A pressure measurement system was developed to verify magnitude and position of transferred pressure on the body surface during the intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) which is one of the most well-known methods for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Eighty force sensing resistors (FSR) were arranged on a mannequin leg and a hardware controller sensed, digitized, and transferred pressure data every second while IPC was being applied. Finally, sensed pressure data were color coded and visualized on the 3D model with lab-developed software. The pressure data were also saved to files for further analysis. Using this measurement system, the changing pattern of pressure was measured on the mannequin leg by changing both chamber pressure and cuff tightness. As a result, net pressure transferred onto the body surface is dependent on chamber pressure and cuff tightness. Under the same chamber pressure, the tighter a cuff was worn, the wider compressed area was and the shorter compression cycle was. Also transferred pressure was proportional to both chamber pressure and cuff tightness.

Recently, due to concerns about the emission of greenhouse gases, there are increasing interests in the vehicle weight down to reduce fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, particularly CO₂-Substitutions of HSS(High Strength Steels) and TWB(Tailored Welded Blanks) offer an excellent opportunity to reduce vehicle weights and thus the energy required for acceleration. This paper, which is the one pan of High Safety and Light-weight vehicle Developments within the National Project on the Next Generation vehicle, concentrates the light-weight design of Longitudinal member using HSS and TWB and suggests the front end section of Longitudinal member for effective crash energy absorption. This work meets the 20% weight reduction target and maintains the crash performance of the base model.
영화공급사슬 내 성과정보와 입소문 효과의 동적상호작용에 대한 연구

When studying the film industry, researchers have seldom addressed the dynamic interaction between marketing information and word of mouth in the motion picture industry mainly because of the limitation of traditional research methodologies. This study explores integration and competition among important variables influencing on audience"s choice on movie selection, particularly by using a new method of agent-based modeling including competitive environment. Decision process of moviegoer composed of transition probability based on multinomial logit model, considering marketing and box-office information, critique, and word of mouth from other moviegoers. After validating the fitness of market share among released movies, this study conducted a set of simulation experiments considering several variables such as market size, change of weight between variables, and movie performance under competition. Propositions are derived from the simulation results is also suggested for future research.

3DP(three dimensional printing) technology is one of SFF(solid freeform fabrication) technologies which have recently come into a spotlight due to its adaptability to various applications. This technology has a great advantage in terms of short fabrication time for a prototype at a low cost, especially when it comes with multi-nozzle inkjet printing technology. However, it has also a disadvantage since it requires additional curing time, after jetting a binder material, and post-processing time in order to increase the mechanical strength of a product. In this study, a novel 3DP process is proposed to overcome slow solidification and elaborate post-process by adopting photo curing method into the conventional 3DP process. Mechanical properties, such as tensile and bending strengths, of specimens fabricated with the proposed 3DP process were measured and compared with those fabricated with the conventional 3DP process. As a result, it is found that mechanical strengths of specimens from the proposed novel 3DP process show over 10 times higher than those from the conventional 3DP process.

수소염화불화탄소(hydrochlorofluorocarbons, HCFC)는 대표적인 지구 온난화 유발의 온실가스이다. 이를 회수, 처리하기 위한 다양한 방법이 이미 존재하고 있으나 본 연구에서는 대체방안으로 하이드레이트 기반 가스분리(hydrate-based gas separation, HBGS)법을 제안하고자 한다. HCFC-22, HCFC-142b, N<sub>2</sub>로 구성되는 두 종류의 혼합 가스에 대하여 가스하이드레이트 상평형 조건을 측정하였다(8.01:12.01:79.98 / 20.01:30.00:49.99). 이들 측정된 상평형 조건은 HBGS법의 운전 조건 결정에 필수적인 데이터이다. 측정된 평형 조건을 기반으로 Clausius-Clapeyron식을 적용한 하이드레이트 해리 엔탈피를 계산할 수 있었고, X-ray diffraction을 이용한 생성 하이드레이트의 결정 구조를 분석하였다. 또한 하이드레이트 생성 속도 측정에 대한 실험을 수행하였고, 이때 발생하는 가스 조성의 변화를 측정하였다. 결과적으로는 하이드레이트 결정의 성장보다는 결정핵 생성이 매우 중요한 운전 인자가 되며, 시스템의 압력에 크게 영향을 받는다는 사실을 알 수 있었다.

영화 장르에 대한 기존 연구는 특정 장르와 영화 성과간의 유의성 검증에 집중하였다. 그러나 기존 연구는 대상 국가 및 시기에 따라 서로 다른 결과를 보여주고 있어 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 얻는 데 어려움이 있으며 주로 단일 장르와 성과 간의 관계에 집중했기 때문에, 최근 중요하게 부각되고 있는 복합 장르 문제를 이해하는 데 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사회연결망 분석 방법과 복합 장르 자료를 활용하여 장르 간 네트워크를 구성하고 장르 중심성과 영화 성과와의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 장르 중심성과 영화 성과 간에는 역 U 형태의 관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 지나친 ‘탐색’과 지나친 ‘활용’보다는 이 둘 간의 직절한 균형이 필요하다는 이론적 주장을 지지하는 결과이다. 본 연구는 실무적 차원에서 영화장르의 범위와 조합을 선택하는 데에도 유용하게 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 향후 연구에서 연구 대상을 확대하고 장르 간 연결에 대한 질적 분석을 수행한다면 연구의 신뢰성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대하며 영화산업의 성장과정과 연계한 장르 네트워크의 동적 연구로도 확장 가능할 것이다. Existing researches on movie genre have been focusing on the relationship between a specific genre and performance of a movie. However, most of films cross into multiple genres and new approach is needed for analyzing a genre network. In this study social network analysis was used to analyze the genre centrality and its relationship with movie performance by developing a genre network, i.e. network among multiple genres constructed via genre co-occurrence pattern in a specific movie. Three index of genre centrality, eigenvector centrality, degree centrality, and bonacich power centrality, were tested for the valued genre network. Results showed that the relationship between genre centrality and movie performance appeared to be inverted U-shaped. This empirical finding is in line with the theory of ambidexterity which emphasizes the balance of exploration and exploitation. In addition, this study can provide practical implications for movie producers, distributors, and theaters that need to develop genre strategies.
