청소년참여 경험이 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향 = An empirical analysis of youth participation experience and empowerment

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Youth participation experience helps to engage in positive behaviors that support their well being. This issue represents one of the most important topics in youth policy sector. This study addresses the effect of youth participation experience on their empowerment. For this study, a survey of 250 adolescents who participated in the Youth Council in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province was conducted. According to the results, the average of overall empowerment appeared above normal, and adolescents took part in Youth Council constantly. And role ambiguity, role excessiveness, task significance influenced all of the empowerment. Meanwhile, educational opportunity had a negative impact on overall empowerment and political-social empowerment. Implications were drawn for a future-oriented policy and practice that emphasizes youth participation.
