부모의 휴대폰 사용을 통한 청소년 자녀의 생활모니터링 연구 = Study on Parental Monitoring of Everyday life of Adolescent Children with the Use of Cell Phone

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objective of this study is to identify the elements to pro-actively and actively monitor the everyday life of the adolescent children by their parents with the help of cell phone. In addition, the study is aiming to identify the socio-demographic elements, the difference between variables related to the use of cell phone and the monitoring elements related to the use of cell phones. The target of the research is 150 parents who were randomly selected in the regions including Daegu, Busan, Ulsan, Masan and Daejun. For data analysis, the were conducted frequencies, factor analysis, cross analysis, ANOVA. As a result of the analysis on the parental monitoring of adolescent children by using cell phone, the elements of monitoring can be categorized into the school life, moral education, everyday life and the whereabouts of their children. The parents who are in their 40’s who have jobs and middle school of high schoolchildren and those who think their children’s academic performance is above the average were found to actively use cell phones to monitor the lives of their children. In addition, meaningful difference has been identified in the sub-elements of the monitoring related to the use of cell phone. The adolescent children of Parents for monitoring via cell phone interference with activities to protect themselves than feel and know that you can undetstand. In this regard, parents are encouraged to maintain positive communications with their children through appropriate use of cell phones because it can help them monitor their children, thereby preventing the children from being exposed to dangerous situations and providing supports to the children to give psychological security. In addition, even in your child's cell phone surveillance can be done without causing conflict strategies are needed.
