국내 외국인 유학생 대상 학업적응 진단 도구 개발을 위한 구성요인 연구 = Study on the Construct for the Development of the Diagnostic Tool for Academic Adjustment of Foreign Students in Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Since the 2000s, the increase in the foreign students in Korea has led to positive development in terms of bringing in international talent and enhancing the status of Korean universities. Behind this change, however, was poor management of international students and many social problems. Korean universities have improved their support policies for foreign students, both administratively and educationally. Despite these efforts, however, the problem of academic abandonment and drop-out rates remains unsolved. Thus, this study attempted to establish the construction of academic adjustment and set the construction factors as a basic study for the development of diagnostic tools for academic adjustment among international students. To this end, Delphi techniques were utilized to gather and refine expert opinions in each field. In this study, which is the primary study, the construction of academic adjustment for international students was established and its components were set. In addition, the macroscopic direction of the development of diagnostic tools was established by gathering expert opinions on the timing and number of diagnostics on academic adjustment.
