가정의 구조적 결손과 기능적 결손이 청소년 자녀의 자아존중감에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of Structural and Functional Deficiency of the Family on the Self-Esteem of the Children of Adolescents

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of structural and functional deficiency of the family on the self-esteem of the children of adolescents. The specific research question is as follows: Is there any difference in the influence of the type of broken family on the self-esteem of the children of adolescents? To verify this question, a part of `the 4th Year Korea Youth Panel Survey Data` investigated by `National Youth Policy Institute` in 2006 was used, and two-way ANOVA was adopted to compare the influences of structural and functional deficiency of the family on the self-esteem. As a result, it turned out that structural and functional shortage of the family had no interactive effects, and that both of them affected the self-esteem. Besides, 0.7% of the total variation of the self-esteem resulted from structural shortage, and 8.4% from functional shortage, which indicates that the self-esteem of the children of adolescents is more affected when parents do not properly play their roles, rather than when there is structural shortage on parents.
