존 밀턴의 초기작과 유럽문학 전통

본 논문은 1645년에 출판된 존 밀턴의 작품집에 포함된 라틴어, 이탈리아어 시에서 유럽 문학의 전통, 특히 희랍로마 고전문학의 전통과 이탈리아 연애시와 소네트 전통이 어떻게 드러났는지 살핀다. 밀턴의 작품집은 책의 구성 자체가 영어시와 라틴어 시 부분이 별도로 구성되어 있고 이 시집 자체도 여러 언어를 구사하는 작가의 성취로 홍보되었다. 라틴어 시의 경우를 보면, 밀턴은 「아버님께」, 「만소」와 「데이몬의 비문」처럼 희랍로마 고전의 막대한 영향을 그대로 드러내면서 라틴어 시를 쓰긴 했으나 동시에 그는 이 시들에서 젊은 시인으로서의 야심을 대담하게 표출하고 사적인 감정을 토로하며 라틴어를 자신의 시적 언어로서 충분히 사용하였다. 이탈리아인 여성을 연모하며 이탈리아어로 연애시를 쓰는 상황을 그린 이탈리아어 소네트와 칸초네는 밀턴이 연애시라는 장르를 시도해보고 이탈리아어도 연습하는 기회였던 걸로보인다. 이 시들에서 밀턴은 페트라르칸 소네트 전통을 의식하고 이용하되 외국어 문학 전통과 외국어로 시를 쓰는 영국 시인이라는 자의식을 드러내는 데에 더 중점을 두면서 페트라르칸 소네트 전통에 적극적으로 참여하는 데에는 이르지 않았다. John Milton’s first poetry book published in 1645 was presented as a multi lingual work. Several classical and European literary traditions had merged throughout the volume and let the English author find his own poetic voice and develop his style. In “Ad Patrem” and “Mansus,” though they were written in Latin, the poet boldly presented his ideal of art and his poetic ambition, which he never mentioned in his English poems at that time. “Epitaphium Damonis” has one of the most personal grieves we can find in his works and also evinces his ability to utilize varying classical traditions exhaustively. Compared with Latin poems, Italian poems sound rather conventional, probably because his level of linguistic fluency in the Italian language was lower. Most Italian poems belong to love poetry genre and are significantly influenced by the Petrarchan sonnet tradition though Milton only briefly mentioned unpersuasive reasons for his choice of the language in writing love poems. Comparing the Italian sonnets with Sonnet 9, which depicts an anonymous young Christian woman, we can see that Milton slowly moves from the love poetry tradition to a Christian poetry.

Reconsidering Political Readings of John Milton’s Early Poetry and Andrew Marvell

This article examines John Milton’s early works and Andrew Marvell’s “The Nymph complaining for the Death of her Fawn” and questions the efficiency of criticisms that retroactively read the poets’ works, focusing on their later political career during the English civil war. Milton’s early pieces like “Arcades” and A Maske have several noticeable similarities with Caroline authors’ works and they can be viewed as products of the time, even if his later criticism of monarchy is undeniable. Some of Marvell’s mid century political poems have puzzled critics when they attempt to present the poet as a strong supporter of republicanism, and less attention has been given to how his lyric poems can be read along with those political poems. “The Nymph complaining for the Death of her Fawn,” though it doesn’t refer to any specific political events, subtly reflects the violence and desperation that are commonly found in the turbulent period. Both poets’ cases show limitations of political reading of literary texts, selectively highlighting certain phases or works of the authors whose lives and works are multi-faceted.

시인의 공동체와 정치적 현실

It is well known that Andrew Marvell, a renowned master of lyric poetry, was deeply involved in the historical reality of the English Civil war and produced a few interesting political poems including “An Horatian Ode.” This essay addresses Marvell’s two poems on his contemporary poets, “To his Noble Friend Mr Richard Lovelace” and “Tom May’s Death,” and discusses what Marvell viewed as the ideals that poets should seek for. In the two poems, while Marvell is keenly aware of the political changes during the turbulent period and the impacts of the war on the literature and writers, he warns his readers of the dangers of the politically oriented reading, which can blind them on the other aspects of literary works. He also emphasizes the moral integrity, artistry, and autonomy of poets as essential qualities. As is shown in Ben Jonson’s speech in “Tom May’s Death,” poets’ role is defined as voicing courageously their critical views and contributing to fellow poets and the society even in adverse situations, regardless of personal gains. Criticizing May and showing respect for Lovelace, Marvell also shows both poetry and the society will suffer through the demise of good writing and authors and the lack of healthy literary community.

유아교육학 분야에서의 유아 동물 매개 활동 관련 연구동향

본 연구는 유아교육학 분야에서의 유아 동물 매개 활동 관련 연구동향을 분석하여 후속 연구를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이에 2000년 1월부터 2023년 8월까지의 국내 학술논문과 학위논문 총 86편을 수집하여 시기별, 방법별, 주제별, 논의 및 시사점별로 분석한 결 과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시기별 분석 결과 학술논문은 2011년부터 2014년 시기에 급격히 증가하다 감소하였고, 학위논문은 2000년부터 현재까지 증가하고 있음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 주로 유아를 대상으로 실내에서 곤충류를 매개로 실행되었으며, 연구방법은 질적연구와 양적연구의 비율이 같았다. 셋째, 연구주제는 유아 발달 관련이 가장 많았다. 넷째, 논의 및 시사점 부분의 내용은 주로 개인적·조직적 측면의 효과, 연구방법의 보완, 활동 지속을 위한 지원 관련 내용이었다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 연구대상을 다양한 교육 주체로 확대한 연구, 교육과정 과 연계한 일상에서의 관계·소통·치유의 가치 탐구를 위한 연구방법의 다각적인 시도, 학제간 교류 및 학문적 심화의 필요성을 시사점으로 제안하였다. This study provides basic data for follow-up research by analyzing research trends related to animal-mediated activities in the field of early childhood education. Accordingly, classifying and analyzing a total of 86 domestic academic and degree papers from January 2000 to August 2023 by period, method, subject, discussion, and implications revealed the following. First, academic papers increased and decreased rapidly from 2011 to 2014, and degree papers have been increasing from 2000 to the present. Second, the study mainly involved infants, mediated insects indoors, and the ratio of qualitative and quantitative studies was the same. Third, the study had the most topics related to child development. Fourth, the discussion and implications were related to the effects of individual, organizational aspects, supplementation of research methods, and support for continuing activities. Based on the analysis results, various research methods were proposed to explore the value of relationships, communication, and healing in daily life. Regarding the curriculum, interdisciplinary exchanges and academic deepening were suggested as implications.

교사용 유아 리더십 검사 개발을 위한 1차 타당화 연구

본 연구에서는 교사용 유아 리더십 검사를 개발하고 표준화 하기 위하여 1차적으로 타당화 작업을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 절차를 거쳤다. 첫째, 문헌분석을 통해 유아 리더십의 개념을 정의하고, 측정 구인을 검토하여 전문가 심층면접을 실시하여 유아 리더십에 대한 구인을 확인하였다. 둘째, 이를 기반으로 문항 개발 후 전문가의 내용 타당도를 확보하고 예비 검사 실시 후 문항의 보완, 수정 과정을 거쳐 133문항을 확정하였다. 개발된 검사는 3개 차원, 7개 하위영역, 25개 요소이며, 각 차원은 영역을 포함하는 형태로 창의적 리더십, 셀프 리더십, 서번트 리더십으로 구성되었다. 창의적 리더십은 창의적 능력, 인지적 능력, 의사결정력을, 셀프 리더십은 자기관리와 건설적 사고를, 서번트 리더십은 타인존중과 공동체배려를 포함하였다. 셋째, 교사용 유아 리더십 검사의 타당화를 위하여 서울, 경기, 인천지역 6, 7세 1,046명의 유아를 대상으로 검사를 실시하였으며, 검사의 신뢰도(Cronbach α)를 확인하였으며(전체 신뢰도 .99, 창의적 리더십 .98, 셀프 리더십 .96, 서번트 리더십 .96), 타당도 확인을 위하여 구인들 간의 상호상관관계(.70∼.94)와 확인적 요인분석(적합도 지수 NFI 0.903, CFI 0.911, NNFI 0.900)을 실시하여 구인들 간의 관련성을 설정하고 다양한 적합도 지수를 알아본 결과 양호한 적합도를 보여주었다. 이를 종합적으로 고려할 때, 교사용 유아 리더십 검사의 구조 모형과 검사도구는 대체로 타당하다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발한 교사용 유아 리더십 검사는 유아의 현재 리더십에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있음으로 인해 앞으로 유아 리더십 교육 프로그램 구성에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. It is important to screen leadership at the level of infants schools. Because screening and measure of leadership is linked to program eligibility, developing an assessment tool for leadership is an important step to serve this population. This study focused on developing and validating the leadership scale for infants schools teachers. The subjects were 1,046 students from 6 to 7 year infants and their teachers. Drawing on the literature review and leadership ability domains were conceptualized and the Scale was developed. Although the areas to be assessed are similar for all students, for infants, the assessment techniques and tests require special characteristics. The result of this study were as follows : 1. Teachers' leadership scale were validated. 2. Infants leadership sub-variable were identified. In conclusion, even though there are some limitation in research design, it can be concluded that the Leadership Scale is a useful tool for infants education. Despite some limitations, the present study has significance in that this study developed an effective measurement tool to enhance leadership education for infants. It also anticipated that this study will serve as a stimulus to further study on leadership education for infants.
