Vane-type Static Mixer 최적설계를 위한 기하학적 변수에 따른 혼합유동특성에 관한 수치적 연구

In this work, the mixing flow characteristic of a vane-type static mixer were carried out numerically to reduce the NOx in the SCR-system of the diesel engines. The mixer was located in the 10 times pipe diameter away from the inlet. The analysis were performed by changing angles, blockage ratio and location of the vane. The flow structure through the mixer was characterized by uniformity index, swirl number and pressure drop. The results show that uniformity index, pressure drop and swirl number are influenced by the angle, blockage ratio and position of the vane of the mixer. In particular, swirl number was increased near the pipe wall or by increasing angle or by expending scale of the vane.

An experimental study was performed to investigate the effect of burner nozzle exit geometry and fuel/air mixing patterns on flame shape and its temperature. A conventional field burner and those of improved. Which had a swirler and asymmetric burner nozzle exit, were tested. A premixed type burner with an asymmetric burner exit and a swirler showed the shortest flame length. It also showed that temperature had been increased up to 8% compared than that of a conventional premixed type burner with symmetric burner exit which had no swirler.
