and PM 33.2% in old diesel vehicles to which high sulfur diesel was applied. In the case of emissions of the latest regulated vehicles, the level of gaseous emission increase was lower than that of old diesel vehicles, but in the case of PM and PN, they increased significantly by 335.5% and 511.4%, respectively. As such, it was confirmed that sulfur oxides(SOx) generated during combustion in the engine poisoned the catalyst in the reduction device and deteriorated the performance, thereby increasing the emission. In addition, when high sulfur diesel is used for a long period of time, it is judged that it will cause failure of expensive emission reduction devices such as DOC, DPF, and SCR, which will greatly affect parts damage and driver safety threats.
Gerber CAD 데이타로부터 PCB 패턴 검색을 위한 참조 모델 생성

최근에 생산되는 인쇄회로기판(PCB)은집적화 되고 복잡해짐에 따라, 사람에 의한 시각 검색 방법으로는 빠르고 정확하게 PCB를 검색할 수 없게 되었다. 이런 복잡한 PCB 검색을 자동화하기 위한 PCB 자동 시각 검색의 요구가 강력히 대두되었다. PCB의 불량을 검출하는 자동 검색 알고리즘은 크게 참조비교방법(Reference Comparison)과 설계 규칙에 의한 검증 방법(Design Rule Verification)으로 나눌 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 그래프정합에 의한 참조비교방법인 Pattern Attributed Hypergraph (PAHG)방법에 의해 PCB 패턴의 결점이 검출된다고 가정하여, Gerber 포맷으로 표현된 PCB용 CAD 데이타로부터 PAHG 참조 모델을 직접 생성하는 방식을 제안한다. 또한 참조 모델의 자동 생성을 구현하기 위해 PAHG의 표현 방식을 구체화하였고, Gerber 포맷으로 표현된 PCB용 CAD 데이타를 이용하여 세그먼트화, 영역 분할, 공간 관계를 추출하는 알고리즘들을 제시하였으며, 제안된 방식의 유효성을 실험을 통해 검증하였다. According as the patterns of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) become denser and complicated, human operator can no longer inspect PCB visually with accuracy and fastness. Thus, automatic visual inspection of PCB is required. Automatic visual inspection approaches to detect faults in PCB can be classified into two: reference comparison and design rule verification. In the first approach, test PCB patterns are compared with reference model. This paper presents how to generate reference model directly from Gerber CAD data, assuming models are represented by PAHG(Pattern Attributed HyperGraph). We develop 1) an implemental scheme of PAHG, and 2) several algorithms for segmenting, partitioning regions, and extracting regional relations from PCB CAD data instead of PCB image data. Experimental results show the validity of the proposed schemes.
