엘리트 레슬링 지도자의 지도가치관에 대한 질적 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 엘리트 레슬링 지도자의 지도가치관 형성과정과 지도가치관 형성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 심층적으로 분석하는데 있다. 연구대상자는 레슬링 선수출신으로 현재 엘리트 지도자로 활동하고 있는 4명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 문화 기술적 연구를 실시하였다. 연구방법은 심층면담과 참여관찰, 문서자료를 통해 자료를 수집하고, Spradley(1980)의 문화분석방법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그리고 연구의 신뢰도와 타당도 및 윤리성을 확보하기 위해 연구 진행 과정과 결과 도출 과정에서 전문가 집단의 지속적인 검증을 받았다. 연구결과는 엘리트 레슬링 지도자의 지도가치관 형성과정과 지도가치관 형성에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나누어 서술하였다.

1) 지도가치관 형성과정
엘리트 레슬링 지도자의 지도가치관 형성과정은 김태수(1993)의 가치관 형성과정의 체계에 따라서 지도가치관 인식단계, 지도가치관 사고․판단의 단계, 지도가치관 선택 단계로 구분되었다. 지도가치관 인식단계에서 엘리트 레슬링 지도자는 레슬링 입문, 선수시절 지도방식의 긍정적 영향, 선수시절 지도방식에 대한 불만, 은퇴 후 지도자 준비 과정을 통해 지도가치관을 인식하고 있다. 지도가치관 사고․판단의 단계에서 엘리트 레슬링 지도자는 레슬링 지도자 선택, 레슬링 지도자로서의 생활, 레슬링 지도자의 어려움을 통하여 스스로 지도가치관을 판단하고 있다. 지도가치관 선택단계에서 엘리트 레슬링 지도자는 지도성과, 지도가치관 확립을 통하여 가치관을 형성하는 것으로 나타났다.

2) 지도가치관 요인
엘리트 레슬링 지도자의 지도가치관 형성에 영향을 미치는 요인은 C. Morris(1973)의 가치관 분류 체계에 따라서 객관적 지도가치관 요인, 관념적 지도가치관 요인, 행동적 지도가치관 요인으로 구분되었다. 개관적 지도가치관 요인으로는 목표의식, 동기부여, 전문적 지식으로 나타났고, 관념적 지도가치관 요인으로는 리더십, 열정과 투지, 정신력, 믿음과 신뢰로 나타났으며, 행동적 지도가치관 요인으로는 소통, 즐기는 운동, 솔선수범으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the process in which elite wrestling guiders’ guidance values are established and the factors of guidance values in an in-depth way. Cultural and technical research was conducted for four subjects who were former wrestlers and are now working as a professional guider. The research methods are to collect data through in-depth interviews, participation observation, and documentary materials and analyze them by using the cultural analysis method by Spradley(1980). And, in order to secure the reliability, feasibility, and ethics, steady verification was conducted in the process of both research progress and result-drawing progress. The consequences of this research was described by dividing the process in which wrestling guiders’ guidance values are established and the factors which have an influence on the establishment of guidance values.

1) The Process of Guidance Values Establishment
The process of guidance values establishment of elite wrestling guiders was divided into the stage at which they recognize guidance values, the stage at which guidance values are thought and judged, and the stage at which guidance values are selected according to the system of values establishment process by Kim Taesoo(1993). At the first stage, elite wrestling guiders recognize their guide values through how they enter into wrestling, the positive effects of guidance methods they experienced as a wrestler, the dissatisfaction with guidance methods they experienced as a wrestler, and the process in which they prepare for becoming a guider after retirement. At the second stage, elite wrestling guiders made a judgment of their own through the selection of wrestling guiders, the living as a wrestling guider, and the difficulties as a wrestling guider. At the third stage, it turned out that elite wrestling guiders formed their values through guidance achievements and the establishment of guide values.

2) The factors of Guidance Values
The factors of guidance values of elite wrestling guiders were divided into objective guidance values factors, ideological guidance values factors and behavioral guidance values according to the system of values classification by C. Morris(1973). It turned out that objective guidance values factors were a sense of aiming, motivation, and professional knowledge, ideological guidance values factors were leadership, enthusiasm and fighting spirit, mental power, belief and faith, and behavioral guidance values were communication, sports they enjoyed, and taking the initiative and setting an example.
