공·사립유치원 학부모의 만족도 및 교차인식에 관한 연구 = (The) Research on Parents' Satisfaction and Cross-recognition of Public and Private Kindergarten

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 공립유치원이나 사립유치원중 한 곳에 자녀를 보낸 부모들의 공·사립 유치원에 대한 만족도 및 교차인식에 대하여 조사해 보고 그에 따른 차이가 무엇인지를 알아보고자 하였다.
연구문제는 다음과 같다.
가. 공립유치원과 사립유치원에 자녀를 보내는 부모들의 유치원에 대한 만족도는, 어떠한가?
나. 공립유치원에 자녀를 보내고 있는 부모들의 사립유치원에 대한 인식은 어떠, 한가?
다. 사립유치원에 자녀를 보내고 있는 부모들의 공립유치원에 대한 인식은 어떠, 한가?
라. 공립유치원과 사립유치원에 자녀를 보내는 부모들의 유치원 선택 요인은 어, 떠한가?
본 연구의 대상은 서울시에 소재한 공립유치원 4개원, 사립유치원 4개원의 부모250명을 표집 하였으며, ‘공·사립유치원 학부모의 만족도 및 교차인식에 관한 질문지’를 연구자가 만들어 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다.
본 연구에서 얻은 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 부모들의 유치원에 대한 만족도는 공·사립유치원 학부모 모두 교사의 학습지도 능력, 교사가 아동을 대하는 태도, 교육내용과 방법, 교재교구의 충실성에 대해서는 만족도가 높았으나, 부모교육 요인에 대해서는 만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 공립유치원에서는 학급당 유아의 수, 통원 방법, 유치원의 하루 교육시간에 대해 만족도가 낮게 나타났고, 사립유치원에서는 교육비 부담액, 학급당유아수, 통원거리와 시간에 대해 만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 공·사립유치원 모두 자녀가 다니는 유치원 선택에 대한 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며,공립 유치원에 보내는 부모들이 사립유치원에 보내는 부모보다 만족도가 높게 나타났다.
둘째, 공립유치원에 자녀를 보내고 있는 부모들은 공립과 사립유치원의 차이점으로 교육비용과 교육내용을 들었으며, 사립유치원에 대한 불만 사항은 교육비의 부담을 우선 순위로 꼽았다.
셋째, 사립유치원에 자녀를 보내고 있는 부모들은 공립과 사립유치원의 차이점으로 교육비용과 시설 및 환경을 들었으며, 공립유치원에 대한 불만 사항은 교육시간이 짧다와 학급당 원아수가 많다고 응답하였다.
넷째, 공·사립유치원 학부모 모두 유치원 선택시 가장 우선적으로 고려하는 것은 교육프로그램과 시설 및 환경적인 측면이었으며, 사립에 비해 공립유치원 학부모들은 자녀의 유치원을 선택할 때 교육비용에 대한 고려도가 상대적으로 높게 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research is for the purpose of figuring out what satisfaction and cross-recognition of the parents who have children going to private kindergarten or public kindergarten, are like.
The research issues are as follows:
A. What is parents' satisfaction like in case their children go to both public kindergarten and private kindergarten?
B. What is parents' recognition of private kindergarten like in case their children go to public kindergarten only?
C. What is parents' recognition of public kindergarten like in case their children go to private kindergarten only?
D. What's the factors of choice between public kindergarten and private kindergarten?
The research has got 250 people who have kids in 4 public kindergartens, 4 private kindergartens located in Seoul, involved in its sample. The researchers made out the questionnaire titled, "Research on Parents' Satisfaction and Recognition of Public, Private Kindergarten" and collected and analyzed the data.
The results of the research are summed up like the follows.
First of all, the result shows the both groups of parents are highly satisfied with performance of teachers, teachers' attitude toward children, teaching methods and contents, and perfect readiness of teaching materials. Parents, however, are dissatisfied with poor motives of parent's involvement in education. Meanwhile, public kindergartens are rated low in the categories like head count per a class, commuting way, class hours per a day. Private kindergartens are rated low in tuition, head count per a class, and commuting distance and time. Both parent groups are satisfied with their choice about kindergarten. The result shows the parents of public kindergarten group are more satisfied than those of private kindergarten group.
Second, the differences between public kindergarten and private kindergarten are listed as education cost and contents by the parents of public kindergarten group. They complained the burden of high tuition kept them from sending their children to private kindergarten.
Third, the differences between public kindergarten and private kindergarten are listed as education cost and facilities by the parents of private kindergarten group. They don't like private kindergarten because of short class hour and too many head counts per a class.
Last, both groups of parents put education programs and surroundings in the priority when they pick out kindergartens. The parents of public kindergarten group consider education cost more than those of private kindergarten group.
