발작성 야간혈색소뇨증은 만성적인 혈관 내 용혈, 야간혈색소뇨, 혈전색전증과 이차적 골수부전이 특징인 드문 후천적 조혈모세포 질환이다. 만성 복통과 동반된 철결핍빈혈은 소화관 암, 염증성 장질환 등의 소화기 질환으로 오인될 수 있으나 표준 검사에도 원인을 알 수 없었던 경우에는 드문 원인 질환의 감별 진단의 하나로 발작성 야간혈색소뇨증을 고려할 수 있다. 저자들은 만성 복통 및 철결핍빈혈이 동반된 환자에서 드문 원인인 발작성 야간혈색소뇨증으로 진단한 경험을 하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다. Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) is a rare acquired disorder of hematopoietic stem cells characterized by chronic intravascular hemolysis, nocturnal hemoglobinuria, thromboembolic events and secondary bone marrow failure caused by uncontrolled complement activation. Generally, chronic abdominal pain and iron deficiency anemia are considered typical symptoms of gastrointestinal diseases, but are also common in PNH. We report a case of PNH presenting with chronic abdominal pain and iron deficiency anemia, along with a relevant literature review. (Korean J Med 2020;95:56-60)

In this paper, a underwater acoustic Tonpilz transducer with the piezoelectric single crystal(72PMN-28PT) is developed. The thickness and the number of piezoelectric elements are theoretically designed with the equivalent circuit analysis to have the desired resonance frequency. In order to compare the performances, a piezoelectric ceramic transducer is also manufactured and their electrical impedance, TVR (transmitting voltage response), RVS (receiving voltage response) and beam pattern are compared.

The wave propagation characteristics of an acoustic metamaterial composed of periodically repeated one-dimensional Helmholtz resonator array was investigated considering the effects of dimensional changes of the resonator geometry on the transmission coefficient and band gap. The effective impedance and transmission coefficient of the acoustic metamaterials are obtained based on the acoustic transmission line method. The designed acoustic metamaterials exhibit band gaps and negative bulk modulus that are non-existent properties in the nature. The band gap of the acoustic metamaterial is strongly dependent on the geometry parameters of Helmholtz resonators and lattice spacing. Also, a new type of metamaterial that is periodically constructed with two different resonators was designed to open the local resonance band gap without change of Bragg scattering.
라우에 배면반사법을 이용한 PMN-PT 단결정 성장 방향 분석

In this paper, the growing orientation of PMN-PT single crystal is analyzed using the Laue-Back Reflection Method. Two kinds of PMN-PT single crystals are grown using the Bridgman growing method in the [001] and [111] directions and their the Laue photographs are simulated assuming cubic crystal systems. From the comparison between simulation and test results, it can be concluded that the single crystals are grown in the desired crystal orientations.
