This paper deals with designing a ground-based longitudinal landing controller which is robust to datalink time delays. Time delays occur because forward velocity measurements are downlinked and the controller output commands are uplinked. An H∞, controller was designed by using the input/output decomposition where time delay is modeled as a first-order system with Pade approximation. Linear simulations show that the system tracks well the predefined path and is robust to the variation of time delay.

As the demand of high accuracy positioning for dynamic users increases, Network RTK is actively researched for dynamic users. Network RTK is a system which provides precise positioning in the range of about 50 to 70km radius using carrier phase measurements from several reference stations. By configuring multiple clusters, which provide Network RTK corrections independently, as a single system, it could provide precise positioning for a wider area. In this paper, we have studied how to efficiently operate multiple clusters in the Korean Peninsula. We analyzed the computational load according to the configuration of a multi-cluster system and proposed a method of selecting the main reference station and system infrastructure configuration for efficient operation. In order to analyze the effects of each proposed method, 71 clusters were constructed using the reference stations of the National Geographic Information Institute and simulations were conducted. As a result of the simulation, system computation amount was reduced by 66 % and system configuration cost was reduced by 90 %.

This paper suggests a method combining Compact RTK (Real Time Kinematic) and Reference Station (RS) networking technique, and shows this method can reduce both temporal and spatial decorrelation error. Compact RTK"s compatibility with all the conventional Network RTK methods, i.e. Master-Auxiliary concept (MAC), Virtual Reference Stations (VRS), and Flachen-korrektur-parameter (FKP), is examined theoretically in this paper. To prove that the Compact RTK is not only valid, but also helpful to the Network RTK system, we construct a field test using 1 hour rinex data logged every second from CORS RS. No matter which network RTK method may be applied, Compact Network RTK resolves the ambiguity of the carrier phase in 10-40 seconds and determines the position with 6~7cm horizontal and 7~8cm vertical error (95%) in the 100 by 100 km region. Moreover, the Compact Network RTK enables Network RTK service providers to reduce a datalink bandwidth for correction message to 5~700bps from several thousand bps, currently 9600bps of GPRS/GSM, without a severe degradation of accuracy.
Vol.51 No.3
이를 위해 분리된 모듈 간 데이터 입출력을 RS-232 통신을 활용하여 MATLAB 기반의 SILS(Software-In-the-Loop Simulation), OBC상의 RTOS(Real-Time Operation System) 기반의 PILS(Processor-In-the-Loop Simulation)를 각각 수행하고, 결과물을 비교함으로써 구현된 소프트웨어의 수치적 유효성을 검증한다. This paper presents a real-time software verification technique for the attitude determination and control system (ADCS) of CubeSats. The on-board computer (OBC) of the CubeSat is equipped with a single core and limited redundancy, making it essential for reliable software to be installed. In consideration of cost, development time, resources, and manpower, an accessible software verification method is necessary. Based on this point of view, this paper first performs a model-in-the-loop simulation (MILS) using MATLAB, a commonly used software in educational institutions for ADCS design. Based on the designed model, software verification is performed by separating the space environment simulator, which provides dynamic models and sensor measurements, and the ADCS module. RS-232 communication is used for data input and output between these modules, and MATLAB-based software-in-the-loop simulation (SILS) and OBC-based processor-in-the-loop simulation (PILS), which is implemented in a real-time operating system (RTOS), are performed. The validity of the implemented software is verified by comparing the results. The proposed technique was validated by presenting the numerical errors of the SILS and PILS results of the SNUGLITE-II CubeSat ADCS.
