        Establishment of a special pathogen free Chinese Wuzhishan Minipigs Colony

        To meet the increasing demands of specific pathogen free (SPF) minipigs in biomedical researches, 8 pregnantChinese Wuzhishan minipigs (WZSP) sows with clear background were chosen to obtain SPF WZSP byhysterectomy. At 111 ± 2 days of the pregnancy, piglets were aseptically taken out from the sows and artificiallysuckled for 40 to 45 days in the positive isolators. Then, the piglets defined as F0 were transferred to barrierenvironment and fed with standard feeds. The original SPF colony was formed for breeding by selected pigletsfrom F0 group of 6–8 months old. Biological characteristics of SPF WZSP were collected and further compared tothose of conventional (CV) WZSP, including growth performance, reproductive performance, hematology and bloodbiochemistry, and major pathogens detection. As a result, 61 F0 piglets were obtained from 8 candidate sows, and55 out of them survived. After strictly selection, 35 F0 piglets were used to form the original SPF colony, whichproduced 14 litters of SPF piglets defined as F1. Piglet survival rates, growth performance, and reproductiveperformance of SPF WZSP were similar to CV WZSP. Some hematology and blood biochemistry parameters showedsignificant differences between SPF and CV WZSP. Eighteen kinds of pathogens were identified to be free in F0 andF1 SPF colony by repeated pathogen detections. In conclusion, we established a satisfied SPF WZSP colonymaintaining original characteristics, free of controlled diseases, and being proved to be a suitable laboratory animal

        Selective Synthesis of N,N-Bis(3-dimethylaminopropyl)amine over Pd/γ-Al2O3

        The synthesis of N,N-bis(3-dimethylaminopropyl)amine (BPA) from 3-(dimethylamino)-propionitrile (PN) and 3-(N,N-dimethylamino)propylamine (PA) over Pd/γ-Al2O3 in autoclaves was investigated. A series of Pd catalysts were prepared by different methods and characterized by XRD, TEM, and N2 adsorption–desorption. It was found that their activities were obviously affected by calcination temperature and reducing agent. Among them, the catalyst calcined at 500 °C and reduced with NaBH4 exhibited the best performance in this reaction. It was possibly attributed to the better dispersion of palladium particles on γ-Al2O3. Furthermore, reaction parameters were also optimized. Under optimal conditions (PN/PA molar radio 1:1, toluene as solvent), BPA was obtained in 87.9% yield with 95.6% conversion over the above catalyst. Meanwhile, split of PN was observed. A probable mechanism of retro-Michael reaction was also proposed.

        High-efficiency adsorption for both cationic and anionic dyes using graphene nanoribbons formed by atomic-hydrogen induced single-walled carbon nanotube carpets

        Carbonaceous materials are considered as potential adsorbents for organic dyes due to their unique structures which provide high aspect ratios, hydrophobic property, large efcient surface area, and easy surface modifcation. In this work, graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) were prepared by atomic hydrogen-induced treatment of single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNTs), which inspire the idea of cutting and unzipping the SWCNTs carpets with the modifed in molecules prevent because of the unfolding of the side-walls. The unfolded spaces and uniform vertical arrangement not only enhance the active surface area, but also promote the electrostatic and π–π interactions between dyes and GNRs. The improved adsorption capacity of GNRs beyond original SWCNTs can be determined by the adsorption kinetics and isotherm, which are evaluated through adsorption batch experiments of the typical cationic methylene blue (MB) and anionic orange II (OII) dye, respectively. It is shown that the adsorption kinetics follow a pseudo second-order model while the adsorption isotherm could be determined by Langmuir model. The results reveal that the maximum adsorption capacities of GNRs for MB and OII are 280 and 265 mg/g, respectively. The GNRs present the highly efcient, cost efective, and environmental friendly properties for the commercial applications of wastewater treatment.

        Apple Detection Algorithm based on an Improved SSD

        자연 조건에서 Apple 감지에는 가림 문제와 작은 대상 감지 어려움이 있다. 본 논문은 SSD 기반의 개선 된 모델을 제안한다. SSD 백본 네트워크 VGG16은 ResNet50 네트워크 모델로 대체되고 수용 필드 구조 RFB 구조가 도입되었다. RFB 모델은 작은 표적의 특징 정보를 증폭하고 작은 표적의 탐지 정확도를 향상시킨다. 유지해야 하는 정보를 필터링하기 위해 주의 메커니즘 (SE)과 결합하면 감지 대상의 의미 정보가 향상된다. 향상된 SSD 알고리즘은 VOC2007 데이터 세트에 대해 학습된다. SSD에 비해 개선 된 알고리즘은 폐색 및 작은 표적 탐지의 정확도를 3.4 % 및 3.9 % 향상 시켰다. 이 알고리즘은 오 탐지율과 누락된 감지율을 향상 시켰다. 본 논문에서 제안한 개선 된 알고리즘은 더 높은 효율성을 갖는다. Under natural conditions, Apple detection has the problems of occlusion and small object detection difficulties. This paper proposes an improved model based on SSD. The SSD backbone network VGG16 is replaced with the ResNet50 network model, and the receptive field structure RFB structure is introduced. The RFB model amplifies the feature information of small objects and improves the detection accuracy of small objects. Combined with the attention mechanism (SE) to filter out the information that needs to be retained, the semantic information of the detection objectis enhanced. An improved SSD algorithm is trained on the VOC2007 data set. Compared with SSD, the improved algorithm has increased the accuracy of occlusion and small object detection by 3.4% and 3.9%. The algorithm has improved the false detection rate and missed detection rate. The improved algorithm proposed in this paper has higher efficiency.
