한국 전통문양을 활용한 중학교 미술과 교수학습지도 방안 = (The)Teaching-Learning Plan for the Art Subject of Middle School Using Traditional Korean Patterns

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리주변에는 오랜 역사와 전통이 이어져 오는 훌륭한 전통문화들이 많다. 우리의 전통문화는 우리민족의 원형적 특질을 보여줄 뿐만 아니라 나아가 새로운 문화를 접목하여세계 속에 한국 문화의 위상을 높일 수 있는 잠재된 미의식이 내재 되어있다. 21세기는 세계화, 정보화 시대로서 다양한 문화와 정보들이 제공되며 공유되고 있다. 이러한 사회흐름 속에서 우리들은 각자의 개성을 찾고 전통문화를 계승, 발전 시켜 나아가는 것이 매우 중요하다. 또한 요즘 들어 주변 국가들의 역사왜곡과 한류열풍으로 한국의 전통 문화에 대한 정확한 의미와 이해가 필요하다. 그래서 본 연구자는 미술 교육에 있어서 우리의 전통문화 중 한민족의식이 반영된 창조적 정신활동의 소산인 한국 전통문양에 대한 올바른 의미 인식과 한국 전통문양의 아름다움을 현대의 생활과 연결하여 독특하고 미적 감각을 창조해내어 이를 향유 할 수 있도록 「한국 전통문양을 활용한 중학교 미술과 교수학스지도 방안」을 모색하였다.
본 연구 방법과 내용으로 첫째, 한국 전통문양에 대한 이론적 배경을 고찰하여한국 전통문양의 개념과 상징적 의미를 이해하고, 종류들을 분류하였다. 둘째, 현재 중할생들을 대상으로 한국 전통문양에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 셋째, 현행 중학교 7종 미술교과서에 나타난 한국 전통문양에 대해 분석하고 실태를 파악하며 한국 전통문양과 관련된 예시작품을 분석하여, 그에 따른 새로운 학습지도 방안을 제시하여 실제 수업에 적용하였다. 또한 실제 수업 결과물인 학생 작품들을 수록하였다.
끝으로 본 연구의 제한점을 제시하여 현행 미술교육의 문제점과 개선되어야 할 점, 깨달은 점을 수록하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In our surroundings, there are many excellent traditional cultures whose long history and tradition have been handed down. Our traditions and cultures not only show the archetypal features of our nation but also contain the latent aesthetic consciousnes that can enhance the position of the Korean culture in the world by adding a new culture to them.
The 21th century is the age of globalization and computerization, when a diversity of cultures and inforamtion are provided and shared, In theis stream of society, it is very important that we proceed to find out our own individuality and accept and develop our traditions and cultures. In addition, it is necessary tohave the accurate meaning and understanding of Korean traditions and cultures due to the distortion of Korean history by surrounding countries and the heated wave of Korean trends in these days. So this study attempted to investigate 「The Teaching-Learning Plan for the Art Subject of Middle School Using Traditional Korean Patterns」. It si intended to help students have an understanding of the correct meaning of Korean traditional patterns, the product of creative spiritual activity reflecting the antional consciousness of Korean people in our traditions and cultures, in their art education, and create and enjoy the piculiar and esthetic sense by connecting the bearty of Korean traditional patterns with the contempirary life.
In the research method, this study was deeloped as follows:
First, it sought to investigate the theoretical background of Korean traditional patterns, understrand the concept and symbolic meaning of Korean traditional patterns and classify their kinds.
Second, it conducted the questionnaire research on Korean traditional apttern fot the middle school students.
Third, it sought to analyze the Korean traditional aptterns shown in seven kinds of arts textbooks of middle school, idetify their realities, analze the exhibited works realted to Korean traditional patterns, present a resultant new teaching-learning plan and apply it to actual school. And it included the art works of the students surveyed, the outcome of actual school.
Finally, it presented the limitation of this study and described the problem of current art education, improvements and the points realized.
