완벽주의와 학업적 자기효능감이 초등학생의 학업지연행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 완벽주의와 학업적 자기효능감이 초등학생의 학업지연행동에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울지역 소재의 2개 초등학교에 재학 중인 5, 6학년 아동 599명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다.

본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.

첫째, 완벽주의 성향과 학업지연행동과의 관계를 알아본 결과, 적응적 완벽주의는 학업지연행동과 부적 관계가 있고, 부적응적 완벽주의는 학업지연행동과 정적인 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

둘째, 학업적 자기효능감에 따른 학업지연행동과의 관계를 알아본 결과, 학업적 자기효능감이 높을수록 학업지연행동은 적게 나타나는 결과를 보였다.

셋째, 학업지연행동에 대한 완벽주의와 학업적 자기효능감의 설명력을 알아본 결과, 학업적 자기효능감보다 완벽주의가 학업지연행동을 더 설명하는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine how the perfectionism and academic self-efficacy of school children affected their academic procrastination. The subjects in this study were 599 fifth and sixth graders from two different elementary schools in Seoul.

The findings of the study were as follows:
First, the relationship between perfectionist disposition and academic procrastination was investigated, and it is found that adaptive perfectionism was negatively linked to academic procrastination, and maladaptive perfectionism had a positive relationship to that.

Second, as for connections between academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination, the high in academic self-efficacy showed low to less academic procrastination.

Third, regarding to the prediction of perfectionism and academic self- efficacy about academic procrastination, perfectionism made a better prediction of academic procrastination than academic self-efficacy.
