독서 MBTI 검사 도구 개발 및 타당화 = Development and validation of a reading Myers-Briggs type indicator test

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 독자의 정의적, 행동적 차원을 측정할 수 있는 척도를 마련하기 위한 목적으로 독서 MBTI 검사를 개발하고, 고등학생과 대학생 781명을 대상으로 타당화하여 7요인 30문항의 검사 도구를 구성하였다. 상황 맥락을 독서 활동으로 한정하고, 진술문에 대한 반응을 연속형 척도인 5점 리커트 척도로 수집하며, 상관행렬 및 요인구조 분석을 통해 서로 다른 지표가 단일한 요인으로 통합될 수 있는지 여부를 살핌으로써 측정학적 타당성을 확보하고자 하였다. MBTI 검사가 지닌 유형론적 접근의 발상을 적용하여 독서 성향을 직관적으로 이해하고, 높은 대중성을 바탕으로 하여 독자 특성에 대한 사회적 관심을 높이는 데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

In this study, we developed a reading Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) test containing seven factors and 30 items that can measure the affective and behavioral dimensions of readers; we validated it with 781 high school and college students. We fulfilled the measurement validity, assuming that the context is reading activities, collecting responses to statements rated on a continuous 5-point Likert scale; we examined whether different indicators can be integrated into a single factor through a correlation matrix and factor structure analysis. The application of the idea of the typological approach of MBTI tests can help us understand reading disposition and contribute to the increasing social interest in reader characteristics based on high publicity.
