Combustion dynamics of a dry low NOx gas turbine have been measured by utilizing a dynamic pressure measurement system. The software part of the measurement system, implemented with a commercial general-purpose DASYLab version 5.6 code, basically acquires combustion dynamics signals, performs the FFT analysis, and displays the results. The gas turbine often experiences momentary combustion instability, especially when its combustion mode changes. It is found that the measurement system developed in the study may outperform the other commercial dynamic pressure measurement system. The developed system currently serves to monitor the combustion dynamics of the gas turbine.

$Eu^{2+}$-doped $\beta$-SiAlONs ($Si_{6-z}Al_zO_zN_{8-z}:Eu_y$) are recognized as promising phosphor materials to build an white LED for lighting application due to its excellent absorption/emission efficiency in the long wave length region. In this research, the fabrication of $\beta$-SiAlON:Eu plate phosphor by sintering was investigated with fixed Eu content(y) and varied composition of the host lattice(z). The addition of the activator $Eu_2O_3$ lead to enhanced densification by forming the transient liquid phase. The refinement of a composition by the calculated lattice parameter indicated that the measured composition of the fabricated specimens is nearly same to that of designed one. The single phase $\beta$-SiAlON:Eu plate with relative density of 96.4% was achieved by addition of 2 wt% CaO, which implies the possibility of full densification by adjusting the processing variables.

90년대 이후 우리 소설비평의 영역에서 바흐친의 이론적 패러다임은 다양한 방식으로 원용되어 왔다. 본 논문은 특히 바흐친적 대화주의와 아이러니의 관련성에 주목하여 바흐친의 이론적 패러다임을 언어의 물질성 차원에서 조명하고, 이를 통해 소설 텍스트의 정치성을 파악하는 유효한 방법론으로 승화시키고자 하는 작업의 일환이다. 특히 바흐친의 대화주의를 상호텍스트성으로 축소 이해하는 서구 논자들의 입장에 거리를 두고, 모더니티의 문제, 구어성과 작가의 문제, 카니발 개념과 리얼리즘의 관계 등 다양한 맥락을 소환하여 모더니티와 아이러니, 대화주의와 모더니티의 역동적 관계를 해명하고자 한다. 이를 통해 아이러니 개념의 대화적 측면을 활성화시키고 궁극적으로 리얼리즘과 대화주의의 밀접한 관련성을 확보한다면, 이는 소설과 정치성이라는 주제를 미시적으로 탐구하는 데 유효한 패러다임이 될 수 있다. 바흐친적 패러다임은 초월적 인식주체의 부재를 곧바로 진리성의 무화로 연결하는 포스트모던적 사유와 변별되면서, 동시에 역동적 아이러니를 통해 단성적 진리의 미학적 지배를 넘어서고자 하는 이론적 고투이기도 하기 때문이다. 아이러니의 의미론적 유동성이 서구의 모호성(ambiguity) 이론과 동일시되지 않는 지점에서, 바흐친의 대화주의는 소설 장르의 미시적, 물질적 탐색에 유효한 이론으로서의 지위를 확보한다. 대화적 역동성에 대한 바흐친적 사유는 나아가 ‘커다란 시간’을 사유하는 보다 거시적인 미학적, 철학적 관점과 맞닿아 있다. The Bakhtin"s literary theory since the "90s in Korean criticism has been utilized in various ways. The purpose of this paper is to examine relevance of irony and dialogism as a Bakhtinian literary concept. This is to investigate Bakhtin"s dialogism theory in the context of linguistic-material level and to sublime Bakhtinian concept to a methodology for understanding of political nature of fiction. Apart from postmodern point of view to explain dialogism as “intertextuality” of J. Kristeva, this paper focuses on dynamic relevance of dialogism and “slovo”(utterance). Especially, this relevance is closely connected with historical modernity, colloquiality, modern authority, “carnival” and finally realism. This paper suggests also a concept “realistic irony” or “irony as a realistic methodology”. This idea could be a useful approach to think Bakhtinian dialogism in area of “aesthetical truth” and “the political”. Bakhtinian paradigm would be different from postmodern gesture about “impossibility of truth”, and it is also a bitter literary struggle to overcome monological domination of ONE voice. This kind of understanding about Bakhtin"s theory is involved with macroscopic point of view about history. It is connoted in Bakhtinian concept “Big Time”.

이스라엘-하마스 분쟁의 주요 이슈와 한반도 안보에의 함의

2023년 10월 발발한 이스라엘-하마스 분쟁의 군사안보의 측면에서 의미있는 이슈를 제기하고 있다. 본 논문은 이스라엘-하마스 분쟁의 주요 이슈를 다음과 같이 제시했다. 첫째, 이스라엘의 초기 군사 대응 실패와 국방혁신, 둘째, 이스라엘과 미국의 전쟁의 최종상태에 대한 이견, 셋째, 가짜뉴스 등 허위정보의 범람과 대응, 넷째, 북한의 불법 무기 수출과 국지분쟁의 증대, 다섯째, 다중 군사분쟁의 가능성과 미 인·태전략에의 영향이다. 핵심 이슈에 따른 주요 쟁점과 더불어 본 논문은 해당 이슈의 한반도 안보에의 함의 대응방향을 다음과 같이 제시했다. 첫째, 이른바 북한에 의한 하마스식 물량 공세에 대비하기 위해 북 공격징후의 즉각적인 식별 및 대응을 가능케하는 C4ISTAR체계의 강화가 필요하며, 이를 통해 선견(先見), 선결(先決), 선타(先打)의 대응 체계를 구축해야 한다. 둘째, 한반도에서 전면전이 재발할 경우, 전쟁의 최종상태에 대한 이견이 주요한 쟁점이 될 수 있는데, 동맹 간 이견 및 제3자에 의한 최종상태 관련 개입 및 동맹의 작전 중단을 방지하기 위한 외교적 역량을 강화해야 한다. 셋째, 한반도에서 허위정보전의 전개 가능성에 대비하기 위해 소셜 미디어의 자발적 규제를 위한 민관협력 방안을 모색해야 하며, 허위정보전 관련 대응 훈련 체계를 구축해야 한다. 넷째, 북한의 무기 수출은 북핵 개발 자금원 차단 및 인도주의 및 국제 안보 차원에서 다루어져야 하며, 다양한 외교 채널을 통해 제재를 더욱 강화해야 한다. 다섯째, 다중 국제분쟁 속 미국의 대외정책 변화 가능성에 대비하여 해외 주둔 미군(주한미군) 조정 등 정책변화 동향 등을 기민하게 파악하고 대응책을 마련할 필요가 있다. Israel-Hamas conflict raises important issues in terms of security. This paper presents the main issues of the Israel-Hamas conflict as follows: First, Israel’s initial failure in its defense against Hamas attack and the difficulty of defense innovation; second, disagreement over the end state of the war between Israel and the United States; third, the flooding disinformation and countermeasure; fourth, North Korea’s illegal arms exports and local conflict; fifth, the possibility of multiple military conflicts and their impact on the U.S. Indo-Pacific strategy. This paper also presents implications on the security of the Republic of Kore (ROK, South Korea) and alternatives in its response to North Korea’s military threat. First, it is necessary to strengthen the C4ISTAR that enables immediate identification and response to the North’s massive attack in Hamas style. Second, the end state of war would be key issue on the 2nd Korean War. South Korean diplomacy should narrow the gap between ROK-U.S on the end state of war and it also should prevent the third party intervention. Third, to respond to disinformation warfare on the Korean Peninsula, public-private cooperation for the regulation of social media should be sought, and a training and exercise system should be established. Fourth, North Korea’s arms smuggling should be handled in terms of humanitarian and international security and blocking sources for the North’s nuclear armament. Sanctions should be strengthened through various diplomatic channels. Fifth, it is necessary to quickly grasp policy changes such as adjusting U.S. troops stationed abroad and come up with countermeasures in preparation for the possibility of a change in U.S. foreign policy under multiple international conflicts.
