부모의 학대 및 방임이 아동청소년 가출에 미치는 영향에서 비행친구의 매개효과 = The influence of Abuse and Neglect on the Runaway of Youth and Children: Mediating effects of Delinquent Peers

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of delinquent peers on the relationship between parental abuses and neglect and runaway of youth and children. The data were collected from Korean Survey on the Runaway of Youth and Children in 2009(N=9,750) and the data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling by means of SPSS 17.0 and AMOS 7.0. Additionally, bootstrapping analysis were used to test significant mediate effects. Our results demonstrated that parental abuse and neglect influences runaway of youth and children through delinquent peers. In addition, parental abuse and neglect has a direct influence on runaway of youth and children. Thus, these results proved the partial mediating effects of delinquent peers. This study suggests the necessity of both intervention as well as the development and implementation of practical methods for the prevention of runaway of youth and children.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 부모의 학대 및 방임이 아동청소년 가출에 영향을 미치는 경로에서 비행친구의 매개역할을 검증하는 것이다. 연구대상으로는 2009년도 ‘한국아동청소년 가출실태조사’에서 초·중·고등학교 남녀학생(n=9,750)의 자료를 이용하였고, 자료분석은 SPSS 17.0과 AMOS 7.0을 사용하여 구조방정식 모형을 적용하였다. 연구모형인 매개효과의 검증을 위해서는 부트스트랩 방식(bootstrapping)을 적용하였으며 연구결과, 부모의 학대 및 방임이 비행친구를 매개로 하여 아동청소년의 가출에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이때 부모의 학대 및 방임은 비행친구를 통한 간접효과 뿐 아니라 아동청소년의 가출에 대한 직접효과도 나타내었고, 연구모형인 부분매개모형이 경쟁모형과의 비교를 통해 보다 적합한 모형으로 지지되었다. 본 연구결과는 아동청소년의 가출에 영향을 미치는 변인들 간의 관계성을 구체적으로 제시함으로써 예방과 중재에 대한 실질적인 개입을 모색하도록 한다.
