學校組織의 總體的 質 管理 模型 開發 硏究 = (A) Study on the Model of Total Quality Management in School Organizations

The primary purpose of this study was to develop Total Quality Management Model which can be applied to school organizations in Korea. The following objectives were examined in this study :
First, to review the TQM theory and review the applicability to Korean schools', Second, to extract the major factors of TQM appropriate for Korean schools ;
Finally, to develop the TQM Model appropriate for Korean schools. To accomplish the above objectives, this study designed as follows :
First, by reviewing the related literature, the applicability of TQM to Korean schools and the major factors of TQM were examined and extracted. The research hypotheses were proposed on basis of theoretical rationale and the preliminary TQM model was constructed.
Second, the questionnaires were developed to measure the major factors of TQM to be suitable for Korean schools. The questionnaires were verified by examining the validity (Factor analysis and content validity) and reliability (Cronbach's a coefficient and test-retest reliability). The final instrument was composed of 53 items for use in this study.
Finally, LISREL(Linear Structual Equation Modeling) was adopted to test the relationship between theoretical model and each variables. The model fittners was identified by using the chi-square statistics, goodness of fit and adjusted goodness of fix index, norm fitted index, and Tucker-Lewis index.
The following conclusions were drawn based upon the findings of the study' First, it was found that TQM model could be applied to our school; Second, the major factors of TQM in our school were revealed as quality leadership, empowerment, participation, reward system, professional development, expectation of education demender, members' commitment to school organizations, goal setting and vision sharing, motivation, and quality performance.
Finally, the TQM model developed in this study was identified as good for using in further study. The relationship between major factors of TQM could be diagramed as follows :
