This paper proposes a capacitive particulate matter(PM) sensor, which is a method for monitoring DPF(diesel particulate filter) leakage. The deposited particles on the sensor are burned off at elevated temperature by heating the sensor. In case of resistive PM sensors, output signals of the sensor are distorted severely by deposition of metallic particles on the sensor surface. The proposed capacitive sensor which has island sensing electrode structures, on the other hand, the influence of the deposited metallic particles on the sensor signals is decreased by capacitive sensing mechanism. The proposed sensor is fabricated on an alumina body and evaluated on a diesel engine. The sensor output signal is 150pF at specified PM concentration of 20mg/㎥. The output capacitance change of the sensor is 28pF in condition of severe contamination of the sensor surface by the metallic particles.

Tsurezuregusa by Yoshida Kenko (1282-1350) is the masterpiece of essay literature in the Middle Ages of Japan. Nature, human relations and social circumstances of his time with his mutability thought were described clearly in this work. He denies all the worldliness because he was deeply influenced by the traditional learning of the Dynasty Ages, so that he was full of eageness and retrospect thought for the old culture. His mutability in Tsurezuregusa comes from the reality denial of the vain world. This isthe sentimental, negative and Passive idea full of renunciation and recitation. Kenko doesn't stay here, but he tries to overcome the mutability, bravely encounting it. He engages in the seeking of truth through a life of seclution utilizing Buddhism and Taoism after casting off the worldiness. And he appeals them to prepare for the coming death and to Save the every moment by leading a righteous life. As we cannot know that we shall die tomorrow, this very moment is more important. To acknowledge mutability is to lead this life more worthly. He affirms mutability positively and his belief is that this world is worth while to live beautifully and animately because the world is very changeable. This sentimental ancient mutability has been developed selfacknowledging one. He sees the world in the changing aspect, and sees the eternity in the aspect of moment's change. Kenko who observes the developing changes of the worldand the development of reality dialectically assumes a View that this world is more important because there exists mutability. It is known that the "mutability" devdloped from Tsurezuregusa is the "philosophy of life."

5·7·7 rhyme song of ancient Japanese song is named KATAUTA meaning of part song. It has been recognized as a part of a song sung in a form of question-answer and was denied its uniqueness. This thesis is intended to prove the fact that this song is the unique and independent single song as it was originated from the religious rituals. As the song has dual quality; the uniqueness and stability in inverse state, there is a tendency that the uniqueness is lost when the stability is obtained and vice versa. In case of the song as a part of SAEDOUKA sung by a person, it loses its uniqueness instead of obtaining the stability In case that the song sung by two persons in the form of question and answer, it sustains both the stability and the uniqueness on halves. When it was presented in the form of the solo sung sung by one person, it plays the role of the concluding song at the end of series songs. Keeping track of the origin of the song sung by one person, it is founded out that these songs are monologues of God descended in religious rituals, a part of which is the single song with divine message. Accordingly, this song is a unique form of expression that is used ancient religious rituals.

Ancient Japanese People Perceived the outer world in sensive way as shown in most Primitive Southern oceanics. They could not grasp the idea unless they had the concrete cognition about the object. Therefore the words implying idealistic and abstractive notions were not much inferred in the old Japanese literature. In explaining a new Phenomena or a na lure of the object, duplicated explantions or discriptions from various aspects should be needed to define the real meaning. A lot of explanatory phrases which including both the subject and the predicate were used in the Question and the answer forms. The time passed on, these corresponding Pair phrases were abbreviated. As a result, the pillow word, a form of expression were originated from these abbreviation.
