김은희의 "Piano Trio No.1"의 분석 연구 = An Analysis of Eun Hee Kim's

국문 초록 (Abstract)

19세기 말부터 진행된 전통적인 기존의 조성음악(Tonal Music)은 차츰 붕괴되어 갔다. 이 때 바그너(Wilhelm Richard Wagner, 1813-1883)에 의한 반음계주의의 영향으로 나타난 무조성(Atonality)은 쉔베르그(Anorld Schoenberg, 1974-1951)를 중심으로 한 제 2 비엔나 악파(The Second Viennese School)에 의해 더욱 발전되어 20세기 말 여러 작곡가들의 작품에서 중요한 양식으로 자리잡았다. 무조성의 대표적인 작품으로는 쉔베르그의 “기대(Erwartung, op.17)”, “달에 홀린 삐에로(Pierrot Lunaire, op.21)”등이 있다.
작품 전체에 걸쳐 나타나는 특징적 요소와 그 요소들 간의 상호 유기적 연관성을 악장별로 분석하고자 하여, 전체 형식과 구조를 중점으로 그 외에 선율, 리듬, 음 조직, 다이나믹의 관점에서 세부적으로 연구하여, 이를 통해 곡 전체에 걸쳐 나타나는 통일성과 다양성을 고찰해보았다.
본 논문은 무조적 개념을 토대로 하여 3악장으로 쓴 본인의 작품 “Piano Trio No.1"을 분석한 것이다.
이 곡은 세 개의 악장으로 구성되어 있으며, 각 악장마다 각각의 악기들의 특징을 살려 다양한 기법과 음악적 표현을 특징 있게 나타내고자 하였다.
제 1악장은 A-B-A'의 3 Section으로 구성되어 있으며 Piano의 Ostinato가 특징적이다. 또한 현악기에 약음기 사용, 하모닉스, 피치카토 등의 특수한 악기 기법이 강조되어 사용되었다.
제 2악장은 A-B-C-A'의 4 Section으로 구성되어 있다.
제 3악장은 A-B-A'-B'의 4 Section으로 구성되어 있으며, 현악기의 pizzcato, sul tasto, harmonics, tremolo 등의 여러 기법이 사용되었다.
특히 이 곡은 석사학위 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 작품 중 하나로 계획(Plan)에서 작곡(Composition), 수정(Correction), 평가(Evaluation), 연주(Performance)의 과정을 거친 작품이다. 이러한 일련의 과정을 거친 이 곡을 분석하는 것은 분석을 통하여 이 작품 안에 내재된 음악적 요소들을 정리하고 새로운 가능성을 발견해서 현재의 부족한 점을 찾아내어 앞으로의 작품 활동에 번영하기 위함이라 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Since late 19th century, the traditional tonal music began to collapse. Then, atonality emerged being influenced by Wilhelm Richard Wagner's(1813-1883) chromaticism only to be developed by the Second Viennese School led by Arnold Shoenberg(1874-1951), and later be established as a major form for various composers in the late 20th century.
This Thesis analyzed the major features throughout the piece and the mutual organic relationship between the features by every movement. And through the study in the perspectives of overall structure, melody, rhythm, tone color and dynamics, I have studied the unity and musical diversity that was shown throughout the musical work.
In this thesis, I analyzed my piece “Piano Trio No. 1” which was composed to three movements in the base of the atonality. This piece consists of three movements. And in each movement, I intended to show the various techniques and musical expressions by taking advantage of the characteristics of each instruments.
The first movement is made up of 3 sections of which structure is A-B-A'. And Ostinato of the piano is the distinctive feature. Also, special techniques were used such as muted strings, harmonics, pizzicato, etc.
The second movement is made up of 3 sections of which structure is A-B-C-A'.
The third movement is made up of 3 sections of which structure is A-B-A'-B'. And various techniques of the strings were used such as pizzcato, sul tasto, harmonics, tremolo.
