In large-scale metrology field, 3D surface measurement of large-scale hull pieces is needed for fabrication and assembly, Until now, there is not such an efficient method as a standard ruler on 3D profile measurement of large-scale curvature plates. We suggest an efficient method of 3D profile measurement to obtain the xyz-coordinates of curvatures plates. The measurement system comprise diffraction source made of diffractive optical element(DOE) and performs profile measurement by projecting structured light source on the object surface.

In the transportation industry, especially in the shipbuilding process, 3D surface measurement of large-scale hull pieces is needed for fabrication and assembly. We suggest an efficient method for checking the shape of curved plates under the forming operation with short time by measuring 3D profiles along the multi lines of the target surface. For accurate profile reconstruction, 2D camera calibration and 3D calibration using gauge blocks were performed. The evaluation test shows that the measurement accuracy is within the boundary of tolerance required in the shipbuilding process.
실리콘 웨이퍼 휨형상 측정 정밀도 향상을 위한 시스템변수 보정법

As a result of a mismatch of the residual stress between both sides of the silicon wafer, which warps and distorts during the patterning process. The accuracy of the warpage measurement is related to the calibration. A CCD camera was used for the calibration. Performing optimization of the error function constructed with phase values measured at each pixel on the CCD camera, the coordinates of each light source can be precisely determined. Measurement results after calibration was performed to determine the warpage of the silicon wafer demonstrate that the maximum discrepancy is 5.6㎛ with a standard deviation of 1.5㎛ in comparison with the test results obtained by using a Form TalySurf instrument.

Oil-related products have provided many benefits to humanity, but are significant contributors to environmental pollution. As per the International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements, in the future, all ships must be equipped with filtering equipment and 5ppm bilge alarms that can help remove or reduce oil products during wastewater treatment. In this study, a UV fluorescence measurement system that can detect the oil components in wastewater containing both water and oil was developed. When an excitation wavelength of 254nm was used to irradiate the wastewater, the amount of UV at a divergent wavelength of 360nm was measured to measure the contamination. Based on the measurement, it was concluded that this system is suitable for use as the 5ppm bilge alarm proposed by IMO.
