지리신문 활용을 통한 지리수업 방법 : 구성주의적 접근을 중심으로

The purpose of this paper is to examine the applicability of the newspaper-using method in learning and teaching geography. This hypothesizes the concept of `the geographic newspaper and its application to learning' as one of the models of constructive learning and teaching in geography and examines the method and the effects on learning through experimental classes. The research was carried out in questioning 383 students of 9 classes of the first graders of Buuy high school for 4 months, from June 1st to September 30th, 1998. During this period, 4 types of geographic newspapers were edited and applied to each class four times. The results were analyzed by the t-test with one group pretest-posttest design. The results of this study are as follows: First, the methodology in the education of geography has changed in accordance with the changes of the constructive learning theory. The principles of constructivism are eight points such as a student-centeredness, collaborative learning, authentic task, reflective practice, teacher's role as an adviser, high-technology, various evaluations and student's construction of details of learning under overall aim. Among them, three principles such as reconstructing the contents, applying the materials and pupil-directed learning are taken to be the principles of constructive learning and teaching in geography. These three principles form a model of self-directed editing of geographic newspapers and applying them in learning and teaching geography. Second, editing geographic newspapers turned out to stimulate the activities of constructive learning and teaching such as active interaction, activation of geography education, teacher's role as a facilitator and adviser, pupil-directed learning, collaborative learning and self-construction of knowledge. Third, compared with the controlled lasses, the experimental classes done with geographic newspapers shows effectiveness in the light of interest, satisfaction, the growth in scholastic achievement, collaborative learning, the ability to apply information, self-directed learning and the applying the contents of classes though it gave students a heavy burden for prepare. We conclude that the theory of constructive learning and teaching is applicable to the theory for geography education. In addition, the development and application of teaching model to stimulate self-construction of knowledge like editing geographic newspaper can be used in geography education.

This study analyzes the dwelling-density through house units-type and the slope-angle from the terrace house complex on slope-site The results are summarized as follows 1) The increase of the floor area ratio concerns with the slope-angle of the site In low slope-angle, it has little difference between combination type, but the more the site incline the more the difference increase In same size of building area, slope-angle and combination-type, floor area ratio of the compact '-' units-type increase more maximum 25%, compared with the 'ㄱ' units-type 2) The building coverage subordinate to the combination-type, the selected units-type and combination-type turn up almost regularly in all inclination 3) The open space ratio per floor area influenced by the slope-angle of the site Inclining, the open space ratio per floor area decreases and so the open space of the house unit, too It is shown, that the difference between types in low inclined slope-sites are bigger than the ones in high inclined slope-sites
앙코르 王國의 寺院建築에 나타나는 배치특성에 관한 硏究

The purpose of this study is to find out the property of the Angkor Temple layout and present the basic research material about The Angkor Architecture. Khmer civilization constructed the temple for represent their religious sacredness and the temple was the house for God. The results of this study is as follows ; 1) Angkor Temple was consist of the tower-shrine, Bae-gyun(place of obeisance), library(stook room), fence(corridor), gate 2) Temple was arranged in geometrical squared and rectangle block plan. 3) Main tower-shrine(symbol of Meru Mt.) was placed at the center of temple, and Sub tower-shrine was placed at around the main tower-shrine. Tower-shrine was toward to East and libraries was placed at the front of that. 4) Main Axis was East-West, Sub-axis was North-South. 5) There was symmetrically repeated.
경사지 테라스하우스 활성화를 위한 건축법규에 관한 硏究

In this study, the Korean building code is compared with that of Swiss's and shows following facts. 1) Compared with Swiss by calculating the average ground level concerned with the height of building, numbers of stories, etc in slope-site, Korea has a disadvantage. But if deciding the low ground surface as the reference point, it can be reformed. 2) If want to secured the green area, then can be consider to method of limited floor space index, number of stories, and minimum green area. 3) Need to add the provide that except the concrete rooms by the considered characteristic slope~site, when calculating the floor space index.
