It is true that Korean peninsula should explore ways tward peaceful unification, and democratically step by step.
But The step have very slow.
The political situation of head Korea finally resulted in the tragic division between the south and the north after liberation, without overcoming the external facters of the established cold war, which is quite different from the situation under colonialism of japan.
Thus, the factors from the inside and the outside of country are so closely interrrlated that it is necessary for us not to confine the discussion of unification of the Korean peninsula only to the perspective of Korean people or the relation between the South and the North Korea.
Wisdom and endurance are requested with among Koreans unification to be able to direct the changes in the policies of the four powerful nations Korean peninsula the United States, the Russia(USSR),Japan and China. It is regrettable that no goverment since the liberation to this day has not been able to realise the proper unification policy in the indendent and national view.
Analysis reveals that the unification policies of the south and the north have been arbitrarily demanded until now.
It can hardly be denied that the rulers have lacked the will for unification has been used to preserve the rules goverment.
The aim of this thesis is to criticize the goverment's unification policy after liberation under the national view, with an analysis of the process of the North Korean goverment's unification policy, and thus, to suggest a new direction for the unification policy.
Finally, we should draw up a national agreement allowing ample time for unifcation, and it is requested that each citizen make resolute preperations and the government authority continue to administer policies free from the objective of maintaining political power.
