The non-aeronautical revenues of Incheon International Airport(IIA) in 2012 is 1 trillion won. And most of the sales come out of the duty free shops.
However, due to the short dwell time at duty free shops, the research for the additional factors to increase the duty free sales is needed. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the effect of passenger`s perceived time pressure and the moderating effect of impulse purchasing tendency.
Based on the research model and hypotheses from previous studies, site survey at IIA and the empirical analysis were implemented.
Positive impact of time pressure to impulse purchasing behavior and repurchase intention was found under low impulse purchasing tendency. And positive impact of satisfaction to repurchase intention was found regardless of impulse purchasing tendency.
