베이비붐 세대의 농촌이주 결정요인 분석 = The Analysis on Determinants of Rural Area Migration of Baby Boom Generation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Korea is experiencing aging society at a rapid speed caused by low rate of birth and increase in elderly population. As a retirement time of baby boom generation has come, promotion of drastic aging and social problems about residential mobility are on the rise. After they retire, the rate of preference to rural area as a target of spatial migration is increasing. So, this is the time when political response is needed as they incline to move seeking for their original connection such as kinship or neighborhood.
In this research, in order to analyze the residential mobility related with the retirement of baby boom generation socially and economically consisted of major class of people, especially the relationship between the rural area migration and original connection, survey on the rate of residential satisfaction, the intention of the rural area migration and priority of residential choice was conducted, and the causal relationship in these variables is set and analyzed as a structural equation model.
Through the analysis, it is verified whether the policy of rural area migration considering the original connection problem such as kinship or neighborhood is necessary, and implication of housing policy preparing for the spatial migration of baby boom generation is indicated.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리나라는 저출산과 노인인구의 증가로 빠르게 고령화가 진행되고 있다. 특히 베이비붐 세대의 은퇴시기가 도래함으로써 급격한 고령화의 촉진과 주거이동에 대한 사회문제가 대두되고 있다. 이들은 은퇴 후 주거의 공간적 이동 대상으로 농촌지역을 선호하는 비율이 증가하고 있으며, 혈연이나 이웃과 같은 연고를 찾아서 이동할 것으로 나타나 이에 대한 정책적 대응이 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사회·경제적으로 비중 있는 계층을 형성하고 있는 베이비붐 세대의 은퇴와 관련한 주거이동 특히, 농촌이주와 연고의 관련성을 분석하기 위하여 주거만족도와 농촌이주 의도 및 주거선택 중요도를 설문하였으며 이들 변수의 인과관계를 구조방정식모형으로 설정하고 분석하였다.
분석을 통해 혈연이나 이웃과 같은 연고문제를 감안한 농촌이주정책의 필요성 여부를 검증하고, 베이비붐 세대의 공간적 이동에 대비한 주거정책의 시사점을 제시하였다.
