Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS) is characterized by recurrent, periodic, self-limiting vomiting. However, its pathogenesis is not yet established. We investigated the changes of the cerebral glucose metabolism using F-18 FDG during the vomiting attack and symptom free period in two children with CVS. FDG PET study showed the markedly increased metabolism in both temporal lobes and also in the medulla and cerebellum during the vomiting period. Also, FDG PET showed the decreased metabolism in the parieto-occipital and occipital areas during the vomiting period. The area with decreased metabolism seemed to be related with the region showing abnormalities in EEG and perfusion SPECT studies. We expect that what we observed would be a helpful finding in clarifying the pathogenesis of the CVS. (Korean J Nucl Med 200135:198-204)

This research was aimed at present a new teaching method that applied utility of metadiscourse to academic writing. Accordingly, I examined in order of pretest, teaching writing, posttest of participants, and I observed pretest and posttest in a point of view expansion of metadiscourse and ideaunit. Participants were 5 foreign learners of Japanese(Chinese 3, German 1, Indonesian 1), who submitted pretest, posttest, and all of the writing subject. As a result, I got the follow results. (1)It is observed the expansion of metadiscourse. (2)It is observed variation between pretest and posttest in a point of view total of the sub-factor of metadiscourse. (3)The sum of the ideaunit between pretest and posttest was same.
얼굴인식 알고리즘을 활용한 잠금해제 및 자율주행 약제배송로봇 개발

본 논문은 COVID-19와 같은 전염병 확산 방지를 위해 비대면 약제배송로봇을 제안한다. 제안한 로봇은 OpenCV와 Q-Learning기반의 모델을 사용하여 실시간 영상처리로 사람의 얼굴을 식별한다. 환자의 얼굴, 나이, 전달 약제 등을 환자 데이터베이스에 등록한다. 카메라로 인식된 환자의 얼굴과 데이터베이스 내 환자의 얼굴이 일치할 경우 잠금장치를 해제시켜 환자의 약제 수령을 허용한다. 또한 어플리케이션을 통해 약제가 올바르게 전달되었는지 2차적으로 확인한다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제안한 로봇은 비대면으로 환자에게 약을 전달함으로써 입원병동에서 발생할 수 있는 전염병 확상의 방지에 효과적으로 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
전두엽 간질에서 F - 18 - FDG PET 의 간질병소 국소화 성능 ; 육안 판독과 SPM 에 의한 분석

N/A Purpose: We evaluated the sensitivity of the F-18 FDG PET by visual assessment and statistical parametric mapping (SPM) analysis for the localization of the epileptogenic zones in frontal lobe epilepsy. Materials and Methods: Twenty-four patients with frontal lobe epilepsy were examined. All patients exhibited improvements after surgical resection (Engel class I or II). Upon pathological examination, 18 patients revealed cortical dysplasia, 4 patients revealed tumor, and 2 patients revealed cortical scar. The hypometabolic lesions were found in F-18 FDG PET by visual assessment and SPM analysis. On SPM analysis, cutoff threshold was changed. Results: MRI showed structural lesions in 12 patients and normal results in the remaining 12. F-18 FDG PET correctly localized epileptogenic zones in 13 patients (54%) by visual assessment. Sensitivity of F-18 FDG PET in MR-negative patients (50%) was similar to that in MR-positive patients (67%). On SPM analysis, sensitivity decreased according to the decrease of p value. Using uncorrected p value of 0.05 as threshold, sensitivity of SPM analysis was 63%, which was not statistically different from that of visual assessment. Conclusion: F-18 FDG PET was sensitive in finding epileptogenic zones by revealing hypometabolic areas even in MR-negative patients with frontal lobe epilepsy as well as in MR-positive patients. SPM analysis showed comparable sensitivity to visual assessment and could be used as an aid in the diagnosis of epileptogenic zones in frontal lobe epilepsy. (Korean J Nucl Med 200135:131-141)

The purpose of this study is to compare the items of management expense of the public rental apartments and the owned apartments with similar age of construction and similar number of households, and consequently to reveal the cause of big differences of the items. The survey was conducted on the 5 rental apartment complexes and another 5 corresponding owned apartment complexes. Their management expense reports with detailed items of the year 2015 were got from ‘The K-apt System’. Major findings were as follows. (1) The average of total management expense of rental apartment complexes was higher by type than that of the owned apartment complexes. (2) The items making the average higher to the rental apartment complexes were personnel expense, electric charge and general expense. 3. The burden of residents of the rental apartments, however, was not so heavy, according to the management heads of complexes. It was told that the personnel expense might be paid by LH Corporation, the builder, and the electric charge might be paid from the subsidy of local government or supplemented by the extra revenue of complexes.
게이트 심근 SPECT 를 이용한 비침습적 심실 수축력 측정방법의 재현성

N/A Purpose: We tried to establish the reproducibility of the measurement of maximal elastance (Emax) and to compare the degree of the reproducibility of two estimation methods: single pressure-volume loop method and parameter optimization method. Materials and methods: In 47 patients (42 males and 5 females, 53±10 years old) with suspected coronary artery disease (ejection fraction; 22-68%), gated Tc-99m MIBI myocardial SPECT and arterial tonometry were acquired. In 11 patients among these 47 patients, gated SPECT and tonometry were performed twice consecutively with patients in situ. Emax and void volume (Vo) were estimated using single pressure-volume loop method of Lee and parameter optimization method based on linear approximation of Yoshizawa. Correlation between the consecutive measurements by each method and correlation between the two estimation methods were compared. Results: Reproducibility of Emax (r=0.96) and Vo (r=0.99) by single pressure-volume method was better than the reproducibility of Emax (r=0.89) and Vo (r=0.64) by parameter optimization method. Correlations of Emax and Vo were fair between the two methods. The correlation of Emax (r=0.77) was better than that of Vo (r=0.65). Conclusion: Reproducibility of Emax measurement by single pressure-volume loop method using gated myocardial SPECT and arterial tonometry was excellent. Reproducibility by parameter optimization method was also fair but was less than that achieved by single pressure-volume method. (Korean J Nucl Med 200135:152-160)
