김은숙 신데렐라 드라마의 도식적 내러티브 분석 : <파리의 연인>, <시크릿 가든>, <상속자들>, <도깨비>를 대상으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

신데렐라 서사는 유라시아 대륙에서 발견된 칠백 여종의 신데렐라 민담으로부터 이어져 내려오는 보편적으로 재미있는 이야기이다. 하지만 이러한 신데렐라 서사는 문화, 인종, 시대, 지리적으로 특수한 개별 사회에서 특수하게 파생된 형태로 나타나기도 한다. 이에 본 연구는 현대 한국의 대중에게 소구하는 신데렐라 서사의 ‘보편적인 동시에 특수한 서사 구조’를 찾기 위해, 한국의 대표적인 신데렐라 서사로서 김은숙 신데렐라 드라마의 도식적 내러티브를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 김은숙 신데렐라 드라마의 도식적 내러티브는 <고난 – 환상의 사랑 – 희망찬 변모 – 신분의 위기 – 기사도 정신의 해결>으로 나타났다. 주인공 각자가 현실적 문제를 갖고 있는 이야기는 ‘고난’의 사건으로 시작하나, 두 사람은 ‘환상’에 의해 ‘사랑’에 빠져 고난의 현실을 벗어나게 되고, 그 결과로 두 사람은 ‘희망찬 변모’를 겪는다. 하지만 이로 인해 ‘신분의 위기’를 맞이하며, 그 위기 상황에서 남자 주인공은 ‘기사도 정신’을 발휘해 위기를 ‘해결’한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Cinderella narrative is the generally interesting story derived from appropriately 700 Cinderella folktales in the Eurasian Continent. However, this Cinderella narrative is usually transformed to special forms according to societies which are unique in culture, race, age, and geography. So, this study intended to find the universal and special structure of the Cinderella narrative which appeals to the modern Korean public and to analyze the schematic narrative for Kim Eun-sook’s Cinderella dramas which represent the Cinderella narrative of Korea. As a result, the schematic narrative for Kim Eun-sook’s Cinderella dramas was analyzed as <Sufferings – Falling in Love by Fantasy – Hopeful Transformation – Crisis of Status – Resolution with Spirit of Chivalry>. Each of the main female/male characters undergoes the events of “Sufferings” in the beginning. But they escape the reality of sufferings by “Falling in Love by Fantasy”, and go through “Hopeful Transformation” together. Although the change causes their “Crisis of Status” in a result, every male character overcomes the crisis by “Resolution with Spirit of Chivalry” in the end.
