현장교사들의 학습연구년제 참여경험에 대한 질적 사례연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated the experiences of school teachers who are on a sabbatical year based on the insider’s perspectives applying a qualitative case study method. The specific results and conclusions of this paper are as follows. Firstly, the school teachers had a variety of application motives and aims depending on their individual characteristics. However, they gradually clarified their application motives and aims during the preparation and application period of their sabbatical year. Secondly, the school teachers tried to balance their personal autonomy with institutional accountability in the process of actual adaptation and implementation in their sabbatical year. Thirdly, the school teachers developed their own professional community with their collegiality. Fourthly, the school teachers used their personal research products during their sabbatical year as the outcome of their institution for institutional accountability. Based on these results, this study would take a critical role of fundamental resource in order to establish and promote the system of sabbatical years for school teachers by investigating their educational experience and meaning, and by suggesting the practical implications in the field of education.
