As the bentonite is main material to prevent from collapse of drilling hole at underground excavation works, it is increased using quantity on construction industry day by day. But, the discarded bentonite that is over using at underground excavation works is caused various environmental trouble as soil and water pollution est. This study aims to propose a foundamental report for pozzolan reaction of discarded Bentonite powder by heat-treatment and cooling as concrete mineral admixture. To find out pozzolan reaction ability of discarded Bentonite powder by indirect cooling & cooling using of water after heat-treatment, the experiments are excuted Phenolphtalein test, setting test, pH test and the analysis by X-ray diffractor. As a result of this study, discarded Bentonite powder can be utilized as concrete mineral admixture by heat-treatment and especially, pozzolan reaction ability of discarded Bentonite powder is superior to the situation of 50$0^{\circ}C$~$700^{\circ}C$, 60min.

The Korean government makes an effort to raise the competitive power of nation through CM activation in the construction industry. Since the first CM service was applied to the atomic power plant project in 1986, the number of CM contracts are continuously being increased and will be up to 20% by 2002 in public sector. However, the public projects had been executed without any procedure manual or standard guideline of CM services. Meanwhile the Ministry of Construction and Transportation issued $\ulcorner$CM Service Guide$\lrcorner$, but the guide shows an indefinite description in the responsibility, authority and scope of activity for the project participants. Therefore, it is required the procedures be improved and scope of activities be established for the project participants. This study was generated from the comparative analysis of $\ulcorner$Standard CM Services and Practice$\lrcorner$ Published by CMAA and domestic $\ulcorner$CM Service Guide$\lrcorner$ and the case of Incheon International Airport construction. The purpose of this study is to provide the fundamental data for an improvement in the procedures of project execution and the construction manager's activities/rolls shown on $\ulcorner$CM Service Guide$\lrcorner$
소성 후 주수냉각한 폐 벤토나이트의 포졸란 반응성에 관한 실험적 연구

This study is the fundamental report to propose the capability of discarded Bentonite that is cooled by using water after heat-treatment as concrete mineral admixture. The experiments such as pozzolan reaction test and mortar test are excuted. As a result of pozzolan reaction test, discarded Bentonite reveals pozzolan reaction capability by heat-treatment, and especially, pozzolan reaction ability of discarded Bentonite is superior in the situation of 500℃∼700℃?60min. As a result of mortar test, compressive strength of mortar using discarded Bentonite by heat-treatment is superior in the case of 500℃, 600℃, 700℃?60min to plain mortar. Especially, in the case of 600℃?60min, as strength activity index is measured at 114%, it can be applied to concrete mineral admixture. But, flow of mortar using discarded Bentonite by heat-treatment is decreased.
廢콘크리트의 再活用을 위한 骨材 界面分離에 관한 實驗的 硏究

The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data on the optimum method for interfaclal separation for an effective recycle of concrete waste by using the thermal properties of concrete.<br/> Therefore, this study is proceeded by dividing the interface of concrete into cement paste and fine aggregates or mortar and coarse aggregate, considering the aspect of recycled cement and aggregate as the recycling use of concrete waste.<br/> As results of experiment, in case of recycle cement, the interfaciaI separation is easily appeared, yet it is shown that the mixed amount of powder included in fine aggregate greatly decreases.<br/> But, in case of recycle coarse aggregate, the effect of interfacial separation by preliminary heating is predominant. Especially, the bonding rate of mortar is the lowest during cycling heating 5 times every 120 minutes at 300℃.<br/> Hence, it is considered that it will be an excellent effect of quality control when applied to recycle coarse aggregate which is now in a phase of making practical based on the result of this research.
팽창 모르터의 구속효과에 따른 강도 발현 특성에 관한 연구

In order to present a database for development and commercialization of chemical prestress mortar or concrete, executed mortar's properties that change kind of expansive additives and the rate of substitution. This is what we were able to conclude: (1) Flow increased more or less according to use of expansive additives. This phenomenon was observed by increasing paste amount that shows as substitution for expansive additives that specific gravity is smaller than that of cement. (2) Compressive strength that uses expansive additives are higher or resemblant level than that of plain mortar in restrained circumstances. This could know that chemical prestress is introduced on mortar interior by binding mortar's expansive ability. (3) The mortar that manufacture binding expansive ability expressed higher tensile strength than plain mortar in all conditions, A-K expansive additives of tensile strength improvement effect were most superior. (4) Bending strength as experiment result expressed higher strength more than plain mortar in all conditions except for B-K expansive additive.
