영화를 활용한 웰빙 및 웰다잉교육의 통합적 접근 = The Integrated Approach of Well-being and Well-dying`s Education by Using Movie

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 웰빙·웰다잉 교육을 소통시키되 영화까지 통합하여 영화적 통합교육의 방향을 모색하는 것이다. 때문에 긍정심리학을 죽음교육 혹은 웰다잉 교육의 다양한 흐름 중 로고테라피, 의미관리이론과 연결시키되 영화를 활용하는 방안을 모색해 보았다. 압바스 키아로스타미의 영화 <사랑을 카피하다>처럼 원본과 복제의 이분법을 넘어서서 말한다면, 행복한 삶과 죽음에 대한 영화의 모방(미메시스)와 행복한 삶과 죽음에 관한 영화를 모방하는 우리의 삶의 이분법을 넘어선다면 우리는 이런 ‘기막힌 모방’을 통해 우리는 보다 행복하고 의미있는 죽음을 살아낼 수 있지 않을까를 시도해 보았다. 다시 말해서 죽음불안을 감소하고 죽음을 수용하게 하는 죽음교육, 웰다잉교육이 긍정심리학과 통합될 수 있는 가능성이 모색되게 되었고, 이런 가능성을 영화를 통해 통합하려는 시도를 천착하되 라이언 니미엑 등의 선행연구를 고려하면서도 보다 심화·확장하고자 하였다. 때문에 본 연구에서는 빅터 프랭클의 로고테라피 이론이나 폴 웡의 의미관리이론의 의미를 추구, 의미 만들기 그리고 의미재구성 과정을 통해 웰빙과 웰다잉 교육 및 영화의 통합가능성을 모색해 보고자 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is the application of positive psychology and logotherapy·m meaning management theory for well-being and well-dying education through movie. Positive psychology at the movies is about how to use films and movies to learn about the concepts of positive psychology and its benefits in real life. Character strengths are foundational to well-being, and movies are a rich source with which to build character strengths and hence flourishing. The 24 character strengths is reviewed, and an exemplar movie presented for each, followed by discussion points and potential positive interventions. There is also a list of positive psychology movies with the corresponding virtues and strengths. And using movies to decrease death anxiety and avoidance, movies are another possibility for death acceptance and well-dying education. Movies are presented here as an educational force, with the ability to promote well-being and well-dying. This means that positive psychology and logotherapy, meaning menagement theory, existential psychology using movie needs to be utilized for integrated well-being and well-dying program.
