特成化 高等學校 學生들의 進路에 關한 調査 硏究 : 인천지역 특성화고등학교 학생들의 설문 분석 = A Research on the Preference for Specialized High School Students : An Analysis of Question for Students in Specialized High School in the region of Incheon

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The main aim of this study is to make an investigation, make a comparative study, and analyze the reality of students attending Specialized High School students on the awareness of career education as searching for the direction and contents of a course of study and a career education, and to provide basic data for letting students choose adaptable course to individuals as taking an career education required by industrial settings. The following questions are set up to achieve the aim of this study.
1. What is the admission motive of Specialized High School students?
2. How is the satisfaction with school coursework of them?
3. How is the propensity to career of them?
To clarify the study questions, literature and investigation research are used in this study. As for literature research, reference documents and a preceding research are examined. Investigation research can analyze the result taken statistic on questionnaire investigation. This questionnaire is made 17 questions for each 4 fields with reference to that of preceding researchers and then is consulted from advisor's complementary.
The objects of sampling are all students attending 3 specialized high schools in Incheon. This research had carried out from May 1st to June 30th 2006. The total 930 papers were given out and 858 were collected among them. They were analysed except 58 inadequate to be handled in statistics after checking them up in detail. After that, these data are classified as four fields and are calculated with percentage according to response measures for each questions.
The followings are the conclusive educational meanings and suggestions of this study.
Firstly, middle school students should choose their course considering their aptitude, interests, physical features, and dream when they decide to go to Specialized High School.
Secondly, to enhance the satisfaction and quality of course study, it is necessary to link the lesson study about majors in school to industrial settings.
Thirdly, the government and society should make efforts to reform the whole social understanding to encourage graduates majoring in science and engineering.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 주된 목적은 특성화 고등학교 학생들의 진로의식에 대한 실태를 조사, 비교, 분석하여 교과 교육과 진로 교육의 방향과 내용을 탐색함으로써 학생들에게 맞는 교육과 산업 현장에서 요구하는 수준의 교육을 얻도록 하여 자신의 적성에 맞는 진로를 선택하도록 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이와 같은 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 다음과 같은 연구 문항을 설정하였다.
1, 특성화 고등학교 학생들의 입학 동기는?
2, 특성화 고등학교 학생들의 교과학습 만족도는?
3, 특성화 고등학교 학생들의 진로 성향은?
위의 연구 문항을 밝히기 위하여 본 연구에서 문헌 연구는 관련 문헌과 선행 연구를 통하여 이루어졌고, 조사 연구는 설문지 중심의 조사를 실시하고, 그 결과를 통계적 접근에 의한 자료 처리를 통하여 분석하는 방법으로 하였다. 조사 도구로 사용한 설문지는 선행 연구자들의 설문 내용을 참고하여 본 연구의 목적에 맞게 4개 영역 17개 문항을 작성한 후 지도 교수의 지도를 받아 수정 보완하여 사용하였다.
본 연구를 수행하기 위하여 표집 대상을 인천광역시 지역에 소재하는 3개 특성화 고등학교에 재학 중인 전 학년을 대상으로 2006년 5월 1일부터 6월 30일 까지 본 조사를 실시하였고, 설문지를 총 930매를 배부하여 858매를 회수하였으며, 회수된 설문지를 면밀하게 검토한 결과 통계 처리에 부적합한 58매를 제외한 매수를 분석하였다. 설문지를 통해 수집된 자료는 4개 영역으로 분류하였고, 각 문항별로 반응 척도에 따라 백분율(％)로 산출하여 비교하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 중심으로 교육적인 의미와 시사점을 결론으로 정리하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 중학교에서 특성화 고등학교로 진로를 결정할 때 본인의 적성, 흥미, 신체적 특성, 장래 희망 등이 충분히 고려하여 선택해야 한다.
둘째, 교과에 대한 만족을 높이기 위해 전공 교과에 대한 수업연구와 산업 현장과의 연계 교육을 통해 교육의 질을 높인다.
셋째, 이공계 졸업자를 인정해 주는 사회 인식의 전환을 위해 정부와 사회는 노력해야 한다.
