국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 후기 낭만주의 작곡가 Carl Reinecke(1824-1910)의 작품 중 Flute Sonata op.167 "Undine"을 연구 분석하였다.
"Undine"은 물의 요정이라는 뜻의 부제를 가지고 있으며 신비스럽고 슬픈 분위기를 분산화음으로 표현한 곡이다.
이 곡은 C. Reinecke의 성공적인 작품으로 총 4악장 구성이며, 1악장 e단조 Allegro, 소나타형식, 2악장 b단조 Allegretto vivace-Piu lento quasi Andante-Allegretto vivace, Rondo 형식, 3악장 G장조 Andante tranquillo- Molto vivace-Tempo I, 3부분 형식, 4악장 e단조 Allegro-Piu tranquillo-piu mosso-piu lento의 3부분 형식으로 되어있다. 주제는 각 악장마다 주요한 동기적 선율이 제시되고, 그 선율들은 모방, 변형, 확대등을 통해 계속적으로 나타난다. 동기적 선율들은 물의 요정이라는 곡의 기본 분위기를 잘 나타내며 아름답고 신비스런 선율들이 많이 나온다. 화성 기법도 낭만주의의 특징을 잘 나타내고 있으며 잦은 전조, 동형진행, 불협화음, pedal point, 분산화음 등은 곡 전반에 걸쳐 나타나고 있다.
본 논문은 후기 낭만주의 시대의 음악양식에서 신고전주의 음악양식으로 가는 길을 열어준 Carl Reinecke(1824-1910)에 대해 연구해 보며 그의 성공작 Flute Sonata op.167 "Undine"을 형식, 화성, 선율 등의 측면에서 이 곡을 연구 분석하였다.

Carl Reinecke (1824-1910), a composer, conducter, performer and educater has establish his reputation as a represenrative and guardian of tradion, and also made it his business to foster the music of the pre- classical composer.
The purpose of this study is to understand the composer's aim regarding this work, and to carry out on objective and academic performance through research and analysis.
Sonata "Undine" op.167 by Carl Reinecke has the general atmosphere of lyrical flowing in accordance with the meaning of "Undine", "the Fairy of Water"
This sonata is composed four movements. The 1st movement is sonata form with wavy melody. The second movement is rondo form, which is the Allegro viavace, and can be characterized by clear rhythm of stacatto. The 3rd and 4th movements are compound three part form. Each movement main formation key is in e minor, b minor, G Major and e minor, respectively, all being related keys.
The theme melody and motive that is presented in each movement is closely related to the rhythm and tone structure, and is used in other movement as well. It also develops by sequence, imitation, tone, and rhyhm modification. The harmonical characteristic were used to strengthen the concept of the key and also for the deep and rich sound which is characteristic of the Romanticism.
