장애인당사자의 장애인운동 경험에 관한 질적 연구 = A Qualitative Study on the Experience of Disability Right Movements of the Disabled

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the meanings and essence of experience in the disability right movements of the disabled. Method: The in-depth interview was conducted targeting five disabled people with experience in the disability right movements, and the phenomenological research methodology as one of the qualitative research methods was used. Results: The collection of themes about their experience in the disability right movements included 'glooming existence', 'motivation', 'shouting to the world', 'aggravated conflict', 'alone, together', and 'now towards plus'. In the results of integrating the drawn collection of themes, the essence of experience in the disability right movements of research participants was verified as 'resistance and identity'. Conclusions: First, in case when deciding the policies for the disabled, the amendment to mandatory provision is needed instead of voluntary provision. Second, there should be an agreement on the definition of movement from the inside of disability right movement. Third, the disability right movement should band together with civil society groups. Fourth, it would be necessary to cultivate the leaders of disability right movements in each type of disability.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 장애인 당사자의 장애인운동 경험의 의미와 본질을 탐색하는데 있다. 연구방법: 장애인운동 경험이 있는 장애인 5명에 대하여 심층면접을 실시하였으며, 질적연구방법의 하나인 현상학적 연구방법론을 활용하였다. 연구결과: 연구 참여자의 장애인운동 경험에 관한 주제모음은 ‘어둑한 존재’, ‘이끌림’, ‘세상에 외침’, ‘조장된 갈등’, ‘홀로, 함께’, ‘이제는 플러스를 향해’로 나타났다. 도출된 주제모음을 통합하여 나타난 연구 참여자의 장애인운동 경험의 본질은 ‘저항과 주체성’으로 확인되었다. 결론: 첫째, 장애인정책결정시 임의조항이 아닌 강제조항으로의 개정이 필요하다. 둘째, 장애인운동 내부의 운동의 정의에 대하 합의가 필요하다. 셋째, 장애인운동의 시민사회단체와의 연대가 필요하다. 넷째, 장애유형별 장애인운동의 리더 양성이 필요하다
