The phytochemical study of the aerial parts of Artemisia slyvatica(Asteraceae) led to the isolation of nine sesquiterpene lactones, 1-alpha-hydroperoxy-rupicolin A acetate(1), rupicolin B acetate(2), rupicolin A acetate(3), 1-alpha-hydroxy-4-alpha-hydroperoxy-bishopsolicepolide(4), 1-alpha-hydroperoxy-4-beta-hydroxy-8-alpha-acetoxy-guaia-2,9,11(13)-triene-6-alpha,12-olide(5), 1-alpha-hydroperoxy-4-alpha-bishoplicepolide(6), 1-alpha-4-beta-dihydroxy-8-alpha-acetoxy-guaia-2,9,11(13)-triene-6-alpha-12-olide(7), rupicolin A(8) and 1-alpha-4-alpha-dihydroxybisphopsolicedpolide(9). Their structures were established by chemical and spectroscopic methods.

From the MeOH extract of Bombycis corpus inoculated by Beauberia bassiana 101A, two cyclodepsipeptides, bassianolide (1) and beaubericin (2), were isolated and their structures were determined by one and two dimensional NMR studies. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited cytotoxicity against cultured human tumor cell lines.

The acivity-guided fractionation on the MeOH extract of Bombycis corpus inoculated by Beauberia bassiana 101A led to the isolation of two steroids, 24-ethylcholest-4-ene-3,6-dione (1) and ergosterol peroxide (2), as active principles. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited cytotoxicity against cultured human tumor cell fines, A-549, SK-OV-3, SK-MEL-2, XF-498 and HCT-15 with ED50 values ranging from 3.42 to 11.37mcg/ml.

Two carotenoids and four flavonoids were isolated from the whole plant of Artemisia sylvatica Max. Their structures were identified as ${\beta}-carotene$, lutein, luteolin, rutin, $pectolinarigenin-7-O-{\beta}-glucopyranoside$ and luteolin-7-O-neohesperidoside on the basis of spectroscopic means.

Three sesquiterpene lactones (1, 2 and 5) and two lipid glycerols (3 and 4) were isolated from MeOH extract of Ainsliaea acerifolia (Compositae). Based on spectral data, their chemical structures were determined as estafiatone (1), zaluzanin C (2), 3-O-(9Z, 12Z, 15Z-octadecatrienoyl) glycerol (3), 3-O-(9Z, 12Z-octadecadienoyl) glycerol (4) and glucozaluzanin C (5). Compounds 1, 3 and 4 were previously not reported from Ainsliaea species.

A new cytotoxic triterpene hydroperoxide (3) was isolated from the methylene chloride extract of the aerial part of Youngia japonica together with four known triterpenes (1, 2, 4 and 5). Their structures were identified by means of physico-chemical and spectral data to be (3-amyrin acetate (1 ),taraxasterol (2),21 a-hydroperoxy-taraxasterol (3),oleanolic acid (4) and ursolic acid (5). Compounds 3 and 5 showed moderate cytotoxicity against five tumor cell lines.

A new oxygenated monoterpene (4) was isolated from the methanol extract of the aerial part of Erechtites hieraceiolia together with six known components, a dimethylheptane (1), three ionone derivatives (2,3 and 7) and two phenylpropanoids (5 and 6). Their structures were identified by means of physico-chemical and spectral data to be (2E, 5E)-6-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylhepta-2,4-dienal (1), 3(R)- hydroxy-5,6- epoxy-β-ionone (2), 3(R)-hydroxy-5,6-epoxy-β-ionol (3), (3E, 6E)-3,7- dimethylocta-3,5-dien-1,2,7-trios (4), 2-hydroxy4- (2-propenyl)phenyl- β-D -glucopvanoside (5), 2-methoxy-7(2-pnpenyl)phenyl -β-D -glucopyra- noside (6) and (6R,9R)-3-oxo-β-ionol-α-D -glucopyranoside (7).

The phytochemical study of Viscum album (Loranthaceae) led to the isolation of twelve compounds, lupeol (1), betulonic acid (2), betulinic acid (3), termitic acid (4), ursolic acid (5), β-sitosterol (6),α- spinasterol (7), oleanolic acid (8), 5- hydroxy-1-(4'- hydoxyphenyl)-7-(4"-hydroxyphenyl)-hepta-1-en-3-on (9), 2'- hydroxy- 4',6'-dimethoxychalcone-4-0-glucoside (10), 2'-hydroxy-4',6'-dime thoxychalcon e-4-0-[apio-syl(1-> 2)]glucoside (11) and sringin (12). Their structures were established by chemical and spectroscopic methods. The cytotoxicity of the isolated compounds was evaluated by sulforhodamine B assay against five cultured human tumor cell lines.

Two polysaccharides, ACP-UMF and ACP-ULF, were purified from the aerial part of Artemisia capillaris by anion-exchange chromatography, ultrafiltration, and gel filtration chromatorgraphy. The polysaccharides appeared to be homogenious from the results of HPLC. The molecular weights of ACP-UMF and ACP-ULF were estimated to be 16305.92 D and 3292.23 D, respectively, by MALDI-TOF MS. The sugar compositions were determined by GC to be arabinose 10.05%, xylose 1.67%, mannose 5.45%, galactose 39.06%, glucose 15.43% for ACP-UMF and arabinose 11.60%, xylose 11.15%, mannose 6.37%, galactose 32.47%, glucose 18.35% for ACP-ULF. A polysaccharide, SP-M, was also purified from Artemisia sylvatica in the same manner as in A. capillaris. The molecular weight of SP-M was determined to be 2462.52 D by MALDI-TOF MS. SP-M consisted mainly of rhamnose 36.49%, arabinose 29.00%, and glucose 19.38%. Incubation of CCl4-intoxicated hepatocytes with ACP-UMF reduced the levels of glutamic pyruvic transaminase(GPT) and cellular malondialdehyde(MDA) to 62.8% and 23.8%. ACP-ULF also reduced the levels of GPT and MDA to 46.1% and 38.1% and SP-M to 38.8% and 26.3%, respectively.

본 논문에서는 조명 에너지 사용을 절감하기 위하여 RS-485를 이용하여 기존건물과 신축건물에서 조명을 자동으로 제어하는 장치를 설계하였다. 본 시스템은 조명기기를 제어하고자 하는 장소에 RS-485로 연결된 재실감지센서(ALSU : Auto Light Sensor Unit), 조명통합스위치(ALS : Auto Light Unit), 통신인터페이스를 이용한 모니터링 시스템(Hi-FACS)으로 구성되었다. 제안된 시스템에서 재실감지센서는 움직이는 물체를 감지하여 자동으로 조명기기를 제어하고, 조명통합스위치를 이용하여 자동 및 수동으로 제어가 가능하도록 설계되어 있다. 또한 모니터링 시스템을 이용하여 재실감지센서와 조명통합스위치로부터 조명기기의 상태를 입력받고, 자동제어시스템에 대한 운영, 조작 및 관리가 가능하여 체계적인 관리와 에너지 고효율화를 동시에 추구할 수 있는 구조로 되어 있다. 제안된 시스템의 기능성과 경제성을 기존 조명 제어시스템과 비교하고, 다양한 환경에서의 전력에너지사용량을 비교함으로써 제안된 시스템의 우수성을 보였다. This paper proposes a novel design of auto light control system with high efficiency using RS-485 to save lighting energy in new and existing buildings. The proposed system consists of ALSU(Auto Light Sensor Unit) which is connected with RS-485 to control lighting appliances, ALS(Auto Light Unit), and Hi-FACS which is a monitoring system using communication interface. Lighting appliances are automatically controlled by ALSU which detects moving objects. The total system is designed to be controlled by either manual or auto mode by using the ALS. In addition, the monitoring system receives the information on the state of the lighting appliances from ALSU and ALS to control the proposed system. We compared the proposed system with the conventional one in functionality and energy saving point of view. Through some experimental results, the proposed system shows better performance in various circumstances.
